The major problem in a 4-4-2 formation is risking being overun in midfield, those that watched leicester vs chelsea would have observed that without tielemans in that game leicester really struggled in that game as neither ndidi or soumary could control the tempo of the game, until maddison was subbed in...so for us to be effective with that formation we would need a cm who can control the tempo of the game, make tackes and be a good ball progressor.. Presently i dont think any of our cm has that skill set..
I also dont think a mid pairing of ndidi-aribo would be effective in a 4-4-2 formation
My major problem with 4-4-2 is that it pushes wingers into midfielders and it just puts you in a defensive mode automatically

Lol wetin u expect before?
4-4-2 isnt bad if you have technically sound midfielders, also the overload on the wings is an added advantage, personally i feel its a nice formation if we get a good cm to pair ndidi..
Iheanacho/iwobi as ss
Ejuke and samu on both flanks, oshimen wouldnt be short of supplies
We literally don't have a midfielder that can play 4-4-2 and 4-4-2 is being phased out in the modern game

Guy, no need to parade shut ups, cos no matter how you want to coat it, even down to me being ignorant about deals, we both know that was one deal that shows the level of acumen oga P has in his sleeves. Oh c'mon, spare me the cr7 talk. Its not comparable.
Ok I am sorry for telling you to shut up, but Nike shirt contracts are not something that is haggled like market products, it is generally known that the producing company gets the lion share and the brand gets a compensation, how is it not comparable to Man U's shirt sales do you know that Nike made over 200 million from Cr7 shirt sales and Man U made a measly 13 million, no be today shirt contracts start to say that Pinnick was swindled like he was a kid

This is a good one. Its the short-sighted thinking that makes it look less reasonable. Life Insurance?
If you don't know about business deals just shut up, imagine you calling Nike shirt contact unreasonable, Man U made only 13million Euros from all the Cr7 shirt sales and noise maybe you were expecting Nike and Nigeria to share the money 50:50 business mogul undecided

I'd have preferred a Brazilian for a tweak. European offer us nothing to fall back on since we've been relying on them for a while.

Once again, if true, our NFF crew reason like LGA football club owners.
Brazilian coach? Do you know any reputable Brazilian coach, Europe is still the best when it comes to coaches

There's no need debating. As at today, the EPL is the best league in the world. And being best is not static. In the 90's it was the Italian league. Some few years back, it was the Spanish league. While the EPL has always been highly competitive, today it is the best and poor officiating in one or two games will not take that away.

So the Nike deal that many are using to praise Amaju for Marketing the NT brand is actually another own goal?

$3.5m to Nff but Nike use am chop $300m.

So dem carry dem l'andicap? grin grin grin

Acumen la class. Biggest cashout of Escobar Class.
How much do you think Nike pay clubs for shirt contracts? Nike produces and sells the shirts the SE are only paid for handing out their brand privileges

Evans and Soyuncu were the CB's.
Ndidi featured as a DM.

So you saw Ndidi in that match and concluded he was a CB, because you already have concluded in your head where his best position should be.

Do you know the work of a DM?
So his positioning and movements in that match, was that of a CB to you?
Evans pulled up early in the match and Ndidi replaced him as CB, try dey watch match na
