Two Court of Appeal judgements foreclosed this issue and exonerated him from Certificate Forgery.

The Principal admitted that the Registry in the school made those administrative errors but can confirm that Adeleke indeed attended the school from 1976-1981. (He testified in Court in 2018)

WAEC also confirmed that Adeleke indeed sat for WASSCE but only for one subject: English Language which was Fatai mesan. (WAEC also testified in Court)

The Osun High Court exonerated him of forgery, and this was upheld by the Appeal Court in Akure.

2 APC Chieftains went on with the suit at the FCT High Court and the Court said he wasn't qualified. He appealed and the Court of Appeal, Abuja cleared him and absolved him of forgery.

Two of the Judges on the panel at the Appeal Court in Abuja are now in the Supreme Court.

The problem is not the over voting but cancelling of polling units, it is wrong when there is BVAS, read my article again.

They don't cancel the poll unit thy cancelled the over voting. The over voting was done by both candidates.. Read the article very well is on pdp vote that was cancelled, even APC too is just that the thing affect pdp more.

Look there is over voting in both sides, both pdp and APC over vote. The thing is pdp own was more. There was vote reduction from both candidates. In the original results the pdp guy scored 403k while the APC guy scored 375k but now, the APC guy has 315k while PDP guy has 270k. After finding out the method used for the judgement on the election tribunal that gave victory to Oyetola over Adeleke, I would say it is a recipe for disaster, the method applied was cancelling all the votes of a polling unit because of over voting in that particular polling unit.


The questions I ask are:

1. As it happened that there were over voting in various polling units in the Osun election, what if each opposition connives to perpetrate over voting in polling units in each opposition strong holds?

2. What then is the use for BVAS in over voting if after the BVAS is able to identify the number of over votes only to end up cancelling all votes(valid) and over votes(invalid)?

3. If there is an election tribunal like this and a rerun takes place, what if the same over voting keeps occurring over and over, would they keep repeating the election tribunal process and back to rerun again?

In my opinion, the law is just an error or a purposeful scheme to rig an election using what I call reverse voting
Just simply tamper with your opposition strong holds and invalidate their votes, So we might be having a case where a carefully selected and protected minority will determine winners of an election instead of the majority carrying the votes.


Implications:

1. It will make elections become very dirty because politicians will be all about scheming to invalidate votes in opposition strong holds.

2. It will make the voters lose confidence in the electoral process, because a voter will not be sure if his vote will be invalidated or not by someone else scheming with a politician in his/her polling unit.

3. It will make voters wear out easily and may cause voter apathy when you have reruns after stressful elections, thereby reducing voters turn-up in reruns.

4. It may not reflect the true will of the people and also reduce the total number of voter participation, just like the Osun election tribunal, the total number of votes cast for both PDP and APC after the cancellation doesn't reflect the true will of the people to declare Oyetola the winner.

5. Elections will cost more because of Tribunal, reruns and time wasting.

6. It could lead to anarchy and total chaos, like in some volatile states in the north where they riot over political results, just imagine after election and INEC says they have cancelled over 20,000 polling units across the north which were all stronghold of a particular candidate, because of over voting of less than 2000 voters, imagine what will happen in the aftermath of such news.

Solution:

In situations of over voting, Why not just deduct the invalid votes(over votes) and count the rest, the BVAS already identifies the number of over votes(invalid votes), doing so, INEC will avoid a lot of election tribunals, scheming by politicians, reduce cost of doing reruns, make more accurate results, increase voters confidence, reduce time wasting, reflect the true will of the people and avoid anarchy.[/quote]

The BVAS is truly a game changer and should ordinarily be above manipulation.

2) The BVAS ascertains or validates voters' identity, and it is mandatory prior to voting. Every voter must be BVAS'ed before they are issued with a ballot to vote. In short, BVAS accredits voters.

3) After elections, the results are then collated and entered manually on INEC form EC8As. However, the number of voters on INEC Form EC8A must never exceed the number of accredited voters on BVAS. That's over-voting and automatic cancellation under the EA 2022.

4) When a winner was declared by INEC in Osun elections, it was assumed by all that the BVAS and Form EC8As tallied. It was thought that Adeleke won and Oyetola lost.

5) APC applied for the BVAS report and Form EC8AS to file their petition days after the winner was declared.

6) APC in preparing their Petition found discrepancies between BVAS report and FORM EC8As in over 700 polling units. The votes recorded on Form EC8As literally exceeded were BVAS accredited. There were over-voting by people who must have literally bypassed the BVAS either for not having PVC or other dubious reasons.

7) Once INEC, PDP, and the Governor were served with the APC Petition, they all filed their responses and added another entirely different BVAS report, which INEC now called a "SYNCHRONISED BVAS Report.". So, there were two BVAS reports before the Tribunal. The one issued to APC before they filled their petition and the one issued to PDP during the pendency of the petition.

8.) At the Tribunal, each party strove to prove which BVAS was credible and which was not.
