if you are in Lagos, just holla me any Saturday and I'll take you to where you'll select 1.5HP AC's for 45K. You'll test them and even select from large pool of options. Personally, I buy new things and know my way around various markets, from new to used, to scrap. My point is, if you have an item to sell at market price, create a thread for it. Don't come here and post it as clearance, meanwhile the price is the norm at the market place. For the AC, I wasn't referring to anyone, I just sited an instance

All you do is buy it cos it was tested, did u ever paid details to the power consumption, you want to compare to heavy power consumption electronics sent down to naija as tokunbo to items bought new and of recent not ages tokunbo products. So I contacted this seller last week and he sent me pictures , he assured me the compressor picks but doesnt chill , I made a costly mistake by dealing with this guy on trust , he sent me a dead fridge , I paid 10k for logistics , my technician examined this morning and found out the compressor doesn't even work at all , nothing works , not even the freezer fan , I called seller back and he told me he declared on the post that the fridge is non working . I asked for a refund so I could return the dead casing back to him , he declined , I'll take this as my own share of scams , but I warn everyone not to deal with anyone again without physical examination of items . this guy has breached my trust and we can't deal on anything again .

Don't buy what you can't physically inspect, don't buy fridge, freezer, AC that sellers claim it need gas refill, change of compressor/condenser etc. Some people here just want gain to sell scrap for something, weyb say some of those things are to be disposed to dumping site

good point! overpriced items everywhere. a good well tested fairly used 1.5hp ac can be gotten for 40k @ alaba with receipt and few weeks guarantee! brand new deep freezer ranges from 40k upwards @ alaba(depending on size and products)

I didn't tell anyone their item is bad,I just pointed out reasons and facts why you shouldn't wake up, come her and post ridiculous prices. Provide 65k, I'll get you a brand new of that deep freezer, provide 25k, I'll get you that iPad. As for that windows blind guy, it was really annoying to have posted a blind for 35k clearance. In recent times, I've seen alot of terrible prices that defeat the purpose of this thread but haven't got the time to respond. Should I talk about the 1.5hp Ac for 45k? I just kept mute, because these prices are what you'll get them fairly used ( and would be better) and neater than these posts.

I paid for an iPhone 11 to McMayor so he told me to chat quadly up to collect the device after chatting him up he said he's not currently around to give me the phone . I got 2 more iPhone 11 from twins Kenny then I plead with him to help me collect the one with quadly and send it all for me at once when he got to where he's going to collect the one with quadly he called him over and over but there was no response he had to leave and send just the 2 with him after chatting him up later why he did that he said he's not around okay good when is he going to send my phone he stopped talking I chatted McMayor to just give the phone I paid for since I paid to him I've no business with the other guy then he stopped responding too I asked for a refund now he's telling me to wait for 48hours like are you kidding me why should you collect money if you dont have a phone ..
Just help me tell him to either refund my cash or provide the phone I didn't delay while paying he should not delay the device

Bros I was just going to rant about battery issues now. I hope you have gotten a better battery.

Last week Sunday I borrowed a guy my car battery to start his car and I have not had peace since then with my battery. Now I understand Why the guy spent two hours at crown estate car park without anyone to borrow him battery (I know he spent nothing less than two hours because I saw him on my way to Awoyaya, coming back he was still there, took another trip to Abijoh from sky mall, he was still there)

The following day my battery started misbehaving, I used my neighbors battery to start it and went out. Going back home at night the thing just went off in the middle of the road before Jakande first gate, called LCC towing service to come tow it off the road while waiting a guy stopped to ask what’s up, I told him battery issue, he was reluctant to remove his battery but later gave me. I left, following day I took it to total sangotedo to charge, it has been there since until yesterday when I went for it, got home, the battery can’t even crank the engine.

I just got home from where I went to price a new battery now, 75amps Everstart is 27k while chinko is 23k. My battery that got spoilt us just two months old

If your battery is bad and you know it, don’t hit the road!

Don't ever let your battery drain finish. Everstart is 23k. or carry your car go a batter charger/seller place to check if there is battery drainage from your car. Hardex too is very strong 17/18k. I have used mine for over a year and it dey start any fucking given time.

1.2m is good to setup a salon pending how you want it to be like, a big one in size of (like 2/3shops size) or like 2 shops at different strategic place. You have to study and know how the market/business work in your area. If you can answer these questions.

The location where you intend to do the salon, how is the population like (upper, middle and lower class) as for me I advice you target where there are more of middle class and lower class. how saturated Is the business around the area, how much do they barb around there (upper, middle and lower class).


For Alchol business, I don't know much about it but I have people who start with a shop and now they have like 2/3 or more shops, selling in wholesales prices. Alcohol business is lucrative here in Lagos because people dey drink all sort of things here from different types of bitters,vodka, wines including yogurt etc, but I don't know of port Harcourt. if you can take a survey to see how demanding and how people drinks you can give it shot but before that pls take months to learn the trade to know how it works
