The APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has called on security agencies to caution Peter Obi, Labour Party presidential candidate, from making incendiary remarks over the outcome of February 25 presidential election, an election considered by many to be the best in our recent history, The Director Bayo Onanuga said. “We are worried about his recent media rounds on Arise TV and Channels TV, in which he made profoundly misleading, criminally false and inciting statements about the election that he lost woefully. “We call on the security agencies to caution Obi from further making incendiary remarks, especially after he claim he is challenging the results of the election in the tribunal,” Onanuga said. Onanuga said Obi derided the election considered by many to be the best in our recent history, describing it as the worst, wrong election and not God’s will. TENS of thousands of Russians have fled to Thailand to escape a Ukraine war call-up. Top tourist resorts, such as Phuket, have been swamped with draft dodgers who have no intention of returning home, according to reports. Many of the runaway Russians have been described as men of fighting age. Some have taken over neighbourhoods. Figures show at least 233,000 Russians have arrived on the isle of Phuket alone since November. The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin, alleging he is responsible for war crimes committed in Ukraine. Putin is “allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation,” the ICC said in a Friday statement. The Netherland’s based court alleged these crimes have been carried out since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in late February 2022. This is a breaking story! The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday said that his Labour Party counterpart, Peter Obi, left the main opposition party because of constant insults from Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike. Atiku, who spoke through Phrank Shaibu, his Special Assistant on Public Communications, in Abuja, on Wednesday, also said it was miserable that Wike succeeded in deceiving his colleagues in the G-5 into committing ‘political suicide’, to reject the PDP. A Nigerian businessman living in South Africa, Charles Awuzie has offered to take care of the welfare of Cubana Chief Priest’s alleged baby mama and child.
