Not every cultural belief is superstitious but these days, people jump on modernity to write off beliefs. I think it’ll be in the best interest of the girl’s future for you to discuss this with her father. If he feels it’s nothing, then know you’ve done your part. But pls do not disregard it as nothing. It may turn out to be true or not but it’s best to sort any issues if any before it’s too late

Once dated a girl who only sleeps holding a pillow. Try hard as I did to make her put her head on the pillow,I always wake up to her holding very tight to the pillow.

At first I thought it was spiritual. I mean who holds on to a pillow so tight and firm as if they are choking it?

Later I discovered she and her younger sister fought a lot as kids over pillows,and each would hold on tight to her pillow so the other don't snatch it.

As an adult she still hold the pillow tight.

Ok so I had this argument in my office about the Nigerian Police Force and believe me, I haven’t gotten any satisfactory answer, not even from google lol. So I wanna know, anyone with concreate proof, please state succinctly which group the Nigerian Police Force falls under.

If they truly want to help the poor, they should go to shanties and slumps at ebutte Meta to help the less privileged there as the realest poor people do not have access to internet facility. Stop spamming Nairaland with fraudulent websites

There’s nothing more terrible than a job that breaks you down emotionally. There’s so much advantage working on the island as against the mainland except of course for distance. But you didn’t tell us if this new job is also one-man business cos truth be told the average one man business in Nigeria is modern day slavery. I would advise that you pick up your new job and continue with them, alternatives may come up along the line that could enable you save. All the best man!
