Now to my main point slowly go through this thread you opened and pay attention to the warnings you have been given. Stop this your 100% trusting mentality. Honestly no one should be trusted 100% in this life the quicker you learn this, the more richly you will enjoy life. Question things, think about all the possibilities and make sure you are ready and adequately armed with plans to tackle them. I have seen some incredible advice and cautions here, take your time digest them as they are designed to make you wiser. Your polish bf might be all you think he is but it doesn't hurt to be extra careful. So as to avoid... Well I let you imagine the possible scenarios. As for your Nigerian guy, you messed up there, you should have told him a long time ago how you felt. Stringing guys along is not only wrong especially when you want the financial gains they provide but its very dangerous. I have seen the lengths most guys go to, to get even. Let's be guided please. And Dominique I don't know if you posted again but, always pay attention to triggers please. This lady triggered most of these guys from her very 1st post.Together with her statement of receiving monetary gains from the unfortunate fellow, Its no suprise she got the treatment she's receiving. But not all guys here are stooping to her level. Some are just cautioning her since she's very young and easily influenced. genius43:Oh right sorry about that. Did some research, I think that's the latest update as it seems I have an European rom. So that's the latest update for it. I thought all global versions were the same initially, so when I saw 10.3.7 version I thought my phone should be getting the said version too. But that's for india roms not european roms. Hey guys, so I played around with the theme app on my RN7 and I found out that notifications don't appear on my lock screen with certain themes. While they reappear when I switched to the default theme or certain less complex themes. Is this typical or is it fixed with the new update. My current MiUi version is 10.3.6 this is after I initially downloaded and installed a 531mb updated the day I got the phone. But I was surprised cause it isn't the latest version (I think?) and when I try updating further it keeps saying no more updates. But today I checked downloads app only to see a MIUi zip file thats 1.8Gb. Is that an update file? If it is hope it will install automatically when I have download it cause I don't have energy for all the manual processes that include flashing the phone. Note, system update is still showing no updates. If this is an update which am hoping it is, will it fix the notification issues I have experienced when using certain themes?

okikiosibodu:Thanks for the tip about Wifi and Bluetooth scanning, didn't know. Gestures are what I use for navigation. Its fun watching most people who haven't used MiUi try to navigate through the phone. I wanted to get a screen guard but I heard those ones with black borders would cover the notification light on the bezel. So I didn't, as that was the only type I saw. Is there a different type of screen guard for this phone without the black borders? Am guessing you got the blue coloured one, I did too. The beauty is out of this world really. Down side is I can't dare use it outside without the pouch because of how slippery it is. Thanks for the warm welcome. It's feels amazing being a member of the Xiaomi family. 7 Likes |

Penboy:  There is no separate cut off, To get your aggregate do what orezy5 has said(ur jamb score ÷ 8 ) + (ur olevel score hope u can calculate this cause I have forgotten) + (predegree final score ÷ 2.5) = to ur aggregate Now compare it with the released cutoff for merit, catchment or elds to know where you stand. |

Skseries:Honestly I have no problem with recasting really. But the thing is sha move forward with the continuum. Don't start rebooting and adding more confusion to everything. If the people casted before aren't great, recast them and do it carefully so the same thing don't happen again. A green lantern movie is something I crave really. I mean there are so many DC characters why focus on selected few. |

Skseries:Totally agree with this honestly, any sensible movie fan would want both Marvel and DC universe to firmly stand on their feet. Giving us great movies year in, year out. Its simple economics really, competition brings stronger and better content and we will be the one to benefit. As much as I like Marvel, I really want to see great DC movies and characters with perfectly interconnected storylines. But right now its difficult to even feel DC has a plan really. I get the point some guys here are trying to make, DC isn't Marvel. That it is unfair to expect the same thing from both. Just because Marvel lists out their plans according to their movie phases, doesn't mean DC should do the same. But I think it's important to note Marvel strategy produces hype. They release just enough information early on about their movies to make people hungry to see them and by the time they are out, you see guys rushing in to watch them. Its a great business strategy really. DC on the other hand are should I say secretive about their overall movie plan. I don't know about others but for me it just doesn't keep the hype, and it just feels DC don't really have a timetable. See the thing is they should come out and say what is going on, let's not base our knowledge on rumours online. If they are doing standalone movies separate from DCEU make it clear and tell us to what end. If these movies aren't part of the DCEU why make them, when you have a shared universe already? Are you trying to reboot it? If yes come out with it so we can all adjust our mindset in that regard. Or is it that they just want to reboot selected characters and story lines. Cause they are still going ahead with aquaman 2 from the looks of it and aquaman is part of DCEU. If they are trying to build trust again, why not do so with characters in DCEU? I mean there are several DC characters that they can tell their stories without directly linking them to DCEU yet. If they want to build trust. But making a movie about a character in a universe that needs to find its feet. And stating the movie is outside said universe just brings confusion and a sense of lack of direction. Hence the bone of contention. Hopefully they have a great plan we are not seeing yet. 4 Likes |

Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede, the Vice-Chancellor of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, says the institution will complete its power generating plant in October. Ogunbodede made this known on Monday at the biennial conference of the African Institute for Science Policy and Innovation held at OAU. The vice-chancellor said the project, which started in 2017, would be ready by the end of October. He added that the institution was working with a rural electrification agency that would provide a gas-powered turbine that would generate 8.0 megawatts of electricity for the institution. “Because of the fast pace of the work, the project will be delivered by October ending. “We are now very sure that by October ending, the university will be generating its own electricity and what that means is that we will be off the national grid,” he said. Ogunbodede stated further that by the time the project was delivered, the university would be saving between N35 million and N65 million in energy cost monthly. He said that the university’s daily energy need was below six megawatts, adding that the plant would also power the institution’s teaching hospital. The vice-chancellor stated that the institution’s neighbouring communities would also benefit from the excess energy that the plant would generate. The VC had earlier made the disclosure at the weekend during the commissioning of the renovated theatre block and donation of two surgical machines – Anaesthesia and Sunction by Latter-Day Saints (LDS) Charities, the humanitarian arm of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. “We will be generating our own electricity on campus and will no longer be depending on the national grid. OAU will enjoy 24-hour power supply and that is exciting. It will enhance our research output among other developments. “We also have our dam. It is currently being renovated. We will be generating our own water and our own electricity,” he said. Maintaining that the future of transportation is air, Ogunbodede said OAU will soon start an Aeronautic Engineering Programme. “OAU is going to be the first federal university to have an aeronautic engineering programme. The building is under construction and will be ready in four months. “Our entrepreneurship programme is also been upgraded to serve our students. We are no longer going to produce graduates who will be looking for employment after graduation. We are working to ensure any product of OAU will not only employ himself but also others,” he said. Appreciating the continued support of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints to the institution, he urged Nigerians with the capacity to support humanity in ways they can. You only feel that way because you wanted Jon to be on the throne when he has told you time and time again that he doesn't want it. Jon being brought back was obviously because without him, Westeroes would have been the land of the dead ruled by the Night King. Jon played a major role in the demise of the Night King and his army of the dead. Jon united the North after taking winterfell, and also manage to bring in the Mother of dragons and her armies into the fight. Do you think the Boltons would have stopped the Night King or Cersie would have sent her armies north when the dragon queen was @ dragonstone. Or Dany would have left her quest for the throne to fight the dead based on rumours about the dead? Heck, she would have thought it was a ploy by Cersie. This is why Jon was brought back, he wasn't brought back to rule. His heritage didn't even mattered to him, I see no reason for it to matter to us, since he clearly didn't want it. Jon has always wanted to be a member of the Night's watch, that was his dream, and he had that again in the end. He is satisfied with that, I think you should be too. I can't speak on the Night King death cause that really isn't my bone of contention. But I am equally disappointed with how his story ended. And am not advocating for all people with supernatural powers to be King, If so I would have said Jaqen H'ghar should be king also together with Merlin and the likes. Lets not even bring Merlin and co to this discussion self cause they aren't in Westeroes. I understand your view of Kings that a King should be just that and nothing more. The supernatural insights he needs, he need to get it from his "chief priest" as you called them. But why settle for less when you can have the best is my question to you. Its not all the time these Kings and Queens in the case of Dany listen to their advicers and most times end up making wrong discussions because of it. Other times they do listen only to find out that their advicers were wrong. So the probability of them making the right decision everytime is less than 90%. I know is hard for us humans to accept change but try to put aside your notion of what should be and look forward to what ought to be. Most times rulers made the wrong decisions not because their advicers were bad or they themselves are bad. But because they didn't have the whole information. Take Robert Baratheon for example a fairly good King (in terms of intentions not generally) made the decision to kill the boy that was sparing with Arya b4 Joffrey and Sansa came to interrupt. Because he believed the story his son told (lack of the complete picture) something am sure Merlin and co would do because who wouldn't want to believe a story told by their kid and supported by someone else with the only contradicting tale coming from a tomboy of a girl. That right there is the problem with Kings that don't have the whole picture. What about paranoia about people coming to take your throne. This made the same Robert order the death of Dany. But when he was dieing and all the paranoia had disappeared to the background he could see the "error" of his ways. These are things the type of Kings you want or that are prevalent in folklore and stories are prone to. I ask again why settle for less? When you could have someone with the entire wisdom of history (dare I say a Solomon of Westeroes), someone who can see what everyone is doing in open and in secret, someone with the COMPLETE information, someone who isn't a victim of paranoia but a moulder of it, someone inherently good, someone that understands things from the perspective of all his subjects.
