Days later, I have been busy rounding up my lectures with the senior secondary school students, set to take the West Africa Examination. I had stopped teaching my landlady's daughters, Moyo, and Bisola. Though, they still come around me to assist them with difficult topics. That morning, while walking towards the corper's lodge, I met Mercy one of our colleagues standing with Chuks. They were busy checking stuff on the phone. When Mercy saw me, she quickly came in my direction, requesting for my iPhone to take pictures. Maybe she had no idea I no longer have it. I looked closely at Chuks who was trying to find his way out of the scene after he caught a glimpse of my presence. I was ready to talk to him at that moment. "My phone is not here." I answered Mercy, and she busy herself back with something else. "Guy, let's see." I said to Chuks for the first time, who was already walking away. He looked back at me and walked somewhere separated from others' listening ears. "wetin dey sup between you and my landlady?" I gently inquired about the relationship he is having with my landlady. "I do understand! Which kind of question be that?" He replied, sounding rude and unaware. I looked closely, and on him was the iPhone my landlady bought for me. "Can I see something?" I collected the phone and confirmed it to be the very iPhone my landlady took from me that very day. I smiled and said: "She gave you my phone." "What phone?" Chuks asked arrogantly. I was already getting angry with the outcome so far. I wanted it cool but obviously, I was losing it already. Why will this guy be going after all that is mine? First, it was Rose, and now my landlady. I held the iPhone and refuse to return it to him. "Give me, I want dey go." He said, requesting I return it to him. I stepped a few meters away and he quickly came behind me trying to snatch the phone from my hand. I resisted and he pushed me. At that point, I lost it all and gave him a befitting blow on his face. The blow contained all the anger in my heart, including that of Rose that he made me suffer. The betrayal and backstabbing were so sufficient in the blow I dashed him that he staggered and almost found himself on the ground. At that point, when he bounced back, he rushed to throw a returning punch when I defended it and the iPhone fell on the ground. I hurriedly picked it up and noticed the screen was badly damaged. He buckled the collar of my shirt and we began to fight and threw different punches on ourselves. Fellow youth corpers who were preparing for the day quickly rushed out to separate us, including staff of the school who just walked into the school premises. When we were separated, our clothes were rumpled and I could feel some pain around my body due to the blows I had received from him. Though, he will also feel mine too. "You Chuks! I will deal with you." I screamed, breathing very tough after the battle with him. I rushed to attack him again after finding him alone, but colleagues held me back not to. "You are a devil. Come and have the phone let me see." I said to him. "Guy, calm down what happened?" Mercy and some person asked immediately when they saw how fierce my words and eyes were. I couldn't reply to them instantly and kept breathing heavily. Chuks was busy explaining to others. I didn't listen to what he told them about what led to the fight. I checked around to find if something fell from me unknowingly while fighting. "Ask that b@stard who was asking my girlfriend for s#x. How he went my back with my landlady." I said to them who were still asking me what Chuks did that led to the fight. Every one of them was shocked when they heard me say so. I guessed they knew we were fighting because of women. And most of them began to leave at once. I made up myself back, fixing the detach button of the cloth I wore, and left the lodge with my rumpled shirt to my apartment. Facts are up and running, the Labour Party Presidential candidate will emerge victorious in the upcoming general election. Here are some notable facts to look out for. 1). The Redesign Of the Naira Notes. From all indication, redesigning of the naira notes should be the last thing on the table of this administration, or the last they should think about in a time like this. The whole thing is emanating just to ruffle the chances of the APC presidential candidate, since the Cabals in the Buhari administration are not throwing their weights on Tinubu's presidential bid. Although, the purpose isn't to make Peter Obi win, but to effectively work against Asiwaju who is perceived - capable and juggling to buy the whole northern votes just the way he did in the primary election after he disagreed a consensus candidate in Ahmed Lawan. The Cabals are indirectly supporting Atiku who they have agreed to after he won the 2019 presidential election but decided to step aside. Hence, the only way to do this is to hurdle the naira from circulation and this would allow Atiku emerge victorious in the North and dig it out in the South with other candidates. Remember, APC and PDP are the same thing. Jumping from one political party among themselves is common and inevitable. Hence, the Cabals will lovely move to PDP as well, just to protect their corrupt images. So, PDP is not even a save ground to vote on the 25. Thus, Asiwaju should be mindful of some northern politicians. Especially, El Rufai. In the north, it has always been northern interest first, before thinking of party or Nigeria interest. Know this and know peace! That's how northern elite operates their politics. However, this wouldn't be the case as planned by the Cabals. Hurdling of the naira notes this period, will make the election circle around religion and ethnic sentiments in the side of majority up north - absence of throwing physical cash on election day. Whereby, Christian northerners would gladly vote for Peter Obi since they are not subjected to sell their votes that day. While, the Muslim would happily divide theirs among Atiku, Kwankwaso and Tinubu and even throw more on Peter. Making Peter Obi to have above 25% votes all round the northern states. With this, winning is processing already. 2). NUC Closes Down Universities. INEC has made it cleared that 60% of the newly 12million registered voters are mostly academic students who registered during the long-term ASUU strike, while at home. Moreover, the voting strength of this election consist of youths and mostly the youths carrying the placard for a New Nigeria. The same youths who had suffered and clamoured for a fresh breathe in the democratic settings of our great nation. Hence, it has graduated to a "Movement" and maybe if you want to argue this fact with me, then you should have visited INEC's PVC collection centers before now to see the calibers of Nigeria collecting their PVC and then you would understand this particular fact of Peter Obi emerging victorious on 25 February. So, NUC closure of Universities would enable students and youths to return and participate from area where they registered for PVC. 3). Completed Endorsements. No presidential candidate has ever been endorsed around the length and breadth of the country like Peter Obi has been lately. This is historical. Man has been duly accepted by all ethnic groups, religion, past leaders and foreign communities. And yet no one or ethnic group has identify with any of the APC or PDP candidates. This is the kind of national and international backing the Labour Party needs to secure their votes in the next general election. And the rarest of it kind in the history of the Nigeria Presidential election. What this means is that; they are tendencies for a transparent election. closing around the corner and if a loophole should arise in the process that would lead to rigging, then efforts are in place to ensure overriding such an unacceptable outcomes in the future, unlike the usual presidential elections done in the country. 4). The Igbo Effect Igbos makes up the second most populated tribe in every state after the original tribe(s), aside south eastern states where they form the only existing population. And has decided to vote for Peter Obi on the 25th February not because he is from their origin but because of his capacity to change the misfortunes of the country. Same Igbos voted for Obasanjo in 1999, Musa Yara'dua, 2007 and Jonathan in 2011 and 2015 and Atiku in 2019. In fact they were lambasted and sidelined by this current administration for not supporting voting them on different occasion to power especially in 2015 and 2019, yet the people paid less attention and grabbed what fate led them into. According to INEC, people of the Southeast origin across the country, makes up 37 percent of the total voters in the country and has the second voting strength in each state. Which translates to; with a free and credible election, Peter Obi can comfortably pull out 25 percent vote in core Muslim states. Unlike other election period people of Southeast would never register or collect their PVC's, or rather retort to resting in their houses on election day. Nevertheless, the winning of Peter Obi can't be downsized to having just the votes of south easterners in every state. But if charity should begin at home, the people of that region (SE) must rally round him first before effectively made manifest by other meaningful Nigerians of different ethnicity with like-minds for positive changes in our country. Meaningful to say that; every opportunity of him succeeding lives around the efforts of the people from his region to manned up to the occasion on that day in their majority to match up a region that would want to play the tribal card instead of competency and track record on that day. Vote Wisely...! PEACE...! |
2023 general election is one around the corner. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is one of those political parties aiming to mount the country’s seat of power. This political party believes they can make it in 2023, owing to their experience in the Nigeria political space. But here, we would do what we are good at, to analyse and criticize. Our aim is to ensure the best candidate emerges in 2023. And We have no issues or whatsoever anyone has about this. The truth must be served. Without wasting time, here could be top 10 Classic Reasons why you would Never want to vote PDP in the forthcoming election out of the numerous reasons many Nigerians may have in mind. 1). Choice of Candidate: Right now in the country, it should be understandable that political parties no longer matter anymore, because they are all the same circle of political leaders we are recycling. However, PDP were not considerate while selecting a candidate for Nigeria. They were all about doing the how – to – win game in 2023, rather than presenting a better candidate. Same thing goes to APC. For me, it was all about few persons selecting for Nigerian in the primary election for both political parties, you called them “Party Delegates” but I called them “Money Delegates”. Because, the highest bidder makes it out to the big stage. A candidate and his team makes up the administration rather than the party. For instance, Nyeson Wike’s team is quite different from Tambuwa’s team as much as Atiku’s team despite being in the same political party. Therefore, when you vote a certain candidate, you’ve also voted for his team. The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party isn’t anywhere close to the kind of candidate or team Nigeria needs in 2023. Indirectly, you are voting for the 1999 administration back in 2023. This could be disastrous to Nigeria’s democracy. Alright, in case you want to argue with this fact. Ask yourself what Nigeria truly needs in 2023. In 2023, Nigeria needs a transparent leadership, accountability, strategic leadership – capable of setting developmental reforms – a man with the SOLUTION – who has painted to Nigerians the future they crave for. Someone free from traces of corruption. Then asked yourself; if the candidate of the PDP has all these workforce that suits Nigeria’s demand. If we wouldn’t deceive ourselves, you and I know, this candidate don’t have these characteristics, but we are hellbent on supporting him because of personal benefits, political affiliation and ethnicity. Which has been the major problem we have in repositioning the country. 2). Equity and Fairness: Equity and Fairness are great tools in uniting Nigeria. Currently, if anyone is calling for the unity must be painstakingly talking about power going the south and to a political zone that has not tested it before. Thus, for the purpose of uniting the nation, it’s only reasonable to look out for a candidate in the southern part of the country in other to balance up and give every political zone that sense of belonging. Yes, it isn’t constitutional to rotate power. But it’s morally right to do so for the sake national unity. And the question is: if the southern part of the country decides to hold on to power after 8years just like the north are trying to do, will the north accept? 3). Unification Of Nigeria When you decide not to vote for the PDP in the next general election, you are indirectly unifying the country. Break it down: Nigeria is a multi-ethnic nation and all part is charged with the responsibility of uniting the country despite the cultural differences. Not voting PDP in 2023 will reduce power intoxicated Fulani herdsmen ravaging villages, farmlands and highways in some parts of the country. Remember he has the same ethnicity with that of the current president, and you know nothing will change. Most people had called the PDP candidate a Unifier. But a unifier will stick to justifying rotational system of power in the country in other to uphold what he stands for. Maybe, the word “Unifier” should be a mere political one. 4). What he intend to do Right from when he was the vice president of the country, he has always called for privatization and nothing else. Logically, privatization isn’t all about it, but the corruption behind it. They would gladly sell Nigeria to themselves if they come onboard. Remember NEPA changed to PHCN and you know the remaining story. This isn’t the kind of leadership we need. It wouldn’t solve the country’s problem. 2023 should be all about strategic leadership capable of stirring every area of the country that needs to be stirred. And not steadily clamoring for privatization as if they lies our problem. Such a leader emphasizing this keyword, “Privatization” isn’t fair to Nigerians or acting strategic in his quest to solve key issues in the country. 5). Arguable Source of Wealth “A man’s source of wealth is a reflection of his true identity.” What he believes and what he stands for. If the wealth is questionable, the character is also questionable. In 2023, Nigeria needs a transparent leader and not someone associated with one money laundering scandal or the other. You and I know that the candidate of the PDP is one of the bad guys associated with money laundering in the country, in case you have forgotten. Although, if you still doubt this reason, meet formal president Olusegun Obasanjo to break it down what his formal vice president was. In fact, ask Obasanjo to campaign for him and hear him vomit the bitter file of who the PDP candidate is. 6). Passed Experience Nigerians had a rough ride with the People’s Democratic Party for 16years that brought in All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2015. Voting PDP in 2023 could be trying to peel off our old wounds when the current one has not been healed. PDP wouldn’t do anything extraordinary when voted back to power. Thus, you will find them blaming APC for squandering Nigeria resources for 8years. Just like APC is blaming PDP’s 16years in power. Because, they are all the same recycling 1999 political leaders. 7). Recycling the Old Corrupted politicians again in 2023 General Election Voting PDP in 2023 means you and I wants to revisit the pass leaders who invented corruption in Nigeria. Some of them are waiting patiently for victory in other to refill their pockets after being attacked by EFCC and were squeezed dried by the anti-graft agency in 2015. They have suddenly turned into a roaring lion, laying ambush on Nigeria wealth and resources, when they would be declared winner in 2023. Some caucus members would gladly switch from APC to PDP if PDP emerges. Just the way they switched from PDP to APC after 2015 general election. Because, that’s what they know how to do best. Yes! You and I can stop this lions and switches and put them to perpetual rest with our PVC, just for the benefits of our unborn children, if not for ourselves. In 2023 general election, they are countless reasons millions of Nigerians will never want to vote the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC). Here, I just want to do a little job of saving Nigerians the stress, by counting just 10 “classic reason” out of many why the “Broom logo” should NEVER be an option in the forthcoming 2023 general election. 1). The Same Set of People. Without far fetch, they would be no different between the current set of political leaders in the Buhari administration from the ones to come if APC emerges in 2023. You and I can’t pretend we know nothing about the corrupt leadership system in Buhari’s administration, despite being hashtag with the slogan of fighting corruption. They still remain the most corrupt set of public office holders that Nigeria has ever had. Maybe, you will have to call Late Sani Abacha a saint if a different political party emerges and decides to put administrative office holders of the Buhari – APC led administration on EFCC hunt list. 2). Inability to Fix Nigeria APC will do anything to remain in power and blame PDP’s 16 years in power. That’s all they will tell Nigerians – “they inherited a bad economy system”. Of course, they did. Not even PDP are saints. But track back to 2015 when they promised Nigerians “heaven on Earth”, only for Nigerians to fall into the deepest hellfire. That is pure scam. Hunger level in the country is steadily increasing. Inflation has gone passed it peak. Education is completely frustrated and struggling to breathe in their hands. Security is a no-go-area. Which would be say leaving the others? Is this how to fix a country? As they’ve promised in 2015. After almost 8years. In 2023, if we truly want to pick our pieces and cash back our dearest country from that fatal lies and betrayers we’ve been subjected into, APC shouldn’t be anywhere close to our minds. 3). Choice of Ticket Sincerely they is nothing wrong with a Muslim-Muslim ticket but in Nigeria everything is wrong. The fact remains that a country diversify as Nigeria, we have lived to pride religion from the depth of our hearts, and if no one can do anything about that, certainly every religion should be giving a sense of belonging politically when it comes to leadership. When Christians were slaughtered in some parts of the country what did the current Muslim President said about it? When the current President appointed Muslims into key positions in the security of the nation, did he thought about the Christian brothers? Then none should say religion doesn’t matter in governance. I will have to stop here in other not to look as if I am plying the wheel of religion sentiment, but the truth here is crystal clear if you lives in Nigeria and in the northern part, in particular. Nigeria needs a government that would balance religion representation at the top level, not the same faith that would clap for it religion and plays “I don’t care” when other religions are being slaughtered. 4). Cash Back After Election No two ways about this. APC as a party and it candidate will spend a fortune in this coming election and are ready to spend much more just to get into power. Guess what? If they should eventually win, logically, it’s only right for you to understand that they’ll lovely want to cash back their money spend in the election and make more profit before anything, if at all they have anything else to offer rather than the continuation of their looting spree from where they would’ve stopped in the current administration. That means if they should spend 1 naira in the next election, they would probably be harvesting 3 – 4 naira as profit, and it’s all from our nation’s treasury. No sentiment about this. This is the big secret while Nigeria politicians would never do well in Nigeria. The money they spend in an election is way too much. And the ruling APC are underway on this sacrilegious spending. If they materializes themselves in 2023, then you can foresee the complete sinking of the country’s wealth. I think Abacha’s loot would be learning from this APC men and women. 5). Reported issues of Health Challenges It’s the desire of every man to be healthy and serve it purpose on earth. Sincerely wishing everyone good health and prosperity. But let’s be realistic and call a sharpened spade a spade. The same way health challenges could truncate a person’s life processes is the same way it will truncate administrative processes. The current administration had similar rumours of health challenges in 2015 but Nigerians were so loud with “Sai Baba” not to figure out it could turn out this way. And at the end of the day his wife came out publicly to say Cabals has hijacked the government. If the President was not visiting those hospital abroad and was completely fit to his bone, roaring Cabals wouldn’t have had the flexible opportunity to hijack government. Maybe our economy wouldn’t be in a deep mess today. So, rhetorically, this is a catch-up point not to let go and should be made a considerable fact when going to the Poll in 2023. 6). Smooth Transition to Bankruptcy After 2023 General Election Statistics has shown that the country is going bankruptcy. This is no news any longer. We are far from recovering from our debt soon and such political party shouldn’t be voted back to power. In fact, the next phase of our lives as citizens of Nigeria is not to elect someone who championed a failed government but to meritoriously vote for someone who will effectively reduce the cost of governance and manage the current crises into a befitting end, by cleaning up their APC messes. If possible force the current administration to vomit the money they have swallowed through the mysterious snakes in their 8 years of running the country hopelessly. The Presidential candidate of The Labour Party (LP) for the forthcoming election, Peter Obi - needs no introduction. And here are 10 "Classic" reasons why he remains the Best candidate for 2023. 1). Personality The first thing Nigerians are looking out for in a candidate aspiring to be the number 1 citizen is "Personality". Nigeria needs a mentally sound person who's capable of stirring the affairs of the nation within a short period of time, owing to the economic downturn we find ourselves in the country. A personality that has the "vibes" of a modern President Nigerians can be proud of. A servant-leader passionate for a "Working Nigeria". Someone who has presented to Nigerians the future they craved for and not someone who is hellbent on becoming the next President because he thinks the country's seat of power is an inheritance, and as such goes about acting like a "Desperado Leader". Nigerian knows what desperate Leaders has caused the nation and are not ready to tread that path again. Hence, you would agree with me that Peter Obi matches the personality Nigerians are after, and that marks the first reason why he remains one of the best candidate come 2023. 2). Credible Source of Income Whether anyone likes it or not, credible source of income is a yardstick for measuring the transparency of a Leader. Before proceeding, the next Nigeria president should be a man with viable source of wealth. In other words, a man with credible record, free of fraudulent activities, be it a mere scandals or EFCC documented in either government or private offices held in the past. You would also agree with me that a candidate with questionable characters in previous office is only opening another chapter of corruption in the Nigeria system and how can such person be trusted with Nigeria wealth? Dearest Nigerians can confirm that in 2023 the country is deadly in need of a leader that has a proven track record of how he/she made money. Peter is not a saint but among the top candidates he has one of the cleanliness source of wealth. Read Also: 5 Sings Peter Obi Might Become the Next President of Nigeria 3). What he Intend to Do If you have ever listened to all the presidential aspirants addressing Nigerians, you would have a rethink of the wealth of knowledge bestowed on Mr Peter. The next person closer to this fit is Kwankwaso. He (Peter Obi) will effortlessly point out the problem facing the nation and constructively give ways to navigate out of them. Example: when he talked about improving electricity and reducing hunger in the nation. You and I knows how hunger and lack of electricity has been dealing with us in Nigeria, it's either the power grid has collapse or economy recession is setting in. Mr Peter had used countries like China, India, Egypt and many others to give and illustration and subsequently paint the picture we want to see in Nigeria, on how they stirred the crises in their country into what they have achieved so far. Just like Barrack Obama said: "They want your vote without telling you what they want to do for you". You wouldn't even want to argue with me on this fact. Peter Obi remains the only Presidential candidate that has consistently told Nigerians what he Intend to do when voted as the next President (from consumption to production) unlike others that are yet to hit the point constructively. Thus, it's reasonable enough for a right thinking Nigerian that has a heart for a better Nigeria to give him a trial at the Poll come 2023. 4). Unification of The Country in view of The South East Region They is no better time to unify Nigeria than 2023. It is becoming clearer by the day that the situation of the country is heading south and might collapse if not properly handle. These are what ex Leaders has seen and are trying to back up a President of the South-East extraction. However, after the civil war and if truly the nation has completely healed from it wound, trying out a Southeastern President will automatically integrate the region back into believing in the "Nigeria Oneness" and hide the fact from international communities that people from the region are marginalized like those in the diaspora has always clamoured. Thus, missing it this time around could be explosive for the nation to bear in the nearest future. Hence, not even the PDP or APC candidate can be a better unifier than the LP candidate. Personally, in this aspect, I think a President in Peter Obi come 2023 would gradually put an end to the agitation from the South-East region just like we had with Niger-delta. Please think about this fact before supporting a particular candidate if you truly love the unity of Nigeria. So, when somebody calls Atiku Abubakar a unifier and someone who wants to unify the country, I wonder what term the person is referring to when he wouldn't led power return to the South and to Southeast in particular. No better way of unifying the country than when every single ethnic group in a "multi-tribal" nation like Nigeria is given a chance to leadership. In fact, if I have my way, I will gladly make it constitutional for the country's seat of power to be rotational, from one ethnicity to another. In other to enjoy peaceful coexistence and reduce risk of self ambition leaders who are ready to get into power by all means. 5). Effective knowledge in Managing Cost of Governance One of the biggest problem we have in the country is how to manage the cost governance. On daily basis, fortunes are spend running government functions and this has been one of the problem facing our finances as a nation. Africa spend so much in governance despite the fact they don't produce. Please, in 2023 do not go to the Poll if you are going there to vote for a president that would seat down and watch the Senators and House of Representatives approve billions of naira to renovate the National Assembly when many Nigerians are homeless. Mr Peter did managed Anambra state effectively and has pointed mismanagement as one of the problems rocking the country finances. And this could be another reason why some corrupt politicians are not backing him, because, they fear he will not open the country treasury for them to mess around with. Former president Olusegun Obasanjo is one of the frontiers of the "Obidient Movement" many Nigerian don't know about. I am not surprised he endorsed Mr Peter Obi for the 2023 general election. If Nigerians can remember, Obasanjo picked for Nigerians her best president so far in 2007 in the person of Late Musa Yara'dua. The former president has been there and understand the job and how the system works, more than any suitable person ready to speak against his recent endorsement of Peter Obi. He (Obasanjo) has all tendencies to endorsed what would be like the best candidate for Nigerian in the next general election, owing to his level experience in the country's seat of power for 8 years and with the Musa Yara'dua experience in 2007. The formal president has nothing to loose or gain as long as Nigeria is concern. And for that reason, wouldn't be bias in spotting a capable hand for Nigerians. Here are 5 Solid Reasons Obasanjo Endorsed Peter Obi. 1). Credibility. Remember when Obasanjo was in search of a successor in 2007, one of the reasons he picked Late Musa Yara'dua was his credibility and transparency. They was an Atiku and several others who were juggling to take over from him. Solidly, Obasanjo may have looked critically beyond the three candidate and has found Peter Obi as one he can replicate the Yara'dua gesture on. Deeply, if you and I will tell ourselves the truth, and imagine Nigeria is our personal business, who among the three candidate are we going to employ to manage the business? Assuming our business is "deadly" in need of a credible hand to manage. 2). Unification of Nigeria If anyone has always spoken of unifying Nigeria and acted as one should be Obasanjo. Whoever has ever called himself a Unifier is only making a mere political statement. Nigeria belongs to every single tribe in the country. A solid reason why Obasanjo may have found Peter Obi worthy could be another simple reason of giving the people of the South Eastern Nigeria the "Sense of Belonging". Remember he supported Goodluck Jonathan in 2011 election and you and I know how much this integrated the people of the niger delta into the "Nigeria Oneness". Obasanjo is spoiled into repeating this same with Peter Obi for the people of the South Eastern Nigeria and this is why he maybe a Unifier than any other so called Unifier. This is very right and honorable for a Senior man to do. 3. Fixing Of Nigeria Fixing of Nigeria is a very delicate issue in 2023. Inability to do this in the next general election might mar the economic strength of the country in the future. The former president isn't ignorant of this fact. And as such, understands who is capable of fixing Nigeria once again irrespective of party affiliation, tribe or whatever disputable reason to support another candidate other than Pete Obi. In 2023, Obasanjo has seen an economist capable of managing the ever increasing foreign debts incurred by the current administration and he is not relenting in supporting such a candidate. Everything about Peter Obi's campaign rallies around fixing Nigeria for Nigerian. He remains the only presidential candidate that has come out with strategic approach on ways to solve the country's problem. And you expect Obasanjo not to support such candidate? A man that has given his all to see Nigeria succeed. He would have opted for a different candidate, and has absolutely nothing to loose supporting the wrong candidate, but tons of Nigerians and unborn has. 4). Returning Nigeria Back to Nigerians. No two ways about this. Obasanjo knows deeply that Nigeria has been hijacked by certain monopolistic individuals. It's only logical to understand that between PDP and APC resides the hands of blood sucking politicians that has sucked the country dry. Supporting either of the candidates of the two parties wouldn't effect the necessary change in the country any time soon. Don't get this wrong, Labor Party are not saints but with them resides lesser devils that can be easily send to hellfire, compare to the other two parties that forms the pillars of the demonic foundation in Nigeria politics. In other words, supportive a PDP candidate is equivalent to supporting an APC candidate because, a "Switch" will definitely occur after the election. But supporting a party like Labor party without the so called structure is like supporting the birth of a new Nigeria for Nigerian. Because, of the calibres of people who hungered for a working Nigeria. And that the former president isn't accepting. Obasanjo understands that Peter Obi is the only way to return Nigeria to the right thinking Nigerians. 5). Listening To Nigerians After witnessing the EndSars that rocked nearly the entire country, many Nigerians, mostly the Nigeria youths publicly challenging elected office holders of their leadership credibility. Pa. Obasanjo is very kind enough to have acted suitably with Nigeria youths who are clamoring for Peter Obi to become the next president of Nigeria. A parable says: "When a child cries and keep pointing it hands to a particular direction, an adult should take a look at the direction, there is something spectacular about that direction." (I may not write this very well, but the elders understand what I mean). I think, Obasanjo has seen what some right thinking Nigeria youths has been pointing hands on and has come out publicly to support the course for a better Nigeria. He has seen it in a manner that even if anyone climbs the tallest mountain, might not be able to see, feel and understand what will befall them for not voting and ensuring that Peter Obi wins the next general election. Now, I leave you with this: "If Obasanjo was able to pick Late Musa Yara'dua that is agreeable the best president so far, then Obasanjo reserves the right to decide for Nigerians who becomes the next president". I just got back from The States to Lagos, Nigeria after my degree program. I was given a lite reception that day and really enjoyed my family presence once again. Most especially, I enjoyed the Africa dishes prepared right at home. The 'Ewedu' soup and 'Amala' was just unthinkable seeing the credible quantity of meat inside the bowl. Due to it sizes, you just have to relocate the meats to another plate before the 'fufu' can reach the soup. Recounting all that dropped down the said day, I came across a pretty young lady who was staring at me and would stop at nothing if not my attention. After the house party, I walked up to her and we exchanged phone numbers on realizing her family and mine are close friends. We got talking few days later and I decided to visit her the next week, since she would be traveling back to the UK to continue her study. It was Friday already and I was very happy that I would be having a good time with Maryam finally before she leaves the country the next day. The thought of her beautiful face and lovely voice wouldn't escape from my head in a hurry and once again I couldn't wait to see her falling on my shoulder for the first time after we've dated on the phone for almost a week. Thus, I jumped on one of the Danfo Buses heading to Oshodi even when my bro advised I go with one of the cars at home or even an Uber. I disagreed and thought of using the opportunity to see new people and get to exploit different places of the city. The vehicle was stopping every now and then to either carry passengers or drop them off at one designated Bus-stops to another. Though, I was not worried but few who sat beside me were murmuring in dissatisfaction. I stayed cool and wouldn't want to say a word in other not to let my accent to single me out. We got to some extend and I saw a woman beside the road stirring a pot of hot stew filled with provocative sizes of meat inside. "Wow!" I though within me and swallowed saliva countless times. I wish I could tell the driver to stop me at this point but it seems Oshodi was still far from there. "Damn...! People are enjoying in this town." I said to myself. The driver wheel up faster and few minute later we landed at Oshodi and I manage to find another vehicle heading to Festac in the midst of the crowd waiting to board a vehicle to their various destination. Maryam was still buzzing in my head like those old days a high school boy falls in love for the first time and would sneak into bush track to do some crazy fantasies. And that was how my heart felt while in the vehicle going to Festac. Suddenly, my eyes narrowed down to a Shade beside the road while the vehicle was about getting to the last point for all passengers. I screwed through my phone and dialled Maryam's contact number just to inform her that I am at the Bus-stop but she didn't answer the calls. I stare randomly around me and the sight of the Shade where the woman was turning another sizes of gigantic meats inside the pot of soup kept calling me and yawning through my stomach to go over and have a taste. Everything was like it was quite planned by the woman stirring the pot -- that each time my eyes moves to the direction, that would be when she is lifting another sizes of meat up for my eyeballs to catch a glimpse of its amazing bite. I stood at the corner of the road waiting for Maryam to pick my calls, but deep inside my heart I have already eating the woman's meat one after another while she was stirring them inside the pot without her knowledge. Nevertheless, I summoned courage and decided to walk into the wooden-made Food Joint after flinging one thought of me that advised me not to go. I was amazed when I saw the number of people eating in the poorly layed out Joint, designed for average class. A young girl walked up to me immediately and requested for what I will want to be served. And I was pleased to order for 'Ewedu' soup and 'Amala' when I heard her mentioned it again after eating it at home the first day I came back, and was really pleased with the meal. Beside, with the size of the meat I saw, the worms in my stomach had already sworn to deal with it aggressively. When she brought the food I was very happy seeing the same size of meat I admired now staring at me. I held it and planted my teeth for the first bite. I quickly remembered Maryam; she should be doing this with me. Well, I had no choice since she hasn't responded to my calls and text. I grabbed more meats from the plate and ordered for more rounds of 'Amala'. Happily I grinded my jaws, masticating the bones of the catfish pepper soup I ordered later. When I was done serving it down my stomach, I summarised with an energy drink when I can't find a soft drink in the shop. And for the first time, I felt my stomach was adding in size and weight. I belched loudly and felt that could be disgusting to anyone around. Watching the environ slightly, I stood up to walk away but my stomach was too heavy to allow me take the first step, so I sat back and fixed my hands into my pocket to bring out my wallet and paid for the food. When Martha was done talking on the phone with her father, she saw Dr James standing beside her after ending the call. "I think is time you stop this game? Your Dad would be coming soon. And has spoken to me about Mike coming on board to replace the Senior Accountant who will be going on sabbatical leave." Dr. James explained. She couldn't say a word and thought of what to do. Mike may likely ruin her plan when he comes on board. "Don't worry Dr. James. I will take care of that. Beside, Mike has never met me before and may likely not know how I look." Martha said. She was contemplating what to do when Mike comes on. "Are you saying you are going to hide your identity from him also?" Dr. James asked worriedly. "Dr., I think you just have to help me out this time around. I need to find a very nice man, not all these men running around me for marriage because of my father's wealth." Curiously she said, detailing the reasons behind her action. "And do you think hiding your identity will help you find a good man?" Dr. James said. "Well, I think that would help to some extend. Most men just want to jump on board the moment they hear she's Chief Alaibe's only child. And that could jeopardize the future for me. I am a woman and wish to marry for love not because of business connection or whatever." She said summarily. Dr. James stare at her not Knowing what to say. He could find some sense in Martha's words. "Excuse me, I have to leave now before Mrs Philip starts looking for me." Martha said and raised her foot some distance to leave the office, and she remembered a question she had in mind. "One last thing Dr. How much does Mrs Philip receives as salary?" Dr. James thought for awhile, he couldn't understand the reason why Martha is asking the question, neither would he remember the actual salary. And had to go through some documents to be able to reply. Continue reading https://storybloggerz.com/if-love-can-speak-love-romance-story-episode-3/

The next day at work, Dr. James came early enough. He drove in and met Martha seated at the security office. Martha had already talked to him before now. And when he saw her, he stare at her and she understood and walk towards him as they made way into his office. "Ms Martha, I don't want any form of trouble with either your father or the board of directors. Why will you want to work as a cleaner in your father's company? That is highly unacceptable in any part of the world. Why? Ms Martha." Dr James, the General Manager said. After seeing how wretchedly dressed Martha was to resumed work as a cleaner. "It's just for a short time and everything would be fine." Martha said, without having a second thought. "No! Ms Martha, I can't let you. When your father called me you would be coming down to Nigeria, it wasn't for you to work as a cleaner in his company. He would be highly disappointed in me if he finds out." Dr. James said. Looking so worried of Martha's choice of working as a cleaner. "Listen Dr. James, you don't have to worry about that, This is my father's company and I have the right to occupy whatever position I want to." Martha said proudly. "What about the executive functions? Who will take care of that." He asked. "Keep all documents intact and I will work on them after the close of work. Just don't worry, I will take care." Martha said. She would be working as a cleaner and also an undercover vice chairman of the company. Dr. James was tired after realizing Martha was hell-bent of doing what she has in mind. And didn't know what else he would say to stop her from doing so. Inside of him, he couldn't figure out what the young lady is up to and at the same time, he sees a woman with a very "strong will" and a blend of modesty "Alright, if you say so. What would I do now, since your mind is made up?" Dr. James asked. After thinking for sometime not knowing what next Martha will want him to do. "Call Mrs Philip and introduce me to her as a new Cleaner." Martha advised. Dr. James chuckled for awhile seeing how prepared she is. https://storybloggerz.com/if-love-can-speak-love-romance-story-episode-2/
