In the video, the pastor is seen embracing a lady in a pink costume in front of other church members and locking lips with her for a really very long time to ‘rid her body of demons’ as they stated.

Appointed Chief of General Staff in 1993 and Vice Chairman of the Provisional Ruling Council in 1994, Oladipo Diya was one of the most influential officers in the Abacha regime, and his popularity had begun to spread among the elite and opposition parties of the time due to his moderate views on the situation in Nigeria.

However, Diya alongside some dissident soldiers in the military was accused of planning a coup to overthrow the Abacha regime in 1997. He was subsequently arrested and tried by a military tribunal sitting in Jos.

After months of trial, the military tribunal, headed by General Victor Malu, found him and five others guilty of the allegation and sentenced them to death by firing squad.

But, the unbelievable happened just some 24 hours before Diya and co were meant to be executed on June 9, 1998, Abacha died June 8, 1998 in mysterious circumstance.

Tinubu’s media aide, Tunde Rahman said that “The special prayers will be held in Lagos and in other parts of the country.”

The statement released on Monday March 27 revealed that the Lagos State special prayers will take place at the Central Mosque in each of the 5 divisions in the state.

“Also to receive prayers among others are President Muhammadu Buhari and First Lady Aisha Buhari, President-elect Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Vice President-elect Senator Kashim Shettima and Hajia Nana Shettima, Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, other state governors as well as members of National and State Houses of Assembly.

Condolences to the family

The former Chief of Staff Defence Headquarters Lt Gen Oladipo Diya rtd is dead.

A family member confirmed that the former Deputy to Late Gen Sani Abacha died in the early hours of Sunday

 Diya lost his wife, Folashade, in May of 2020.

Born in 1944, Oladipo Diya was a general who served as Chief of the General Staff, under military head of state General Sani Abacha from 1994 until his arrest for treason in 1997. He previously served as Chief of Defence Staff and was Military Governor of Ogun State from January 1984 to August 1985.

Gen Diya was 78 years old ,would have been 79 years next week Monday, 3rd of April,2023

The Los Angeles Police on Friday surrounded Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles when an unknown man appeared at her door to propose to the singer.

LA Police Department confirmed that the man was detained for trespassing at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills residence.

He told security guards of his intention to ask for Rihanna's hand in marriage before police were called and arrived on the scene to question him.
He was put in handcuffs and placed in a police car before being released with a warning not to return to the property.

It is unclear whether Badgal Riri’s boyfriend ASAP Rocky, and their one-year old son were at home during the incident.

A source told TMZ, that the man had not broken any laws and returned home without criminal charges being pressed.
