Ukraine inherited its air defense from the soviet union, indeed in case you didn't know, Ukraine used to be part of the soviet union and the military installations of the soviet union which were in Ukraine SSR (except the nuclear ones) remained in Ukraine after the soviet Union broke up

Iraqi airdefense was so "good" that they were still using AA guns for air defence. The same AA guns which terrorist groups put on trucks and use against infantry.

Iraqi military was starved due to decades of western sanctions on Iraq before the war. Iraqi air defense has never reached that of Ukraine. Ukraine air defense was inherited from the soviet union which was known to be the best in airdefense technology.

2. Russia makes its weapons: fighter jets, tanks, drones, nuclear weapons, submarines, frigates...all; what weapons does Nigeria make (most Nigerian tanks and and attack helicopters are old Russian weapons, even the AK-47 of the Nigerian military is an old Russian weapon)
