Not a failure but desperate. I am Sanwo, I won't be this desperate because he has lagos in his bag not due to overconfidence but his work will speak for him and tribalism of GRV has drastically reduced his chances
He's not a politician.

If you're afraid of losing, just rig it and then defend it in the courts. No need for stoking unnecessary resentments.

Lagos APC should learn to shun elitism and be intouch with the masses.

Politics / Re: Why Igbos Will Never Vote For Peter Obi Again In 2027 by stonemasonn: 2:30am On Mar 04, 2023
LocalStandard1:
You're a confused person! I have glanced at your comments and posts for sometime(I don't bother reading, even this nonsense).

You come off as a confused person than a logical one really. The Igbos I know would have supported and voted for Osibanjo, and yes they did vote Obasanjo many times over.

So what are you saying from your first sentence(the only part I read)?

Have the Yorubas in their entire existence ever supported an Igbo person? Have they?
Yet you want them to support a dead wood to proof "they're not hateful".

Which major tribe supported the Igbos as much as they supported the said tribe? Name one!!
Yet they supported the Fulani, twice. They are the ones who lent their voices to Osibanjo when you Yorubas wanted to chew him up for contesting the Presidential primaries.

When Peter Obi comes out by 2027, if he doesn't reclaim his mandate now, the Igbos and we the Christian North will come through for him.

So sukkot, shut your tribally inspired confused hole and enjoy the stolen mandate! Okay?!

Peter Obi is the greatest Nigerian politician today, only him can pull off what nobody else can in Nigeria.
bloody liar. You guys helped Tinubu demarket Osinbajo, calling him names like fake pastor for no reason to the point he couldn't even make second position in the primaries.
We've not forgotten your daily mantra, Igbo presidency or power returns to the North. Unfortunately you played yourselves.

Politics / Re: I Still Blame Peter Obi For The Loss by stonemasonn: 6:11pm On Mar 01, 2023
Brendaniel:

You people dont still get it, even if they formed alliance with Kwankwaso(PDP+LP+NNPP), Tinubu would have still won based on the arrangement he prepared, he was allocating votes to each party and decided the position each party got, so it is not a case of alliance, Peter Obi won the election with a wide margin and PDP came second while APC came 3rd.

Tinubu was not in the election to contest, he was there to allocate votes and declare himself winner, so no matter the alliance anybody formed, Tinubu had a plan ahead, he placed Obi 3rd to mock him and make PDP feel that the result looks legit.

But PDP too is not falling for it.

Tinubu had rigged the election even before it started....
your delusion is top notch.

Saifullah01:
The Christians have done an immeasurable damage to the Nigerian political psyche. They made this election about religion. Note these facts:

There was voters apathy in the north especially among the females.

A sizeable amount of northern votes chose BAT not because they supported him but because they saw how the Christians turned this election about religion.

Mark my words should this election be conducted again the margins of defeat the APC will give the runners up will be wider because the skeptics in the north have seen that this was a calculated assault on them by the Christians and secondly the reserve voter (female who were reluctant to come out) will b activated.

The truth is bitter, but it is what it is
It wasn't supposed to be so. The emergence of Peter Obi and Tinubu's muslim muslim caused it. Look at it objectively, don't blame the Christians. Muslims will do same if it were to be a Christian-Christian ticket.

Politics / Re: "And" It A Conjunction by stonemasonn: 1:59am On Mar 01, 2023
Yes.

But it can still be argued that the act, was just trying to include the FCT with the other states.
So 25% in FCT will also be accepted along with 25% in 23 other states making 24.

Giving APC some expo tongue

Politics / Re: FCT Has SAVED Nigeria Oooooh. by stonemasonn: 1:39am On Mar 01, 2023
It is open to interpretation.

It can simply mean 25% in 23 states + the FCT is acceptable.

Or
2/3rd of all the states + the FCT = 2/3(36+1) which is approximately 25.

Or
2/3×36+1===in this case there'll be a rerun.

This is something no one should be talking about but since Yoruba don't have preservation instinct, I found it necessary.

LP and Peter Obi should get an order from the court to stop further collation of the results pending the determination of the legitimacy of the election process, because evidence shows that the process is marred with high level fraud and therefore illegitimate

What makes the election illegitimate?

What can APC do that they couldn't do to win this election in Lagos?

I think you overestimate their strength without voter backing. wink
You also underestimate the resolve of people with power....they don't relinquish it easily.
LP will need an external force. They should pray Atiku wins else they'll go the way of Mimiko.
