PoliticsThe Three Stages Of Black Cultural Evolution by Sunky200(op): 10:31am On Dec 27, 2019
In Southern Nigeria, the first Church, the Aruosa Church was created in 1506 in Benin, while the first mosque started in Oyo-Ile around 1550.

A casual observer will wonder how the two Oranmiyan power centers embarked, around the same time, the long process that replaced the Original African belief system and robbed the people of their true cultural identity and linkages.

Unfortunately, this question can’t be answered by the linear Western approach to history. It requires an Original African dualistic and systematic approach to understand why they happened around the same time and if lessons could be learnt.

The African Information retrieval system aka Afa-Ifa-Iha-Efa is the world’s first knowledge bank and religion. It spread civilization across the world – intellectual foundations of mathematics, sciences and advanced social organization.
After spreading all the way to South east Asia, it began to encounter resistance and reversal all the way back to its origin in Southern Nigeria.

It has been established that there is a trend of roughly 250yrs that brings global structural changes, culturally, politically and economically.

This trend is spiritually linked to Oya, the Orisha of revolutionary change, in Western astrology it’s called Pluto.
There is also a longer trend, the 2000yr cycle that dictates global consciousness based on a particular philosophy. The last 2000yrs has been an era of religion, known as the era of 2nd horseman, the New Testament, the Age of Olokun or Pisces.
Fitting the 250yr cycle in the larger 2,000yr cycle, you have 8 Oya 250yr cycles of revolutionary change in our sociopolitical evolution.

To start the outgoing 2000yr Olokun era, we had the birth of Christ and the beginning of the Roman Empire. Around 250yrs later, we had the unification of Christian beliefs, later solidified with the Nicene creed.

Christianity and Islam took over with their long swords, clearing out Black Africans in North Africa and West Europe and creating global imperialistic structures in 500AD and 750AD
By 1000AD, the Islamists took global power, destroyed Jerusalem, took over the Sahel and ruled Europe through Spain up to Paris.

Around 1270, the Europeans designed the gun and used it to repel the Islamists and advance into their African territories.
This led to the establishment of the mosque in the northern reaches of the Original African sphere and the Church in its southern coast.
This brought huge cultural changes in the Black African heartland.

Oyo Empire that had been ran over by Nupe Islamists in 1520s and had it’s royal court move to Igboho, returned to build a new militaristic empire with humans exchanged for guns, in contrast to its previous empire built on cultural linkages. It created the Aare Ona Kakanfo (Field Marshal) post.

Benin and Kongo also witnessed the fundamental changes.
Though Benin banned slavery and Europeans around 1515, it later joined the arms race that smaller kingdoms were using to challenge its dominance.

Kongo, the third largest Original African Kingdom, fell into the arms for slaves trap with the imposition of Alfonso.
Igbos not only witnessed the establishment of Churches but had its original African culture, especially the Arochukwu sect corrupted for trans Atlantic slavery.

While the 1500s cultural changes were largely limited to the ruling elite, 250yrs later, starting from 1770s, the Abrahamist moved towards direct colonization of Original African land and people.
The military leadership role, Aare Ona Kakanfo, devised in the 1500s as a reaction to repel Islamists and expand territory, became the nemesis of Oyo, as first in 1770s Bashorun Gaa and soon afterwards in 1817 Afonja challenged and destroyed Oyo hierarchy with the help of Fulani Islamists.

The Haitian Ogun revolution that used Original African cultural platform to break the Christian stranglehold, culminated in the Christian enslavers switching their focus to African colonization, starting with France in 1817 after the defeat of Napoleon war and loss of French America.

Around the same time, the Fulani Islamists set out to colonize huge swathe of original African territories.
The superior firepower of the Christian colonists enabled them takeover Africa. In Nigeria, the Fulani Islamists struck an indirect rule arrangement with the British colonists.

A thousand years, 4 Oya 250yr cycles earlier, the Coptic Christians in control of Black Egypt had handed over the Egyptian army to the invading Islamists and agreed to an indirect rule arrangement that lasted for 250yrs until the Islamists outplayed them for complete control.

The question now in 2019, at the end of the 250yr cycle that started around 1770, is which way forward for the original African sphere? Annihilation or renaissance?

The two possible outcomes are either the Original Africans unite in cultural platform to repel their colonists like they did in Haiti?
Or like in Egypt, where both Abrahamic religions engaged in indirect rule, the Islamists will kick out the Christian colonists to assume complete control and Islamization of Southern Nigeria?
As it is, the Islamists are in power and vowing to place the Christian colonists in bodybags if they dare to interrupt their rule and plans for wholesale Islamization.

The Christian colonists are believed to relish the confrontation that will bring anarchy and enable them to land peacekeeping troops, reorganize our army and put in place a new young cabal.
Ordinarily, this last option appears to be the most feasible though most unfavorable and disheartening.

However, there is hope with the change in the 2000yr cycle from an era of Olokun, the Age of Pisces, the 2nd Horseman of religion, to a new era Shango of enlightenment and global Black ascendancy, the era of the 3rd horseman, the Age of Aquarius.
Though like with economic predictions of boom or bust, you have to be an investor to take advantage of the economic trends.
So Original Africans, the Niger-Kongo ethnolinguistic groups, have to understand the sign of times and unite to challenge the status quo at the right time.

Original Africans should be ready to take advantage when the Abrahamists clash for complete control, like the Haitians did during the French class War, or the Bolshevik Russian revolutionaries took advantage during the colonists War called the First World War.

It can’t be too soon, before the Abrahamists have exacted damage on each other, so we can then enable their mutually assured destruction from our lands.

This is why we must move away from the linear approach to history by the Western academia and learn the trends in history that enables informed decisions.

PoliticsHow Thousands Nigerians Risk Death Consuming Meat Cooked With Paracetamo by Sunky200(op): 2:21pm On Dec 26, 2019
For many households and restaurants, using paracetamol is the fastest way to prepare meat. It saves gas, kerosene or firewood. And costs much less, N50 for one sachet of 12 tablets, and each tablet can cause a pot-full of meat to cook soft within few minutes. It's an amazing discovery, or so it seems. But what they don't know is that as much as they are quickening the amount of time it takes to cook, they are also quickening their days on mother earth.

"It's a lot faster to boil meat with paracetamol," a young mother, Adeola told this writer upon inquiry. "I have used it to cook cow leg on a number of occasions. If you add one tablet, the meat will melt and become soft in just ten minutes."
But Adeola is endangering her life and those of her young children. She was in shock to realise this.

Paracetamol, ordinarily, is a killer, when consumed regularly to cure a headache or take care of pains, but when cooked in a pot, it's a certain expressway to kidney or liver failure.

Medical experts say when paracetamol is used in cooking, it loses the pain killer property and becomes highly acidic and dangerous for human consumption.

When the process occurs, paracetamol is hydrolyzed into what is called 4-aminophenol, which, experts say, is highly very toxic to the kidney and liver.

Last week, a facebook user raised alarm about the prevailing use paracetamol to cook goat meat 'pepper soup' in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State and other surrounding areas.

Investigations by this writer revealed that restaurant owners opt for paracetamol because it helps them save cost and reduce the waiting time for customers.

Recently, there has been a hike in the number of young Nigerian men coming down with kidney failure, most of which result in death on account of poor medical care, part of the reason for that, apparently is consumption of paracetamol/panadol 'pepper soup' or meat it is used to prepare generally. Ignorance is proving costly in this regard.

In its 2016 report, the Nigeria Medical Journal noted that Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has so prevalent in the country that it has "become a public health problem in Nigeria."

In March last year, the Nigerian Association of Nephrology (NAN) said a whooping 25 million Nigerians, representing over 13 percent of the country's estimated 180million people had kidney failures.

But paracetamol or panadol is not dangerous only when cooked in a pot. Regular intake or slight overdose can be equally deadly.

The maximum 24-hour dose of paracetamol is 4g, but as little as 5g, experts say, can cause liver complications, and it can be easy to overdose accidentally by taking more than one product containing it at the same time.

Considered an effective pain reliever, paracetamol is widely used in Nigeria and elsewhere, it's the number option for cure of headaches and easily the most commonly used drug in the country, if not globally. But its regular use portend danger.

“Continuous use of Paracetamol can cause potentially fatal liver damage. Things get much worse when combined with alcoholic drinks, like origin bitters and in chronic alcoholics or patients with liver damage," noted medical consultant, Dr Maria Alice.

“Paracetamol is metabolised primarily in the liver into toxic and non-toxic products. Some final products are inactive, non-toxic, and eventually excreted by the kidneys. However, there is an intermediate product that is toxic and is considered to be responsible for liver problems, like acute liver failure, a killer clinical condition."

But it is not just about the liver and the kidney. In 2013, the US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) issued warnings that taking paracetamol can, in some rare instances, cause potentially fatal skin conditions called Stevens-Johnson Syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis and acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis, which can cause the top layer of skin to become detached.

Paracetamol rose to prominence globally in the 1960s following fears that aspirin and other non-steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen could cause gastric bleeding, ulcers and other serious side-effects. But it was like running from frying pan to the fire.

In 2011 a professor of rheumatology at Nottingham University UK, Michael Doherty, a published a study looking at almost 900 patients aged 40 and older who took paracetamol, ibuprofen or a combination of both for chronic knee pain. When he compared the participants after 13 weeks, it came as no surprise that one in five on ibuprofen lost the equivalent of a unit of blood through internal bleeding. Surprisingly, he also discovered that the sameproportion of those taking paracetamol had same problem.

Scientists at the Edinburgh University found in a recent study that constant use of paracetamol leads to toxicity of the liver. The report released by Dr Leonard Nelson and Dr Pierre Bagnanachi showed that paracetamol-linked liver failures are so severe that the patient almost certainly needs a transplant.

Last year, the FDA reduced the maximum dose of paracetamol (called acetaminophen in the US) in tablets or capsules to 325mg to reduce the risk of accidental overdoses.

The advice therefore is, take less of paracetamol and be mindful of how the meat you eat is prepared.

Foreign AffairsSame-sex Marriage Officially Recognized In Israel by Sunky200(op): 7:50pm On Dec 10, 2019
NEWS ALERT: Same-sex marriage has now been officially recognized in the state of Israel as a result of a gay couple who discovered a loophole in Israeli law.
While the country embraces its 'LGBT' community and gay tourists, same-sex marriage remains illegal.
The Chief Rabbinate is recognized by law as the supreme rabbinic authority in Israel; and therefore, if you want a Jewish - as well as legal - wedding in Israel itself, you have no other option. But with the new precedent set by invoking the marriage loophole, the many gay Israeli couples who 'marry' in other countries are now legally recognized in the Israeli state.
What will be the social, legal and religious ramifications of this new tacit sanctioning of same-sex 'marriage' in Israel?

Joseph Pisenti of RealLifeLore ( previously ) offers a “brief overview” of the longest pedestrian distance between two points on the Earth’s surface. This 14,334 mile trek, which commences at L’Agulhas, South Africa and terminates in Magadan, Russia , takes about three years to complete and also poses a great number of likely hazards to encounter within every border crossed. It has never been done.
Nobody in history has ever before managed to complete this real-life achievement. People have already climbed the tallest mountain, sunk to the deepest part of the ocean and even landed on the moon, but nobody has ever accomplished the longest possible walk.
So what would it actually be like for you if you decided to become the first. Here is a brief overview of both the horrible and amazing things that you would end up experiencing.
