Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Sundayschooltea: 7:33pm On Jul 04, 2023
Thanks for your reply. I am privy to the details because I she briefed me and gave me the permission to share her story because she is dejected.
On your question she has never applied for any category of visas with the UK before now. Thank you
hunee:

How come you have all these exclusive informations?

hmm

First, your friend's story is not really clear. You said she forged and orchestrated lies to support her application. She got a ban. 3 capital offences.

Please ask your friend, if this is his/her first application for UK, and be sure your friend has no ban with the UKVI before we can advise.

These are some of the issues and that is why we would prefer your friend coming here to ask questions themselves, so we can guide them.

Maybe, other house members may have different view, this is my own thought sha.

Good morning house
Trust God you are doing well today. Please I need your advise for a friend.
I have a friend who tried to get a Canadian student visa, she lied that she was married with children thinking it would boost her chances of getting the visa as well as submitted a doctored bank statement. As a result she was denied the visa and banned for 5years.
Currently she wants to apply for a care visa to the UK, and she will like to come clean about her marital and financial status. Please, can you advise her on what to do. I will be glad if you give me a response. Thank you everyone

Let stop calling 221g ' almighty' only God is Almighty.

Hello House, i have just received the almighty 221G letter to schedule a follow up interview. Earliest date we have gotten is 3rd week in Jan 2019.
My husband and i declared our intention to birth our baby during our interview in 2016. We have paid all our bills(payment plan), and received zero balance from the hospital as well as the itemized bill.
We intend to go for holiday early next year, any tips on preparation before we proceed for our interview? I have read VO's might pick issues on low hospital bill and un-explainable discounts. ours was an all inclusive self pay-package of 10k USD(CS) to cover physician for both mother and child. But excludes prenatal and scan.

[quote author=Momo13 post=71149356]Hello people.. I went for a follow up interview at the Lagos embassy yesterday. Visa was approved.

Not many questions were asked but all my documents were checked including itemized bills.
The rate of refusal was very intimidating..i was there for over an hour and only about 2 or 3 visas were approved! Blue papers were flying all over.

My advice to returning moms please stay away from hospitals that dont itemize services and also low priced ones.

All the best to everyone. BTW who has travelled at 38 weeks with Delta recently? Na my case be that oo. God dey!

How long did you stay in the US?

12 weeks, went give birth and did not over stay, as I was granted 6 months stay. Thanks

You really have to be prepared. One thing people who go to give birth in the US often overlook when renewing their visas is the discount given to them at the hospital. Most times this is being frowned upon at the embassy. Nothing is really free, that discount is coming from somewhere; it's taxpayers money. So always pay your money in full and not recourse to taking a penny from taxpayers money.

I don't know the details of your case, but what i know is that you have a lot of questions to answer. Good luck.
Thanks. I will be ready surely. No wrong doings. All will end well

If CEAC status is still showing ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING and you have received a mail already for pick-up, that then means follow-up interview for you 99% of the time.....

I just clicked on schedule appointment and picked a date. From the confirmation page. Visa priority is showing 221g. Meaning you guys are 100% correct.

Thanks.

So what should I prepare for about the interview.
N. B. I used my last visa for birthing purpose which was declared and all fees paid.

Thanks as I await your inputs

Mornin everyone, I want to submit my family application for Dropbox. Do I have to include supporting documents or just the things listed in the interview waiver letter. Thanks in anticipation

Good house. Still on drop box application.
I applied to renew my B1/B2 28th of June. Status changed from case created to Administrative processing since July 16th. But got a mail from embassy that my document is ready for pickup on 18th. Though I haven't received text from DHL for pick up. But ceac status is showing administrative processing. Abeg is my issued or to show up for follow up appointment? Just wondering aloud while I wait for DHL message. Please help me. I'm worry sick

Good day everyone, I was at the embassy today and I was refused. Please where did I go wrong?
Why are you going to US
Me:for prenatal care and childbirth due to the issue of pregnancy losses 3 times in five years
I gave her other personal details.
Where are you going? Is it Chicago, Houston?
Me: Riverside California
How old is the pregnancy?
Me: six weeks
Do yo have a correspondence?
Yes , I showed her but she was already acting funny. Maybe I said something that tune her off during my personal details. I said there is a way they would know if my pregnancy was viable and if not they can flush it.
Not that I lost my First pregnancy 2 days to delivery, the 2nd was six months and the third was 7months
Please help, when can I apply again.
Thanks
Sorry about your losses. I think applying at six weeks is too early, considering that your visa won't permit you to work and next eight months is assumed too long to be in US without work. I guess VO feels you might recourse to public fund. My dear relax, find a good hospital to care for you here for the time being and reapply when you are around six months. But commit your ways into God's hand and all will be well. It is well. Takia

Good am house. I am a new member but have previously given birth in the US (Dr Fagbohun of Oak bend) last year. I learnt the doctor fee and oak bend fees had gone up. Please can I have updates on cheaper doctors and hospitals in Houston, Texas. Thanks
