Hello house, Pls let's discuss... What is it called when your crush has a crush on you? |
Perhaps we are in a state of equilibrium! Henry Louis Le Chatelier, a French chemist of the late 19th and early 20th centuries posited... “When a chemical system is in equilibrium and one of the factors involved in the equilibrium is altered, the equilibrium will shift so as to tend to annul the effect of the change.” In other words, “when a system experiences a disturbance (such as concentration, temperature, or pressure changes), it will respond to restore a new equilibrium state." Although originally formulated for chemical processes, the Le Chatelier's principle has been applied to Economics (price equilibrium) and Biology (homeostasis). I believe this principle can explain what is going on in our dear country (Nigeria). The more we fight corruption by changing the tactics, the more aggressive the equilibrium shifts to cancel the change! Paraphrasing Le Chatelier's principle then... “When a corrupt system is stable and one of the things supporting the stability is attacked the corrupt system will shift so as to tend to nullify the source and effect of the attack.” May reason fall on us. |

without the resources from south west and south south, the whole country will be a mess economically. people from all other regions flee to south west for greener pasture, therefore, it is right to say south west carries the burdens that the failure of all other regions in the country on its shoulder. the infrastructures are being overstreched on a daily basis while inflow of people continues. you are right op, the entire south west region deserves a special status |
i had a few experience i'd love to share... 1. my parent told me that more than once, doctors (family doc inclusive) advised them to terminate me while in my mother's womb bcause of abnormal signs given everytime my parents went for an altrasound test 2. during the Ife vs Modakeke crisis in 1997 in Ile-ife, one faithful evening, my dad and i were returning home from Oshogbo unknown to us that the cease fire agreement won't last, we jejelly walked into battle ground. we were lucky not to have gotten shot but the two guys at about 50meter coming behind us were gunned down. 3. last but not the least, this happened in 2008 in ife south lg area, ifetedo, Osun state. working and living in the town, one bad evening at about 9pm, there was a fatal accident that involved a truck and a car. the car driver was hooked by the dashboard while his legs and hands were broken. we 6 able bodied young men tried to rescue him but were all later crushed by a long truck. everybody got brutaly injured except me. we lost 2 men |
