What would happen if road blocks are made illegal? would it increase crime?

mamaput:
Come do you know how the USA take over?
They first drop bombs on civilans.
I sometimes believe they believe in Phoenix arising from the ashes.
That is total destruction and then building up new.
The contracts they awarded in Iraq were fraudulent. The rebuilding of Iraq was payed for, but things went mushy mushy.

US is full of bullcrap. They do 419 on a very grand scale
PoliticsRe: Should The USA Take Over Nigeria? by stranger12: 5:13pm On Jan 11, 2007
hell NO!

USA is not a good example of a good country. The only thing holding US together right now is a solid fabric based on lies and more lies. Lie about economic growth, lie about terrorism, lie about weapon of mass destruction. They even lie that the value of the dollar is improving.

I've never heard the name "Kayin" maybe thats the abbreviated form

well, if its spelt "kayin" then it would be pronounced with the

"a" as in bag
"i" as in eat

but please note that Yoruba is a tonal language

"ka" could mean count, bend or pluck depending on the tone.
CultureRe: Nigerian Baby Names by stranger12: 1:24pm On Jan 09, 2007
its more like spanish.

one good thing, it doesnt change like english were "e" could have two different sounds

there are seven vowels "a" "e" "e" "i" "o" "o" "u"

the keyboard I'm using cant render the sylables properly, the second "e" has a dot under it, the second "o" also has a dont under it

I know we dont have nigeria airways anymore but why do you think nigeria airways cant fly to the US?

we use the "whitemans" airlines because ours are banned from travelling their airspace.

@topic,
the whiteman is not cheating us, most african nations are folish and lack good leadership.

to hit the nail on the head - as a group, the black man is mainly stupid and lack vision
PoliticsUs Launches Air Strike In Somalia by stranger12(op): 10:29am On Jan 09, 2007
US launches air strike in Somalia

The US has carried out an air strike against members of a suspected al-Qaeda cell in a village in southern Somalia.
The targets were reported to have been tracked by aerial reconnaissance and then attacked by a US gunship launched from a US military base in Djibouti.

The US believes al-Qaeda operatives held responsible for the 1998 bombings of US embassies in East Africa have been hiding in Somalia.

The Somali transitional government says many people were killed in the raid.

The air strikes took place a few days after the Union of Islamic Courts, which had taken control of much of central and southern Somalia during the past six months, was routed by soldiers from Ethiopia and Somalia's transitional government.

The US accused the Islamists of having links to al-Qaeda - charges they denied.

There has been no official confirmation from the Pentagon that the air strike took place, but correspondents say a statement is expected within hours.

Somalia's interim President Abdullahi Yusuf backed the US action.

"The US has a right to bombard terrorist suspects who attacked its embassies in Kenya and Tanzania," he said in Mogadishu, a day after entering the city for the first time since the Islamists withdrew.

The bombing is the first overt military action by the US in Somalia since the 1990s and the botched intervention - known as Black Hawk Down - in which 18 servicemen died.

'Opportunistic attempt'

The attack was carried out by an Air Force AC-130, a heavily-armed gunship that has highly effective detection equipment and can work under the cover of darkness.

One report says the US attack took place on Monday afternoon on Badmadow island, in an area known as Ras Kamboni on the southern tip of the country close to Kenya's border.

After fierce fighting, Ethiopian and Somali forces said on Monday that they were on the verge of capturing Ras Kamboni, one of the Islamist's last strongholds, where many fighters are now said to be cornered.

Many other Islamist fighters are in hiding.

The BBC's Adam Mynott in Nairobi says the attack seemed to be an opportunistic attempt by the US to destroy an al-Qaeda cell that they had been tracking for some time.

The cell is believed to be behind the 1998 bombings of the US embassies in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, and Dar Es Salaam, in Tanzania.

More than 250 people died in the two attacks.

The US also holds the same group responsible for attacks on an Israeli aircraft and Israeli-owned hotel in Kenya in 2002, in which 15 people died.

Meanwhile, the US military said on Tuesday it had sent an aircraft carrier to join three other US warships conducting anti-terror operations off the country's coast.

PoliticsRe: Is This Going To Happen? -- Atiku to be Disqualified! by stranger12: 11:16am On Jan 03, 2007
Dear Forum Users, I will like you to analyze this hypothetical scenario

What would happen today if OBJ suddenly dies?

Will Atiku take over as president under the PDP umbrella and yet be a flag bearer of another party?

The rule that governs the president governs the VP too and I think Atiku is trying to drum the sympathy beat because of a third term that OBJ denies being involved with.

Do not mis inform the public by feeding them some excerpts from GB.

The British practice parliarmentary democracy while we practice presidential system. . .

I am ashamed that you attacked sbucareer after he did a "cut and paste" from the Nigerian Constitution of 1999 the only valid constition on which this federation is based
PoliticsRe: Census Results Out - More Males Than Females by stranger12: 4:03pm On Jan 02, 2007
some people have been screaming on top of their voices that their home town is indeed big, based on the concentration of people.

High population density is not the only determinant factor of overall population, the overall size of your state also matters.

You most likely live in a linear settlement if the street in front of your house is bustling with people but your backyard and also your uncle's backyard is a forest.

Women are fewer possibly because

PoliticsRe: Is It Democratic For Obj To Denies Atiku Presidential Jet? by stranger12: 11:35am On Dec 25, 2006
@ all
you clamour for democracy without knowing what it means.

There are a set of rules to follow -  1999 Constitution is what must be adhered to.

Atiku is technically no longer the VP. The constitution states that the VP and President should be of the same party. Atiku is no longer in PDP since he is the flag bearer of another party.

Crude Oil is NIR

The whole world wants crude oil and we cant turn that into an advantage? we cant even dictate trade?

if you have'nt got a NIR you cannot sustain trade. so where are you going to get the materials to build the wonderful things you just listed cool
Here in Africa, we have raw materials and buy finished products.
Cant we start building industries to produce the finished products?
PoliticsRe: Dollar's Value Is Falling Fast by stranger12(op): 10:39am On Dec 21, 2006
thanks for that reply Jakumo,

I'm against building up revenue instead of assets. I am not an economist but I strongly believe it would benefit Nigeria more if attention is paid to the basic things we lack. Man is no angel, there are lots of corrupt officials worldwide, UK & US has a fair share of them. Its not just the pocketing alone, its a lack of vision.
PoliticsDollar's Value Is Falling Fast by stranger12(op): 1:14am On Dec 21, 2006
As a country, what will happen to our 40billion dollars in foreign revenue in the event of a collapse in US economy? It  happened in the 80's and we suffered for it.

Do we need that much savings even though we have a very liquid cash (black gold)?
Who gains from our savings? We or the country were they are saved?

a rich man is not rich if he has no assets even though he has 3 million in his bank account.

We need to start building assets today

We need world class

Universities
Good electricity network
Road Network
Research Institutes funded by the government
Mechanized farming

. . . these are assets not some dummy figures to keep the developed world further away from the brink of collapse
