I regret not traveling out to the US when I had the chance. Very similar to the OPs, it was during my NYSC, I had started the process, gotten everything else, even paid for my interview at the embassy. I had someone in the US back then pulling all the necessary strings. Everything was smooth but I just lost interest in going for the interview when it was time to. Told myself I would round up nysc, get my dream job, then go to the US on holidays without any fuss but here I am 10 years after. This country wrenches my heart everytime. It's so so depressing living in Nigeria

Nigerians should allow govt extend this lockdown by rwo weeks. just imagine after the lockdown in a brt bus in Lagos , how will social distancing work? even with mask the virus will spread at a very high speed. it's better for govt to introduce pallatives now OR ELSE NIGERIANS WILL REGRET IT

You seem to be reasoning with your anus. Just because u either get fed by your parents or will still get ur salary without working, you do not consider other families who depend on their bread from daily hustle. I won't be shocked if your employer denies you your next pay on the thought that no money came in during the lockdown

Don't mind them. Everything about the apartment reeks of greed. 400k for one year in an ordinary room and parlour, 100k to draft an ordinary agreement, 100k to agent because u came online to advertise freely. 50k for what caution? 650k just to live in a room and palour for only one year. This is annoying to say the least.

Nothing more tiring than a woman who nags. I won't be surprised if your mum nagged your father to leave their relationship and remarry. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to stop her from nagging other than relocating and coming back a few years when you have acquired something or started doing something for yourself cos the rate with which you're going, I doubt if you would have time to do anything meaningful for yourself. Take the bull by the horn and relocate. Let her cater for herself while you hustle your way around till you can find a good footing. Best of luck
