The real reason for creating this thread was a sort of social experiment ,I really expected to see comments like yours .

Greetings all.

3 Children in my house are missing today Fri 18.2.2022.

How it happened:
An exiting tenant of about 2 month handedover the room to another person (Two women: they should be in their 30's).
According to them (the women) they said they are student and came to Lagos to write an exam at ikeja so they just need a place to stay for 3weeks to 1 month.
They moved in without any load. (Just new bucket and broom)
They came very friendly and nice especially to the children.
On Friday evening they bought biscuits et el for the children. This was around 5:30-6pm.

Shortly after that they left with the 3 children. According to neighbor, the women said they want to go to bus stop to change a trouser they bought as it's not their size. That was when they left with the 3 children and didn't return till now.
Also on Thursday when they moved in with all the friendliness, promised some of the children that she'll take them to ShopRite tomorrow (Friday)
All effort to reach them have prove abortive as there's little or no information about the women.

Name of the children (3-5 yrs): 1 boy, 2 girls
1. Peter. 3yrs
2. Chiamaka
3. Miracle

A brief description of the women: one is chubby and the other is tall but not slim. They speak pidgin fluently and igbo. One of them claim to be from delta. They are both fair.

If you see or have any info about them please report to the nearest police station. (It has also been reported to the nearest police station (Ajuwon, Ogun State).

this is how they steal children now. I listened to one on breekete. The young lady moved into a new compound. She move in with one baby girl about 4-5 years and within 3 days, the neighbour's noticed the absence of the child. They asked about her and the young lady claiming to be her mom said she has returned her to her grandmother cos she doesn't feel comfortable there with her. Within some says, a tenant with 2 year old son left her son inside the room to go get some food in the evening time in a place not far from them, she came back and couldn't find her baby. It was what happened with the other girl she moved in with that gave the boys mother idea and they found out she was the one that kidnapped the woman's son. This happened in Abuja. This is how young girls operate in kidnapping children.

Besides, in some places, the husband's mother is the first to come and stay for a few days before the wife's mother comes for full time omugwo. They say it's because the wife's mother will need the few days to put together things needed for the omugwo and the baby has to be taken care of by an experienced mother for those first few days.

I'm not in support of what the wife did, but have you asked yourself what could have prompted that? Did she just wake up to carry knife and point at them? Do you know what they must have made her go through? Did the husbands mom helped at all or was she expected to do everything considering she gave birth newly and through csection? Was she treated with care at all. Given birth through normal delivery is painful talk more of doing it through csection. After going through the stress of taking care of the new born throughout the night, did your mum made her(your wife) go through taking care of her(your mum) and yourself during the day?

I had postpartum depression. My husband wasn't around when I gave birth so he couldn't understand, I was also trying to endure the excesses from his siblings which made it worse. But in all I tried to endure. Till now, I'm still fighting it but I'm managing it well.
