Try University of Regina. Your CGPA can secure a masters program, if they offer the course you want... Abacino007: Good afternoon house,
I don’t know if anyone can suggest a school that can offer me admission in MA Economics degree with 3.65/5.00 in Canada. I will like to apply for fall 2020 |

Congrats man! So I just checked you out and it appears your VISA app has been denied before. Kindly share your profile of the 1st application and then modifications you made before re-applying, if you can. Thanks. Kenny4real68: APPROVAL ALERT GUYS!!!
I was in the bathroom taking my bath and at the same time playing music with my phone, my music got interrupted and it was an email that entered. Still sponging my body I walked close to my phone to see and it was CIC “donotreply”, you have a new message(s) in your account, I didn’t even know when my sponge fell off my hands. I just picked my phone and ran out of the bathroom like that with my soapy body, my mother saw me on the way and was surprised!.. I told her mum the hour is here Canada just replied and I don’t know if it’s a refusal or approval- she shouted and joined me as I run to my room-. As I was logging into my account my hands were uncontrollably and terribly shaking, My mum kept shouting for grace as my account was loading, lo and behold it’s an approval guys.. we laughed and hugged ourselves . Now, Let me go back and complete my shower will be back for the full testimony.

Hi gurus and travel hopefuls! So my GCMS note came out last weekend as expected. (Popular 3 reasons: Travel history, Purpose of Visit, and Finance). No rush, I'm extending my resumption to January 2020. By the end of July next month, that's when I plan to re-apply. So many things I now know to do differently from following this thread.
Please!!! I will be posting my newly drafted SOP on the group for review, next week. Please I would need all the best hands on deck.
More blessings on us all!! |

Glad to read your success story. Beautiful to see you 'pay it forward'! Dera12345: Thanks once more everyone!!! And to give back to the forum before I travel, I would like to willingly assist few applicants finding it difficult to secure MSc funding admission, including magic tips on how to charm a supervisor lol. Also note, first impression matters and that determines the rest of the positive interactions depending on the supervisor’s response.
I was once in their shoes and I know how frustrating it can be, this is the best I can do!!! |

If I understand you correctly... You don't trust that the agent has actually secured the admission and you're trying to verify his claim that the admission is ready since the offer letter hasn't been handed over to your relative yet? What reason did the agent give for holding back your relatives admission letter? Not sure this forum is interested in agent wahala, hahahaha, but the University caught my interest. N/B: The moment an applicant is granted an admission at University of Regina, the ADMISSION LETTER IS SENT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS THAT WAS USED TO CREATE THE APPLICANTS PROFILE. There is nothing like, admission without Admission letter. There is no pick up location for admission letter, it is in the registered email address of the applicant, all that is needed is to print it out. SetZ: Good evening pretty ladies and noble gentleman in the forum please am hear for some information for a very close relative
He started his application since January through an agent now for some time now the agent has been telling him that his admission was not out until last week finally the agent said its out from the university of Regina please this my questions First Is the school to send the admission later or is there an office in Nigeria where its been collected on their behalf
Please really need to find out how London does it take the school to actually release this said admission later
Please would appreciate a candid answer God bless us all |

Doesn't sound right. I think there's miscommunication somewhere... It's a normal procedure (between WES and Universities) that does not require you to instruct your school. At least that's what my school told me back then (UNIPORT). Did you go there yourself? Sounds like someone is trying to rip you off... AdimGreat: Please has anyone here done WES verification for ESUT degree transcript?
I'm currently in the process. I was first asked to pay N35,000 for them to send my transcript to WES. And now I'm being asked to pay another N35,000 for them to respond to WES verification email request. This is really crazy and I don't understand why our institutions should be extorting us this way.
Like N35,000 just to respond to an email??
Has anyone experienced this? |

Hello Bracha, I'm still expecting the link you said you'll send to me (for the winter clothes). Bracha: Here is what happened to me, sometime ago, someone wanted a phone number for someone who sold winter wears, I had gotten the number from someone on nairaland, so I posted it here. Came back the next day, and it had disappeared. I just sent it privately to the individual.
My experience has made me think the highlighted statement may not always be true for nairaland. I don't really know how these things work, so I'd prefer to err on the side of caution. |

Mine is a graduate program, so any extra document I sent to them was to the graduate admissions office (via their email address). I equally did not use any agent. You can confirm the right email on the school's website, or once they pick up your call. Try not to get tired of calling at the specified time, they'll eventually pick up. I'll advice you specify your concerns on a paper before calling them, as their beautiful voice can make you forget yourself. Evankc: Please I want to ask . Which of the email did you sent your school cert and other documents including waec scratch cards and passport that you sumited to the school for admission process. ? I sumited mine to International.admissions@uregina.ca and reason why am asking is because I was assited by agent on my first admission so this new admission am doing it by myself no more agent.
Anyway I have mail them for the complain and I have try call the school but not available till 8:15am or 8:30am Canadian time . So I will try call them again |

You might have saved some cash if you called the school before applying again. There is a procedure for this... (at least I'm sure of the one for graduate programs). When you can't meet up with the admission deadline, there is a form you'll be adviced to download and fill, which would then be signed by your proposed supervisor, HOD and dean of Faculty, via email. If approved, you'll then be granted an extension, to enable you resume after the deadline stated in your offer letter. At this point, I'd advice you call the admissions office directly. They'll clarify your doubts. I suspect they might just be reverting to your earlier admission offer,... Evankc: I applied for Business Administration, 4years program On my previous admission letter it stated that am eligible to start your studies at the beginning of any one of the following semester . 2019/Winter January. 2019/Spring/Summer semester May. 2019/ Fall semester September.
So I just defer the last intake which is September before I got my second refusal and I can't meet up again for this year.. Which was reason why I applied for another admission for 2020winter.. |

Hello Bracha. The reason I tried to email you was to get a link to your winter clothing plug, I want to know that I'm sorted in that aspect once my Canadian application is approved (optimistic). I'm yet to re-apply though, after my first refusal... I'm fairly new here, and the only reason I haven't posted anything is because I'm expecting my GCMS note. Most of the issues I had, I've read up on the several posts on these threads and I found my answers. I would need a lot of guidance from guru's such as yourself and others, once my GCMS note is emailed to me (expected 15/06/2019). Till then, I hope I'm not treated as a stranger cause I regard this forum as the best alternative compared to being guided by cold-hearted, money-hungry travel agents. Thanks for all you do! Bracha: Hello Sumji I just saw your message and replied w/out checking your profile. I have checked your profile now and seen that you don't have any posts here, this means I won't respond to whatever questions you ask except it has to do with my winter clothing plug.
Therefore, I'll suggest you drop your questions here or ask someone else.
Have a nice day. |
