So effectively screw Iwobi, Ajayi, Aina ,Aribo, Ebuehi, Balogun, Okoye, Ekong, and anybody else not born in Nigeria.

Are you more Nigerian than them or me for that matter.

What is your bad belle based on huh Your dark ignorant perception , you are worse than bigoted retrogressive tribalistic local village Chief.

You are the quintessential Nigerian problem.

Enthrone mediocrity and select according to tribal prejudices.
Iwobi was born in Lagos

Morocco too is playing poorly.

I am yet to see a well structured team in this AFCON. All the teams are too poor compared to how you see teams structured in the Euros. No cohesion, strikers are isolated, play is disjointed. Any team that is organized will score goals like hell in this tournament.
Algeria is the most compact team in the African continent.

A lot of people have said it here before, a lot of African teams do themselves a lot of disservice by hiring shitty and sib standard national team coaches , whether indigenous or Foreign for their national teams. See senagal with good players but will still struggle against mid European teams for world cup because they have a terrible technical department.
Exactly man. When Aliou Cisse took over, I thought he was the best thing after sliced bread. Turned out he wasn't a good tactician. I used to believe ex internationals understood the team better but that's not it. Senegal needs to sack this coach and get someone with a rich CV and records.

P.S I'm enjoying Senegal in turmoil cheesy, I don't want them to be a significant threat to our eagles grin

Damn. I won't join you in your ethnic slander. You did wrong and you weren't supposed to use those words for a respected personality in our national team. Don't act poorly trained and immatured. I expected better from you as a veteran in this thread. Maybe I expected too much tho

From my observations so far, the entire CAF VAR setup is pretty useless. Here are my reasons:

1. No replay of scenes
2. Lack of quality camera angles. They have just one angle to review a scene which is pathetic and doesn't tell the whole story
3. No clarity and lacks fairness to me
4. No reasons or illustrations shown for final decisions
5. The whole system is subjected to easy manipulation
6. They waste way too much time to review a scene which they end up not displaying for the viewers

CAF did not adequately prepare for this VAR system deployment. They only used a flying camera setup in the opening game yesterday and nothing of such here.

Anyways, there can always be improvements.
Exactly!!!!

Anyways, it's my personal opinion & I used the "might" .. I'm not imposing it or 100% certain but my assessing & the pedigree of this squad...the trophy isn't too far from their grip
Anything is possible tho, no one is ruling Senegal out totally from the top favorites for the trophy. We're saying that Senegal should up their game cos their current style of play makes them look more of a struggling side

Hmmm & you think Mame Thiam or pape sarr are not vital?: I'm not mentioning thiam or so
I don't believe a player plying his trade in Turkey with no remarkables and a 19 year old will turn the fortunes of the Senegalese team in one swoop.
Senegal problem is technical.

Senegal will be more determined whenever it confronts Algeria unlike their last meeting. Bear in mind it's present COVID issue
Of the players that are missing cos of the COVID-19, I do believe that Koulibaly and Mendy are the "most significant" players. Mané played this match, and from the look of things, Senegal still lacks some "spark". The midfield is too stagnant. The attack looks bright but is toothless.

Bruvv, I got nothing against anyone in this faceless thread/forum. I just want us to be honest with ourselves. Y'all like Nigerian brothers and sisters united for a common goal. I.e for our Super Eagles to be successful. If one of our Thread members do wrong, we gotta do the needful, we gotta let him know he's trespassing; i.e insulting our national team captain for that matter. That's what I meant. Never meant any harm. Peace, bruvv.

Senegal might win the tourney
It's probable, but Algeria remains my tournament favorites. Tbh, I don't think our Super Eagles under Rohr could hold its own against this Zimbabwe side but I hope Eguavoen's gon' impress the Nigerian people with some quality football in Gauruoa tomorrow. We don't want him playing too safe against those Egyptian lots.

I will not derail this discourse.

But I want you to consider this analogy, if we got CHILDREN boys from 5 years old in the villages of the south, denied them the right to an education. So they effectively cannot read and write and their educational development non existent.

Locked then in a room and got them to recite and memorise the Bible in Aramaic day in day out. Then when they are hungry they will go out to the streets to beg .

After 10 years of that depraved abuse , would you say they know the bible and understand it.

I have no more to say .
Wow. You're correct tho. I understand your perspective.

is he only the one being called Bastardising herehuh

my man if you Don't like the post, just Jumpam pass, Finito
undecided I'm not a Northerner. I didn't see anyone else called bastard. I only saw someone calling the Captain of the Nigerian football national team a Bastard. Is it appropriate?? No. Is the moniker always talkin ill and actin racist?? Yes. We all Nigerians should always speak the damn truth. Like why tf should I be attacking subzero cos he insulted a Northerner?? I'm pushing this because I'll do same for any other Nigerian who don't deserved to be talked to inappropriately. If someone calls Osimhen a bastard here, everyone will start attacking the person. Stop being bias.
