It was a deeply weighed decision as in all probability, it would lead to direct conflict with Iran. They couldn't afford to fail as the conflict with Iran would be for no gains if Ismail Haniyeh lived. *He had to die.*

Israel had vowed to exterminate the head of the hydra headed demon called Hamas after the October atrocity. They knew when Haniyeh would be in Tehran. As Mossad's previous records show, they have never failed to keep their promise.

*The Plot:*

As soon as the green signal was received from David Barnea, the deeply embedded Mossad Agent in Tehran was activated. He knew the plan like the back of his hand and he checked out the equipment he needed. Not much, just a remote activated electronic transmitter on which any aircraft or missile could home in when activated.

Israel knew that placing a bomb or getting a person to shoot Haniyeh was impossible because Haniyeh's residence in Tehran was guarded like the Fort Knox by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

An airstrike by Israeli Airforce fighters was also out of the question as Tehran was a long way off and Israeli aircraft would be spotted by Iranian radars well before they crossed the border and would be eventually shot down. So it had to be something that the Iranian air defence won't be able to spot or defend in time.

The weapon of choice was the *Lockheed ARRW Hypersonic missile.* Capable of Mach 5 speed, (a mile in a second) and double the speed of any fighter aircraft, a weapon whicht no radar will be able to track or missile shield be able to defend. It could carry a lethal war head that could demolish an entire building. The US gifted the missile, which was still in its prototype stage, to Israel for this specific purpose.

The plan was that the Mossad Agent would leave a car parked in front of Haniyeh's residence in Tehran. The old Toyota would have the transmitter hidden in the audio system of the car. The agent would station himself about half a kilometer from the spot and monitor the car through binoculars. He would activate the transmitter by remote as soon as Haniyeh came home. The active transmitter would send the signal to the Israeli missile bunker just beyond the Iranian border and the missile crew would fire as soon as they received the signal. This would ensure that Haniyeh was home when the missile hit.

*The Execution:*

As D-Day arrived, the Mossad agent drove the car to Haniyeh's residence and left it outside. He went back to his perch on the 3rd floor of the building from where he would monitor the car.

As the day progressed, the agent's heart skipped a beat when he saw the guards check out the abandoned car but didn't find anything suspicious in it. There were no explosives packed inside, he had hidden the transmitter well.

Within minutes, Haniyeh arrived after the inauguration of the Iranian President and went straight in. He had a couple of hours to spare before his meeting with the Defence Minister, so he called a private number and asked his Iranian mistress to come over.

He was blissfully unaware that the Mossad agent had already activated the transmitter and a hypersonic missile was screaming towards him at over 6000 kms/hr.

The missile took 16 mins to reach Tehran, 1000 miles away from the Israeli border at Mach 5 speed. It smashed into Haniyeh's residence and reduced Haniyeh to _keema_. The Hamas couldn't even find any human remains to bury their esteemed leader.

*Mission accomplished*

The Demon was dead. Mossad's mission was accomplished and Israel readied for the Iranian+Hamas combined retaliation. As of latest, the Iranian leader Ali Khamenei has called for a massive retaliatory strike on Israel. They are just undecided as to what form it will take, but it will come for sure in the near future! *Long live Israel.*

Not only is himars still part of USA military inventory, it is still in active production and asked for by many NATO allies.
