Joezinho: Ndidi couldn't hide his frustration. His fans are saying he looked calm on the ball , maintained possession , blah blah..
Make we jam country like Cameroon. Nwakali will be so badly exposed. Everybody will get to see he's a wack player.. Imagine frank the Tank on the bench and you are bringing Nwakali into the game..
Dude does not have the energy to play against top level opposition. We will see it soon. Let Eguaveon continue to give him exposure at the expense of our team play. Swears bruvv. Even that shaky Okoye. We aren't being truthful. Cameroon and even Algeria won't miss those chances and runs that Sudan did against us. We still have work to do. That hype we got because we beat Egypt is getting into our heads. The truth is that we improved but Egypt was poor that day if not we'll have ended up with a draw . I'm not taking anything away from the Super Eagles but our attackers need more composure. The Super Eagles are still tournament favorites tho. |

Joezinho: There was a time when Musa or Iwobi was open for a run but Nwakali passed the ball backwards and stalled possession.
That was why ndidi was frustrated with him at a point. Ndidi wanted the 1-2 going forward but he took it backwards.
If you keep making back passes, you put your team under pressure. Exactly. Ndidi was visibly angry and shouting at him. Even Eguavoen wasn't pleased then. I'm not against Nwakali. I can't be against my country's players. We just want merit. |

andrewbaba44: I don’t rate Cameroon
They are the host and are expected to beat Ethiopia Before this match, i didn't because I saw how they conceded early to Burkina Faso. Even when this match started, I was doubtful because of their shaky defense. Right now, I do cos they seem to have understood the problem in the defense and ensured a compact midfield. Look at the speed of their counters and their transitions. They're dangerous. |

Icon4s: You are right bro. Even though just like Onuachu I am not a fan of Sadiq due to theiR lanky nature and clumsy style of play, but I think Sadiq is getting an unfair criticism. How many minutes did he play? We are stuck with this attacking set up For the rest of the AFCON. Let's just watch them and see. Even Awoniyi was average in that game. Exactly, Chief. Sadiq isn't Onuachu. Sadiq contributes to the attack build up. He's not a striker that just stay up and wait for crosses, even though he thrives on crosses too. Check his stats in the Segunda. He has the highest assists amongst all our present Central Forwards. |

nelszx: They were lucky to have won, EG skewed their chances in which they'd have won the game. They are not favorites That match was really a tough one. I do believe if the Ivorians get their tactics right, they'll be able to control the momentum in their remaining games. They got all the players they require to win. |

komekn: One thing I am almost certain 100% Odion Ighalo is absolutely 200% better than Sadiq Umar, EOD. Y'all damn funny. He was having his AFCON debut and Super Eagles first team debut on the same night as a late substitute. This is his first time and all what you peeps do is criticize him as if he played the whole game. Bruvv, you too quick on this criticism shii. You already concluding Ighalo was better than him. Calm down, man. He still got lots of energy in store. He's talented. Sadiq will impress us. |

Another team that has played with seriousness aside Nigeria so far. Exactly! The team got potential. They ain't even playin em' Zaha and Pepe yet. They've technical problems tho. |

Immediately I saw him, I recognized him... The guy good die as ref. I think this is the first time Nigeria won a match under that Gambian refree. He's the same person that officiated the Nigeria Algeria game in 2019 AFCON |
