omohayek: You shouldn't throw around terms like "mumu" when you're the one it applies to the most. What part of "Nigeria is a secular state" don't you understand? If you don't like crossdressing, don't crossdress then! Nobody's forcing you to engage in it, so why bother yourself with what's under someone else's clothes?
It's not the job of the Nigerian state to enforce what you call "moral". I know the thought has never crossed your empty mind, but all of us have different ideas of what constitutes "morality". Sunni Muslims say one thing, Shiites say another, Catholics have their own, Methodists differ, Baptists have theirs too, etc, and then there are the practitioners of the hundreds of African indigenous religions. Whose idea of "morality" wins out in this theocratic fantasy of yours, and what happens when the rest refuse to go along? You really don't have sense. Google wat secular state means before disgracing your family here. And yes the govt has a say in what constitutes morality. The government of Russia, china, Saudi, Japan all do. What stops you from dressing naked in the street? Do that in any country and see if the state won't delve into morality |
Fashion › Re: National Assembly Proposes To Criminalise Cross-Dressing In Nigeria by sucess001(m): 4:45pm On Aug 04, 2022 |
omohayek: And how exactly does what someone else wear threaten your morals? Are you trying to say the sight of a man cross-dressing will somehow awaken shameful desires within you or something? If so, that says a lot more about your own sexual confusion than it does about anything else. The rest of us have no need for a Saudi-style "morals police" to keep us from being led astray be crossdressers. Mumu. You don't know that what is shown on social media impacts the society? Or your medula can't process this? |

But they know you share the same ideology with them.

The entire country didn't mind muslim-muslim at the time. In any event, all three contenders were muslims. Who else do you recommend he steps down for?
The true test of Atiku was when he won the presidential tickets. In all elections that he was the flagbearer, he chose Christian deputies. Ben Obi, Peter Obi and now Okowa.
Tinubu on the other hand is always championing Muslim - Muslim ticket. He tried it with Atiku, tried it with Bihari and now had his way as the flagbearer. Tinubu should stop trying to look for justification and take his impending loss with dignity. |

Peter Obi who does live interviews at any time he is called upon really understand the current economic problems of this country and has got immediate and long term solutions
We are still waiting for Tinubu to take up the challenge by Atiku to come out and sit for 1 hour interview to discuss national issues. I am pretty sure Tinubu will not try to embarrass himself to speak because he has nothing new to offer in the current Nigeria predicament other than political thuggery and heating up the politics with religious sentiments that will soon consume him. Thank you oooo. At least obi and Atiku are tackling the issues and giving proposed solutions. That some of the examples they give are not completely accurate does not change the message. Let Tinubu speak |

Tinubu na serious bad market. Like Buhari, defending Tinubu is a laborious job that no one can succeed at.
You see that Tinubu and his camp are pathological liars.
In 2007, you wanted a muslim muslim ticket, Atiku rejected you.
In 2015, Buhari a religious and ethnic bigot rose above his bigotry and rejected you because he wouldn't do a muslim muslim ticket.
In 2023, your life-long desire of doing a muslim muslim government came to the fore and you didn't waste time to show it.
Muslims and Christians who knows how important a religious balance is at the federal level will make sure Tinubu reaps defeat from this seed of religious discord he is trying to sow.
Tinubu's religious agenda will never be actualized. I tire! Even them Murtala Mohamed, Abacha, babangoda, abdusalam all chose Christian vice s. |
