TeraHawks: YOUR UNCLE HAS NOT TOLD YOU THE TRUTH.
YOU THINK ITS EASY TO JUST GET A JOB IN THE US?
IS IMMIGRATION LAWYER FREE OR EVEN CHEAP?
IS THE ASYLUM PROCESS THAT EASY THAT YOU JUST APPLY AND INSTANTA YOU GET TEMPORARY ASYLEE STATUS?
GETTING A CAR IN THE US IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE EASIEST THINGS TO DO COS 2ND HAND CARS ARE CHEAP, ESPECIALLY THE OLDER ONES, SO THATS NOT REALLY AN ACHIEVEMENT. THE LAND HE BOUGHT IN NAIJA, WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE LAND? I CAN BET IS ONE OF THOSE LAND DEEP INSIDE BUSH.
AMBULANCE IS NOT LIKE WE SEE IN THE MOVIES OH. IT TAKES TIME TO ARRIVE, THATS THE FIRST SHOCKER. THEN YOU PAY FOR THE TRIP TO HOSPITAL. IM SURE HE DOESNT HAVE INSURANCE SO HE IS LUCKY THEY TOOK HIM IN AS AN EMERGENCY CASE OTHERWISE HE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN TREATED. ALSO, KIDNEY STONE IS NOT INSTANTLY FATAL; HOSPITALS IN NAIJA HANDLE SUCH ROUTINELY.
ABROAD IS NOT HEAVEN...LOOK VERY WELL BEFORE JUMPING BECAUSE ANOTHER PERSON JAPA IS NOT YOUR OWN JAPA.
IF YOU ARE WILLING TO WORK AS HARD IN NAIJA, YOU WILL MAKE IT HERE AS WELL.
THE MAJOR CONSOLATION FOR DOING HARD MENIAL JOBS ABROAD IS THAT THERE IS SOME DIGNITY OF LABOUR THERE, PLUS WHEN YOU CONVERT THE MONEY TO NAIRA, YOU FEEL A SENSE OF CONSOLATION.
MOST TIMES, AWON ABROAD PEOPLE DO NOT TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH ABOUT THEIR SITUATION AND I THINK IT IS REALLY BAD OF THEM.
ABROAD IS FOR YOU IF
1. YOU HAVE NOTHING IN NAIJA 2. YOU ARE SINGLE 3. YOU ARE BELOW 30YRS
SELAH Now the part that really caught my attention was the car part. I'm into the car business and I want to know more about some of this cheap cars and again the accidented once over there. If they is anyone over there that is interested in such business and have relative based in abuja then we can talk on the way forward. Thank youm |

babajeje123: See, I didn't want to talk initially but I felt some people here are misleading others. The best decision you can ever make in your life is to leave Nigeria. I left in February and I have not had a day of regret. I borrowed money to leave and sold properties and I tell you that I'm almost done repaying. I don't know what you guys mean by good jobs in Nigeria with the kind of inflation of prices of commodities at the moment. Some talked about bills, but you didn't mention that you will have uninterrupted power and water supply, stable internet connection etc and all of these are pay as you go. If God gives you the privilege of leaving Naija, please don't hesitate. Which country are you in? |

He builds and sells houses here and his wife got a very good business there.

ShotCaller: Good Morning Guys!
Truth be told. There is No where like home. There will always be more freedom at home. However the main ingredients to being human are not readily available in Nigeria.
No light, security, affordable housing health care, you name it. Even basic opportunity.
I left Nigeria after my you service many years Ago. I lived in Europe, and North America. Withness great difference in quality of life
Every one has a reason for leaving. I will never judge. However I feel if you think you are highly gifted in business, music or other hussle. Nigeria is the place.
But professional minded guys can try there luck outside. I was very unhappy in North America. My family thought I was mad for return. It took me about 5 to 6 years of destitution to rebound and being financially okay. I'm doing very fine now. I'm really really greatfull to God that I did return even after trying to.
I can afford to take my family on a trip abroad once a year and I employ over 20 people that work for me. Maybe I'm wrong. But I don't think I could have done it like that abroad.
The 20 richest Nigerians are based in Nigeria. The 20 biggest artist are based here. Even the doctors are working for people over there. While the rich doctors in Nigeria work for themselves.
My only and major issue honestly is insecurity.
God will make each and everyone find his calling and prosperous.
But remember, MORE PROBLEMS MEANS MORE OPPORTUNITIES!
Stay Focused, Stay Blessed! You will never know more about a place until you actually visit the place. Anyways my name is philz and I'm into automobile and based in Abuja. You can check @philznnona on twitter. I'm actually looking for someone that is either based in abroad or have friends in abroad. I did like to know if we can go into business of accidented cars over there which can be shipped down here then I do the selling while returning the money after sell. I won't be easy but man just have to try. |

His wives and kids are here... FOR NOW. Wow! Abeg oooh if he is interested in anything cars especially accidented car I will be interested if we can talk. |

Coldie: The job I do abroad. Is far better than any job I ever did in Nigeria.
To make matters even better the pay and work load is better.
The job I do abroad is almost equivalent to me doing nothing and getting paid. Anyways I just wanted to ask out of curiosity, which part of the abroad are you based because I'm actually looking for someone I can do business with. I'm into cars and based in Abuja. @philznnona is my twitter handle if you are interested I did like you to go through it. Thanks. |

jesmond3945: Abroad is sweet but comes with a price. If you want to hammer you must be I repeat you must be in the medical field or ICT field. If you are not in these fields, any job you are doing is slavery. You are actually working for the system. If you are sending money back home, you can buy land but it would take sometime to build. Your counterparts in Nigeria would hustle, build house, marry with kids, buy cars just with one breakthrough while you are slaving away and collecting hatred aka racism on top. That's why our guys bulk under pressure and start doing BEC scam. This is one thing I have noticed. Seems like most people I know that are based in abroad are either in the ICT or medical line. |

dustydee: I sometimes regret moving abroad. God has been faithful to me and my family. Since we moved, I have not worked any menial job and own my own house and relatively comfortable but something about Nigeria keeps ringing in my head. May be it's where I come from (In the North), my people are generally not keen on living abroad indefinitely. I haven't moved back because I am yet to find something comparable to what I left before moving but I will start working on it in the coming months. Which part of the world are you? |

KosiGee: Why would anyone leave Nigeria to travel to countries like Cyprus, Malta, Greece for greener pasture?? That’s insane.
You only visit those places for tourist reasons. Abroad to me means US, Uk, Canada then France and Germany if you can overcome the linguistic barriers.
I went to Athens and I was filled with sadness seeing many Nigerians jobless and frustrated. You’d see them at Syntagma square with drums. Those are beautiful places if you are a tourist. Lots of archeological sites to visit and learn but never places for the average Nigerian to emigrate to. Just like they say, information is power. |

Car Talk › Re: What Is The Difference Between OEM And Aftermarket Auto Parts? by Stricklybidness(m): 8:25am On Feb 02, 2021 |
sultaan: Some people here are mixing up their perception of the auto industries when it come to parts. No car company ; 1. Can afford R& on all car components. 2. Makes all components. 3. Exists without vendors
Those vendors are the manufacturers of aftermarket parts.
Car parts is a numbers game, by law if you make any component in the US you have to make the spec available for others to make so people who need it in other parts of the world don't have to come to you, that is how patent and licensing works.
Companies like Bosch and Delphi(http://delphi.com/) might develop a better electrical system than the one currently on cars so they start selling it on the market and the automakers adopt it, or the manufacture outsource parts to vendors(the make parts to carmaker spec with carmaker logo on it)e.g Jaguar, for engines, Bently, BMW engines, Lots of carmakers use Aisin transmissions. Its better/cheaper to make one component that fits into a dozen models than a dozen models that use specific parts and even cheaper when its made by someone else to fit multiple manufacturers and this is where we use service parts.
When it comes to service parts like brakes, filters, lubricants, tires, suspension components, and sensors. Cars are made to use components available in the market.GM,Ford, and Toyota are not in the brake business so they use parts made by Wagner, Brembo, Federated etc. same for shocks, lights, tires, exhaust, bearings etc.
There are specialized part of the car that need a different type of vendors and sometimes collaboration between auto makers, like the differential, transfer case, entertainment system for these you need companies like Dana, Bose, karma kardon, new venture gear(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Venture_Gear)
There is a lot more involved in the field than you average mechanic(adviser) can ever imagine. So true. |

There is but you will have to go through mubi, then askira uba and then demboa before landing in Maiduguri. Not advisible to go through that route. |
