StrongandMighty:
It's not a new a thing, even Joe Biden was at Chatham House too when he was contesting to be the president of United States..
I'm not sure this is true. Joe Biden went to Chatham on 7th November after he had won the election which held on 3rd November. So, he couldn't have gone there to campaign, but to start reassuring US allies, of which Britain is the oldest.

US Presidents don't need to go outside US to beg for clout or votes. But for Nigerian politicians, it is more like begging for Western acceptance and promise to sustain the slave-master relationship borne out of inferiority complex.
PoliticsRe: Politicalwise: Bad Parenting Is The Ultimate Problem & Cause Of Poverty In Naija by sucemt(m): 11:21am On Dec 25, 2022
Not writing for your prize. But to set something straight for sale of some people who might get it wrong.

Bad parenting is NOT the cause of poverty in Nigeria or Africa. Bad parenting stands on its own and can contribute to the peace and progress of different families. There are bad parents who have wealthy children and good parents whose children are poor. In fact many virtuous families are poor today, not because of morals but because of the colonial laws that were imposed and still sustained on various unconsented communities and groups that are still held in various African countries.

So, the root cause of poverty in Nigeria and most of all African countries is the colonial land expropriation law with which these countries were created and which they transferred to the New politicians to continue the job of exploiting various kingdoms and communities, especially in Subsaharan African countries.

PoliticsRe: Everything You Need To Know About Igbo And Yoruba. by sucemt(m): 4:48pm On Dec 03, 2022
Nwanne... this comparison is very unnecessary for our resurrection from the colonial bondage still holding us all. This is more like local champion competition (div 2) to console ourselves as we wallow in the neocolonial system imposed on all of us, and which has made us hold and fight one another while the whites use few politicians, military and intellectuals to hold and exploit the best of human and natural resources in Africa. I'm sure the West will be laughing seeing us fight and blame one another.

There are smart and dull people in every ethnicity, tribe race, nation or continent of the world. Some of the most brilliant people i met in university of Ibadan are Yoruba... and there is a wide distribution of smart people across the tribes.

So please stop this comparison. Let's find how to free ourselves from the colonial system holding all of us to the ground.

Your submission about communism as the highest form of capitalism is 100% correct, the geopolitical analysis of WEF and its slavery through out the world 100%, the projection that China as a model for LP candidacy is an invitation to increased slavery is also 100%. If you can explain all these without using insult on the person or supporters of LP, your argument will also become 100%.

I'm glad some people are seeing the neoliberal aspect of some political brouhaha we are combating.

KwaraRat:
The LP was a containment zone for radical far left Marxists that was formed by Trade unionists .

It is composed of the worst of the worst who appear anti establishment and pro masses on one hand and full fledged big govt control on the other.

To even have Obi, a capitalist import based trader as their candidate explains the hubris surrounding the LP and their illusions to improve the working man in Nigeria.

As I have always maintained, Communism is extreme capitalism. As communism is the ideal slave labour conditions capitalists have been striving to attain as can be seen in how western capitalists funded and founded the communist revolt in Tsarist Russia and enabled the Soviet Union in its slave enterprise .

Even the CCP and Mao are products of international capitalism and we know how the WEF - a supposed liberal democratic advocacy and capitalist organization has since declared China as the future role model for all nation's to emulate , a sentiment shared by the dense parroting Peter Obi who can't seem to shut up about China's great industrial leap forward but who conveniently omits how the bedrock to such success was only possible and sustainable through prison slave labour and concentration camps.

It is for these reasons, the LP and its adopted candidate should be roundly rejected for being the ever flaming useful idiot Marxists that they are.

I have said my piece.

So, please air your view calmly without insult, and then, people can appreciate the sense in what you are saying.

MandelaLives:
To answer your question, the reason for the loss of momentum in the Obidient rallies are:

1. Corruption is fighting back. The corrupt establishment is desperately working to continue in power.

2. A good example of how corruption is fighting back is how they paid Soludo to fight his successor. If you check well, you will notice that the momentum started dying since Soludo published his article. That is the strongest attack that the Obi camp has suffered so far. Yet, someone wrote a counter-article that thrashed Soludo's article and no one is talking about it.

3. Nigerians are mostly stupid people. With what Nigerians passed through in the hands of Buhari for the last 8 years, if it was in another country, they would be fighting like hungry lions against the slave masters. They will know that every attack directed at Obi is corruption fighting back and they will REFUSE to listen. But now, everyone is so selfish. Even to share information, many people feel they're doing someone a favor (the reason the counter-article to that of Soludo didn't see the light of day). I tried to share it countless times but people were so so dull.

See eh, if Nigerians miss 2023 again, they will suffer for a long time and they will deserve it.

First, I am Yoruba. There are Yorubas in Benin Republic... but I care less about them. I have nothing with them and I cannot carry Beninoise Yorubas on my head. That is me. And that is millions of Yoruba as well. But Buhari, I cannot understand. To call him silly is an understatement. Buhari is an animal. He is far below a human. This is a man that voted a fulani man from Niger against Nigeria's Peter Onu because of ethnic group. I mean how crass, how vain and how animalistic can a president be to vote against his own country's candidate. Well, that is Buhari, the animal.
You guys are not ready to address the root cause of Nigerian and African problems: which is 'WE ARE NOT ONE PEOPLE', just a group of unfriendly and unconsented communities that were colonially bound and held together at gunpoint for extracting resources and supplying finished products for any of the new prison guards (president) to share as he likes. Nigerian ethnic groups and communities have never agreed to live and work together as one country. So, Buhari is only acting from a natural affinity to his root as long as the people being exploited are the Niger Delta oil communities, and not his people.

You are Yoruba, good. I'm Kogi, good. At month end, our govs go to get share of ND oil money from FG, to come and share to us while we protest for more share. But I have never seen any single drop of crude oil in my community. So, claiming the oil in the ND just because some British people came and killed their ancestors and tied us together and said everything belongs to everyone only makes me and you and our people lazy and unable to look inwards to our communities and people to develop what we can trade in order to grow.

Forget about the political correctness, Buhari is just acting in the natural way by focusing on his people because there has never been any true consent (with checks and balances) for a democratic existence in Nigeria.

Face the reality guy, she doesn't have all the time as you do.

How sure are you that Your business will be stable as you want it in 3 years time. What about is the business needs more time for this stability you think you need?

I would advice you ask yourself some questions .

I was in similar situations when I married. Business was a year old and could only keep us afloat as a family. So, we decided on having only two kids, cut down on all extra expenses, and it worked. Beginning of the month, I will give her the money for the family upkeep from the profit made from the previous month. She would always encourage me to keep on because the future is brighter. She was so correct because thesame business 8 years later now makes over 500k as profit monthly with a staffing capital of 2h5 persons..... Just that she isn't here anymore to enjoy them with us as she passed on along the way to Cancer.

So, ask yourself if there is a way you can combine forces and start this process? If you can't see a way, allow her go. If both of you can pull together 100k monthly as family upkeep, it will suffice in most places in Nigeria.

You can cut down also on the marriage process expenses. I did mine in the registry. Collected the list in faith, met my family, showed it to them. They gave me money that covered 90% of the list.

One thing I love about my marriage was that it makes me focus more on my business.

So ask yourself again....can I find a way to marry this woman in say one year time? If yes, join hands together and make it work. Grow your home together.

If No, then tell her to leave you alone to focus and build your business.

Eddygourdo:
Very poor performance by Labour party. However this has no bearing with how things will pan out in the presidential elections. However what is clear to the obidatti is that Labour has alot of work to do at the grassroot and this is mainly for those contesting elections at that level not Peter obi.

Also people at local level are still very much interested in vote buying and while we know majority of obidients will vote without needing to be induced, we have to play the local politics in other regions that isn't our strong hold. Our no shishi mantra is valid for the obidients , but for these other lowlifes whose votes we will need to achieve our aim, we have to make plans to match the other demonic parties stride for stride.

2,000,000 monthly grin

As at 2019, Nigeria had about 11,877 professors (though this include both those on private and public higher institutions).

That means; monthly, the government will pay 2,000,000 x 11,877 = 23,754,000,000. That's over twenty three billion naira monthly.

As at today, Nigeria produces about 1.2m BPD of crude oil (Our main source of income, excluding mineral resources from the north which I don't know why they don't mention it. Only God knows where that money is going to). Using the official exchange rate of about 414 naira/dollar,
If 1 barrel is about 93 dollars, this becomes 1,200,000 x 93$ = 111,600,000 per day

that's a total income of 111,600,000 x 414 = 46,202,400,000 (Nigeria's income from crude oil).

THEN; 46,202,400,000 x 30 days = 1,386,072,000,000. This is over 1.3 Trillion naira monthly.

Boy o boy, This country is making money.

SUMMARILY, THE GOVERNMENT CAN PAY ASUU COMFORTABLY.
PoliticsRe: Why Restructuring Is A Fantasy! by sucemt(m): 9:28am On Jul 13, 2022
This guy is badoo... the electoral system is not enough to kickstart a revolution. The idea must have been alive and simmering into people's lifestyle even before election. Election only becomes a way to formalize and stamp in the ideology into a durable system. And the idea does not die even if the candidate doesn't win the election or even dies. Instead, the idea continues to live and grow and spread and influence people's way of life even after the originator has died or left the group. That is the difference between an ideology and a personality cult (worship), which is in itself a recipe for tyranny.

Precisely my points repeatedly on this forum in regards to the integrity of One Nigeria.

Organic movements will thrive only in regions that allow inclusion and promotes diversity.

I have opened teo threads on this issue already.

It is easy to practice organic movements as an ideal in one's head. On the ground you will face multiple barriers that make it impractical to exist as a alternative thought and lifestyle.

Your presidential candidate comes from Anambra, a hostile territory. You believe this fantasy of a self-organizing labourer will be tolerated in Anambra?

In advanced economies where liberties are protected there is something called purposeful communities. It is semi-independent, they pay tax and adhere by municipal statutes and codes but usually they live according to a belief style or organic principles.

You are not in UK or US. People in Lagos have a far brighter success rate of self-driven lifestyle than people in Anambra. This is because legacies from Tinubu and Obi respectively in those states exist till today.

Obi is a wrong person to follow for an organic movement.

Conversely, if you are following a path of zero leadership with hope in growing a platform of idealists, it is still unachievable without representation. The representation can be bought. Isnt that how EndSars movement filtered out?

Ideas abound my friend, their practice in Nigeria is a waste.

MT:
As citizens, I think we have a responsibility to support the Government and hold them accountable in the way they spend our money. Failure to do these, Nigeria can never evolve. As we are approaching another critical election, can Nigerians do any of these:

1. Pay Tax
2. Pay Road Tax
3. Pay Insurance on residential building
4. Pay Television license
5. Pay valid insurance on automobile

You can add more.
You cannot achieve this where the colonial law upon which Nigeria is built forbids private land ownership unlike USA or other countries u compare. Land ownership means that you own your land and whatever is in it whether mineral or agricultural resources and can choose to use it to produce and sell what u want. Not that govt claims ownership of people's lands to take and allocate or sell to thejr friends, family and former colonial masters. People adequately pay tax from creating wealth as proper goods and services from their natural resources, and not when they are hungry and begging for salary like slaves.

So before asking your questions, ask when will Nigeria abolish that colonial land law to blocks people from owning and using their private lands and resources for industry and trade.

Secondly the "tribalism" is human nature, natural to mankind and so anyone who denies is is a hypocrite and a liar.

Thirdly, no country anywhere on this earth where unwilling people are forced into a union would not result in what is happening in Nigeria.

Truth is Nigeria is unworkable. It is a clash of culture and conflict of civilizations. The colonialist at the 1884 Berlin conference are at fault.

Brother, it won't be your turn to laugh. Try educating the people with a little more humility than with cynical tone of black-man-mentality and other derogatory words. The truth is that Africa has been under Western attack since 1619, from slavery to 1851 of colonialism till 1950 transfer to neo-colonialism, which we are suffering today. Insulting fellow Africans in the name of educating them won't solve the problem. Instead it brings more hatred to you. So, my brother, let's find a simpler and kinder method of educating our society before we all die.

Nelidee:
99% of Nigerians are not aware of this and when the 1% that are aware try to educate them, they are mocked, insulted and called crazy conspiracy theorists.

Nigerians have been deceived to think the people causing this are Islamic extremists from the north when in reality, alot of Muslims in the north have been killed, most of them farmers.

https://gdb.voanews.com/b4986ecc-e406-4ff0-9da4-d0872a874099_w1200_r1.jpg

Now farmers nationwide cannot go to farm. Our women who engage in farming have stopped because they're afraid of being raped and killed.

Nigerians with their black man slave mentality cannot sit down and ask why are our farmers nationwide under attack? Who is attacking our food supply? If truly the people doing this are Islamic extremists, why are they attacking muslim farmers in the north?

They cannot ask these important questions because their eyes have been blinded with so much hate.

They have no idea who bill gates truly is nor are they aware of his depopulation agenda in Africa, most especially Africa's most populous country, Nigeria.

Well, We the 1% that are aware of his plans have decided to keep our mouth shut and prepare silently. By the time nationwide famine hits this country and people begin to die of various strange ailments and diseases, it will be our turn to laugh.

Nigeria is not yet a nation. It is a British contraption, and the people you call leaders are more like prison guards and prison warders. One treats us better than the other and we call him messiah. Peter Obi right now is the better option among all the aspiring prison guards. But don't expect any miracle from him until the foundational colonial law that denies people's ownership of their lands is abolished. My prayer is that Nigeria can truly become a nation by abolishing that root colonial in order to prove the colonialists wrong.
