charlesemeka85: which implies that ndah is better than bassey and akpoguma this season so far which is mere fallacy
Una never see anything the main wailing is imminent Nna we are in for a long run, the fact that he just canceled ALL of them except Okoye and Aribo shows there's no objectivety in what he does |

Danielnino00: I dropped you the post from Jhiday were it's been alleged that the list is 90% from Rohr... U still dey yarn
Rohr didn't find Bassey worthy enough to play under him, but u wan dey blame Eguavon..
So pathetic You have been finding useless excuses since afternoon to discredit Bassey but it's unfortunate that none of them even makes sense |

charlesemeka85: I am not surprised with the way Austin twisted the list just to accommodate few of his Favourites or I will say those that their agents were able to play along the 9ja way because no right thinking coach will include a nwakali who’s last official assist and goal in Europe was last season also dropping an ever present akpoguma in the bundesliga for ndah abi Idah that plays in South Africa
I can’t wait for the afcon to start I swear A coach who received a 37 man list and his first decision was to remove Ebuehi, Dessers, Akpoguma, Bassey imagine if he was given the freedom to draw his own list from scratch, we are in trouble |

Rohr submitted a 37 man list, Eguavoen trimmed it to 28 man list removing our foreign born talents who deserve to be on the list based on merit, twist it as much as you want it doesn't remove the truth |

andrewbaba44: Ebuehi has been injured mostly this season for your info ,so I can use that as an excuse ,he wasn’t even on rohr last squad
Collins has always been on the team for long ,Ebuehi presence has never stopped Collins from being on the team ,so why do you think it will stop him now
You are blind again concerned shehu so I will remind you ,what is shehu doing on that team ? Ebuehi has made 13 appearances this season so where did you get injured for most of the season from? |

Danielnino00: And you think it makes sense to say Bassey would have made the final list of a local coach isn't in charge when he was literally invited for one international window, sang some songs and went back to Rangers... Interestingly it was during the period that he became more regular at Rangers that he was dropped by the same Rohr for the last group games... So much gibberish to say you don't have the list |

You are trying to make it sound like Bassey was a regular in the Same under Rohr and Eguavon has come to kick him out because he is foreign born... SMH! You know it makes no sense to say that Bassey was not included in the 40 man list that's why you are deflecting, show me your 40 man list I am waiting! |

They even said it's 37 man list... Bassey has started every match since he was invited in our 23 man list yet he can't make a 40 man list, I'll like to see your list |

That's my guess sha Repeat that to yourself and see if it makes sense |

Danielnino00: You are being hypocritical... Rohr was benching Ebuehi for Shehu...Same way he was benching Aina for Collins... He brought in Akpogunma, then used him a RB and dumped him on the bench.. He called Bassey and didn't give him any minutes . Suddenly it's Eguavon that's trimming them from the squad .. Are u sure Bassey was even in the initial list? Remember the list was submitted by Rohr... Rohr was inviting Bassey in 23 man lists yet he can't make a 40 man list and I'm the one being hypocritical |

Danielnino00: So what role do u want Bassey to play in the SE? CB of LB? I like Ebueh a lot....But that Argentina game was 4 years ago..it's old news... Ebuehi hasn't really done enough this season to merit a recall if we are to be honest...
This is Bassey's breakthrough season for Rangers..he need it.... Like I said, he should wait for his time...there's no need to rush... Ebuehi has done much compared to Shehu or Jamilu Collins? |

Danielnino00: Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. Sequel to my post yesterday where I expressed my intention to take over the responsibility of organising the annual Nairaland Nigeria Football award as requested by Icon4s this year, I'm glad to announce that the award would go ahead as planned, and I'll be coordinating it with Drklever.
Four people from this thread will join the nomination committee alongside me and Drklever, with icon4s being a honorary member.
On this note, members of the thread are to nominate 3 monikers they wish to be part of the committee. Unlike how it was previously done where we would nominate only one moniker, I suggest we nominate 3 each so as to make it more flexible and have more people nominated. Here's how the nomination selection will be sorted; 3 points would be awarded to the first name nominated, 2 points to the second and 1 point to the last. Example: I nominate Danielnino00, Drklever and icon4s. in this case, Danielnino00 will have 3 nomination point, Drklever will have 2 and icon4s will have 1. At the close of the nomination process, the 4 monikers with the most points will be added to the committee. Any moniker that's selected to the committee but doesn't wish to participate for any reason whatsoever will be replaced by the another one from below the top 4. Nomination starts now and close on Monday, December 27th 2021.
Thank you. I nominate Kog45 TheGoodJoe Andrewbaba44 |

TheGoodJoe:
You don't know more about the players than Rohr who has lived, trained, worked with the players, advised them, know some of their personal challenges and worked with the players to improve their games. He has coached these players for five years and you feel you know more about them than him, when you have never met them? Oga he invited 3 natural midfielders for a tournament like Afcon, and has continually jampacked the SE with redundant defenders and Strikers for years despite the myriad of midfielders staring at him, playing players out of position, starting poor players while the best players are on the bench, He may know more about their personal challenges but he is handicapped in the football aspect of things |

TheGoodJoe:
I hate Pinnick. Like seriously. Is it not on this thread I was explaining why I support Pinnick's decision to get in the likes of Kanu and Okocha into the coaching crew setup because of the attitude of players?
Will I do that if I hate him? I don't like his complex and some of his thought patterns. Not that I hate him.
By the way, Jose Morais worked with Mourinho for long and in tough games Jose always opts for negative set up..
Morais has worked with Mourinho for long and idolises him. So he prepared different teams negatively a lot with Mourinho.
That is why I suspect he is a negative coach. Okay.
Now do you think it is because I hate Pinnick? Ok let's say you don't hate Pinnick but you prefer the fraud Aminu Maigari to him, and about being Mourinho's assistant where is it written that assistant's must have the same football ideologies of their boss, Arteta was under Guardiola for many years yet had a distinct football ideology from him, Carrick was under Ole for years yet set a completely different formation on his first match, I'm not really bothered about his style of play given that he has been successful in places he has been as far as he can transfer his successes as a manager to the SE, carry on! |
