komekn: I want to presume you have come across the phrase "Changing the goal posts"
You made an unequivocal statement implying that Balogun has never been on the bench when Calvin has been playing CB;
"Bassey has never played CB while a fit Balogun was on the bench"
Don't you have Integrity, the diction used is NEVER.
I could add that on several occasions Balogun did not even make the bench. Since Van Bronkhurst became Manager Calvin has not missed one league game. Seems you lack comprehension issues equally, look at the statement I made 'Bassey has never played CB while a fit Balogun was on the bench' every word there has a function, then you went to misrepresent my word out of lack of understanding or mischievousness, did Balogun's presence on the bench after a bout of injury means fitness to you or you don't know the procedures of easing players back to fitness, I suggest you brush up on your English language and football procedures before embarrassing yourself next time |

komekn: I have already posted a few screen shots to substantiate the position.
Giovanni Van Bronkhurst became Manager of Rangers on the 18th of November 2021. It's quite remarkable because under Gerrard Calvin was about 3/4 in line for CB.
Immediately Van Bronkhurst made Calvin first choice CB, Calvin had not been dropped once he has played every league game .
Meanwhile Balogun even when fit is not first choice CB . although Calvin is more versatile as he can play as a LB as well. When Van Bronkhurst was made manager, Balogun was injured only Goldson and Calvin Bassey were the available center backs, when Balogun recovered he took over from Bassey the screenshots you posted made it very clear the matches Balogun were on the bench and Bassey playing were Balogun's first matches back from injury, if you scroll further down you would have realized that Balogun started the next matches |

andrewbaba44: He was fit for those games he didn’t player though ,because he played 90 minutes at the previous games ,I just see it as normal rotations
Bassey is first choice LB right ? Which previous game did he play 90 mins? And Bassey is Rangers second choice LB |

andrewbaba44: A fit balogun was on the bench during Celtic vs Rangers And Aberdeen vs Rangers
That doesn’t mean bassey is benching him sha ,balogun is 34 and injury prone so small rotations no bad That's what I said na, there is a reason I said 'fit' if you check well those were his first matches back from injury and he started the next match against Hearts, Bassey is Rangers 4th choice CB behind Goldson, Helander and Balogun |

drDoom3: He has.
Let me rephrase it. Since Bassey picked form, Balogun has never benched him. If Balogun plays, Bassey gets moved to LB because that’s his actual natural position. Bassey has never played CB while a fit Balogun was on the bench, you can tell me the match if you've seen it |

Bassey is the BEST defender we have right now. No cap. Nobody comes close. Not even Balogun. Bassey is a good young defender but he is not even in Balogun's league |

Awaziem - Turkish league - Rated number 20 Omeruo - Segunda Division Collins - Bundesliga 2
Calvin Bassey - Scottish premier League rated number 9 in Europe.
Calvin Bassey Transfer interest multiple clubs in Europe top three league including the EPL.
Look at the mirror and you will see who is the big **** Look at what I canceled, Bassey has never benched a fit Balogun at Rangers |

komekn: In that regard he is in a better league than Awaziem, Omeruo, Collins, and has already benched Balogun at his club.
So the matter is settled.
Bassey has to be in the team in the HERE and NOW. No he hasn't, atleast make research before making a fool out of yourself |

Its a vice versa thing as well. No country training can teach wingers to cross the ball they didn't learn at their clubs |

13large: Eguavoen should simply train his wingers to practice accurate crosses incase ghana decide to pack the bus. Imagine chukwueze, simon or lookman delivering sweet crosses to osimehn or Dennis. I believe that’s one of the antidote to “packing the bus” Wetin dem no train them for club you can't give what you don't have, I found that a way to curb selfishness in wingers is to play them in their natural side i.e (a right footed player plays on the right side of the pitch) that way they have no option than to cross |
