DaddyFreeze2020: Both Tinubu and Shettima are capitalising on the efforts of their successors to campaign for Presidency.
Tinubu capitalises on Fashola and Ambode's efforts to develop Lagos State while Shettima is using Gov. Zulum's projects in Borno State.
Many of the projects in Lagos State BAT campaign team uses to campaign for BAT were not developed by Bola Tiinubu. That's the same campaign template Shettima wants to also use. Lol, then you know nothing about Borno or Shettima. |

How many religions are dominant?
How many businesssmen are influential?
How many royal houses are in the state?
How many ex generals are in anambra who still have influence?
How are the citizens carried along in governance?

I see a lot of folks taunting Shettima for his supposed 'unfriendly corporate dressing', it seems though that almost all those doing such do not know who the man is.
Kashim was a banker (reached branch managerial rank), a lecturer, a commissioner in 3 different ministries and eventually, a governor and currently a senator and when those folks started hearing his name.
Man is fulfilled in both public and private sectors. Most of you shouting corporate can't lace his shoes in the corporate world you so much make noise about.

Good day all,
I just got the invite to write the aptitude test from FMN and would like to get information regarding this program: how long does it last, what's expected of trainees, what shall we undergo, I studied ICT related course - what possible role may I have, what's their payment structure like, do they require their trainees to sign a bond like agreement? and others.
Please, if you have experience or you know someone who does, do well to share it with us.
Thanks. |

Agboriotejoye: All this does not remove from the fact that importation is killing our Naira. For example, we all blame govt for not doing enough to encourage businesses. Yet someone like Peter Obi with all his connections and reach can't think of opening a tomato processing plant in Nigeria with the tonnes of tomato that go to waste every year. Instead, he prefers to import finished goods from other countries thereby making Nigeria a dumping ground for foreign goods. Why can't Peter Obi open a tomato processing plant in Nnewi? How will he move us from consumption to production when he's one of the biggest enablers of our consumption affliction? Avoid PO fans for your own sanity. |

Asour: IF Atiku wins, your estimations would be right BUT Wike feels he should be accorded some respects (I don't Support him) because he led Rivers to win for Atiku in 2019 ! One of the biggest states PDP won.
He felt (probably) that he should count for something. Him not being picked for VP does not mean end of road for him, but he is trying very hard to lose even the small leverage he has. 2019 is gone, 2023 is a different ball game with different permutations and realities, PDP may end up not needing upto 500k votes from rivers, which by tradition and allies of PDP apart from him in the state, the party may get, and he would have closed every door on himself. |

Something Wike can learn from him. And then what if atiku wins? Even of he has the governorship, his own candidate might flip and he will become another amaechi albeit for him, there won't be federal cover. Atikus choice of overlooking wike for the VP position was his best after picking the ticket, this guy would have soiled that ticket with his madness. |

PrinceMajestic: I'm a Deltan who love rarara so much. Any of he song must sweet me, all his bits are similar and the way he play with words and the hausa girls with sweet voice that does chorus for him. I love all his songs especially those ones he sang in 2019 for Buhari, even though I dislike Buhari govt I can't stop listening to rarara songs like Su da lukutin sin kife, sati guda, mushin ga next level, sai koguna, Ba Fada Bane ba etc. Rarara is crazy with his bits I swear, my people in delta find it odd why I like him because they didn't live in North to know rarara songs well. Rarara is the best northern musician followed by Umar m Shariff. Any rarara song na blast! I love the guy so much But that jagaban song was very uncharacteristic of him, he just kept singing jagaba jagaba without any strong verses, buhari dodar from 2019 was in its own class, a rarara in his element. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria Origin Of Quota System Assistance As Far Back As 1954 by SU50: 9:39am On Aug 17, 2022 |
stuffs4me: The story was written by a southerner with a biased mind towards northerners.
The northerners had a different account of what happened at the time.
The British was trying to subjugate the Muslim north while favouring a Christian south but they had to re address the situation when they found out it was leading to disaster as the northerners had sensed the plot. Which explains why there were hardly any Muslim south being commissioned at the time.
cc: AfonjaFula Heard Sunusi at different forum saying that there were policies (documented) where the British didn't want to educate northerners till they shed their Islamic identity which northerners refused (part of the reason a lot of northern parents then used to equate western education as leaving Islam hence stopping their kids from acquiring it), it was what lead to the creation of MSSN (Muslim Student Society of Nigeria, where the founders were forced to drop their Islamic sounding names for western ones, they were denied admission into schools because they were muslims and a lot of their identity), it wasn't till a few years to independence that Sardauna and other northern leaders sensed the plot (hence he said at a point the north was not ready for independence then, its either independence is shifted forward or the north pulls of the union called Nigeria which the east and west fought as they had they headstart against the north in everything education and military, it was an opportunity for them to lord it over the north but eventually, independence had to be postponed to the chagrin of the two sides) after which Sardauna started a massive education and military drive all over the north, at a point it got to taking children forcefully away from parents who had that initial notion. Nigerian history has always been about each side looking after its own interest, in some cases, the overall interest, whenever you hear on side(especially down south) crying foul, its very likely they just are not the ones in control. |

citygarden: When all was good with Atiku, wike, kwankwaso, peter Obi, and this south east governor I forget his name are in PDP, their forces didn't defeat them. The reason why peter Obi is trending is because the president most come from the south. That's the reason wike is still bitter with PDP today. Atiku shouldn't have come to the race to contest. Like I said, PDP put its best foot forward, they are winning election (which Atiku represent), not keeping to an idealist zoning formula that may see them continue in opposition - self preservation. Who could they have presented from the south that can stand against APCs candidate (Tinubu, Osinbajo or Amaechi with majority of the north behind any of them), tell me? Wike? Ikpeazu? Makinde? Peter Obi? APC groomed southerners to take over, PDP has no one in the south. A southern candidate for PDP meant defeat before 4pm on election day and 4(or years of opposition, the party can't bear that. |

Politics › Re: Shekarau Set To Dump NNPP For PDP As Atiku Dangles ‘mouth-watering Offers’ by SU50: 8:12pm On Aug 16, 2022 |
citygarden: This is the worst time to aligned with PDP because of their 1. internal political crisis, The north have rules for 8 years, the best time for Atiku was 2019 election. 2. Shakau should stay in nnpp while they formed the party like regional party for now. By 2027 they would have governor, senator etc. They can now marge with another party in the west to form a formidable party that can win. Like what tinubu and buhari did in 2015. The 2023 election, Atiku will not get the type of vote he got 2019. 1. You mean the wike induced crisis? That would be resolved latest before this year ends. Wike dosent have many options, align with APC? Amaechi and co are waiting for him there - he might get his governorship(it might even lead to implosion of APC at that state level) but he won't make much impact on presidential. Realistically, Lp dosent stand a chance, so he is stuck with PDP, he will just try to get a few concessions, nothing more. 2. Right now, the momentum is with PDP, heavyweights disenchanted with APC are moving to PDP, the only crisis in the party - or what seems like a crisis is the wike issue. PDP put its best foot forward in atiku because they are after winning election not keeping an idealist zoning formula that would see them continue being in opposition, and the heavyweights within the party (north and south understand that). |
