Maybe your right, but I feel star wars movie and series are not under the control of Marvel but under the control of Lucasfilm. Does that make sense? Marvel got the license to star wars recently say 2015 but Disney acquired Lucasfilm a bit further back than that. So it is no brainer for Disney to give comics right to their comic branch which is Marvel. Hope you can see where am coming from.

And don't get defensive, I never said I was superior or more mature than anyone here. Just said I didn't see the need for the banter as you can easily enjoy both Marvel and DC movies without all the sentiments. I know its a foreign concept and against the norms here but its just my 2 cent, which I gave because you tagged me a MCU fan. Hope this clears that up.

Correction, clean closure isn't the way, it is your way. But there are merits to your argument granted. But to insinuate that your way is the only way just sounds off to me.

Not everyone one wants clean closure. And surprise surprise not everyone needs it. There are times you've just had enough and don't really care why they did what they did. As in they have broken a trust so strong and real that it has utterly diminished their importance and reasoning.

You can't toy with people's heart upandan. There's a breaking point where it's just doesn't matter what you have to say. As no excuse no matter how big is enough to absolve you of your misconduct.

Everyone must not react the way you want them to. Just because they don't, doesn't in anyway make them any less right. While you crave closure, the op doesn't care for it as his mind is made up. Learn to step out of your own point of view and try understanding others point of view. You don't have the monopoly as to the right way to do things.

No one could have predicted what she did. And you don't know how it would have played out if he had gone for closure. Knowing the op will refused to take her back. She could have come with poison to threaten him. Claiming to take her own life if he doesn't take her back. Am sure the op wouldn't take her back. Causing her to carry out her threat exposing the op more to legal action than he currently is.

There are many right ways to climb a mountain. But there are mountains that will push the boundaries of your skills. Doesn't mean your strategy is wrong. Just means you're on a challenging mountain.

How will you even mention road in the 1st place. Thank God you said portion of the road. Because the one I pass everyday is almost completely gone at one spot. Imagine transporting a gunshot victim through that road.

Medical profession would be so much more fulfilling and even cheaper if Nigerian engineers are doing their work. What's stopping you guys from making medical equipments? Why is it so difficult to provide hospitals with 24hr power supply? Why are the roads so bad that patients die before getting to hospitals? If only you know the number of people that bad roads have killed or permanently paralysed. Heck why can't you produce competent ambulances? I mean even thermometer is a big challenge to Nigerian engineers.

Its so bad that even hospital beds are imported. When we have how many million engineers in this country. WHAT ARE THEY DOING? Obviously they are online bashing doctors.

Look at the infrastructure of government hospitals, so poorly planned. With different buildings far apart. Why didn't nigerian engineers think like their western counterparts to fully house a hospital in one building. A doctor who has like 10 patients he is monitoring will be walking upandan the hospital because they are all housed in different buildings. Such poor conditions.

Before you start bashing next time, look at your self, look at your profession and think very deeply on how you failed these people. On how you killed people who would have survived or completely paralysed them just because you refuse to do a standard job when making roads. Think about lives that has been lost just because you couldn't provide power supply to hospitals. Think about how affordable health care would be if you guys produce hospital equipment.

Lets be guided please!

Let me officially draw this thread to a close. All thanks to the mod that is appointed to ban me each day I post on this particular thread for what I don't know. I don't even know that one gets banned without stating the rule been broken. That's by the way.

Back to my thread. I went to see my elders sis this night too after which she assured me that she had come and gone because I told her that I won't come if she was there. When I got there, she is gone truly.

My elder sis narrated everything she confessed to her and she kept it real. Kudos to her for that. Then my sister told me that we were to get back to her this night to know what I'm still saying. That she told her that that particular day was the first she did that and she never knew I would meet them there. My sister told me as well that she was the one that chose outside instead of going to the guy's house. That the guy has been asking her to come to his house.

I told my sister not to believe her. Was she not the one that gave the guy her number?
Why didn't she tell me that someone was asking her out?
Why would she go for a date without my notice?
My sister had no answers to these questions and I asker her to call the girl at my presence. She did and told her that I still stand my ground that it is over between us. The phone was actually put on loudspeaker so I could hear her at the other end.

Immediately my sister told her my stand, she could say anything again. I was sure she broke down, or so I thought. My sister shouted "hello" for few times but there was no response. So I took my leave.
That's how one moment of bad decision messed up all our efforts and future.
I didn't lose. Maybe she did. Maybe not. I have no regrets. I am a cool guy. Be that as it may, I know when to say enough. Whenever I have said that, there is no going back on it.

Several years now he has become a true icon, am going to miss Iron man. Heck if they should do some magic to bring him back, I won't complain really. But then again I just might.

Nothing to do now than to look ahead and hope an even more iconic character takes the reigns. It seems captain marvel will fill that role, but as much as I like her character, I just don't feel she's the one to take the reigns. Am hoping Mr Fantastic does so though. As he is the perfect candidate.

This is just sad, they could have definitely handled the situation better. Expelling the girl isn't the best decision. I mean we really lack human feeling in this country. Yes mistakes were made, I personally feel the exposure of the act online is punishment enough. They could have thrown in a suspension in there too if they are so inclined but expulsion is just wickedness really.

This is something that did not occur on campus and the school wasn't in session. No crimes were committed. According to the law what happened was legal, although stupid but legal all the same. Babcook name was dragged through the mud, but they could have redeemed themselves in a more humane way.

Suspend her if you must but help her too. Give her counselling in this very emotional and depressing period of her life. Help her pick herself up and be better. So much pain, anger, depression and ultimately crimes could be avoided if we only help each other and not push people aside as useless beings. But what do I know.

Just a quick correction tho.

Protein arnt destroyed by heat they only get denatured which simply means they lose their biological structures. But the amino acids which make up the protein are still very much preserved and ready to be digested and absorbed by the body.

You said Xiaomi should work on their cameras which they are doing yet you keep on complaining. And so you know cc9 isn't a flagship phone but a midrange phone and your mi9t will probably be more expensive than it, thats if the price of mi9t doesn't come down.

Mi9t camera is very good at least from the reviews online and even from other users here. Maybe like someone here has said already, you don't know how to use it. Its not a crime really, when I first used the Nokia 8.1 to take pictures, I had average results. But when the owner handled it, I marveled. Maybe you not being a camera freak like me too could have played a part wink

But I do accept we all have different taste, so if xiaomi ain't doing it for you. Nothing is stopping you from switching brands.

They are the second most profitable phone brand after Samsung while apple is 3rd. And guess what, Xiaomi that only started making phones in 2011 is now 5th on that list. So these brands aren't struggling 1 bit. But then again ignorance is bliss so continue.

After struggling to make enough money to buy data thinking it would last for a month, only for it to finish in a week. Because of their stupid zapping. How is it lawful? How you defend this at all baffles me. When someone pay for something he should get exactly what he paid for. If the telecom companies can't afford it then reduce the data volume. As long as I get what I pay for then am cool with that.

Have we gotten so used to being exploited that we now make excuse for those who are doing the exploitation. How does 1 open his mouth and defend this people suprises me. I paid for something, give me exactly what I paid, how is that a big ask? Even if you want to zap, zap the bonus but the real data someone paid for should be left untouched. Because you don't know how the person struggled to get the money.

How will you compare a phone that uses Snapdragon 808 to one using Snapdragon 450? Obviously it should take better pictures. I mean you've haven't proven or made any tangible point. And how you compare LG and Hauwei together is something really ridiculous as they nor be mate. Hauwei phones are much better.
