Are the Nigerians or Britons?
Their all British - Products of the British system. |
cap28:Spot on. GEJ-Aganga-Iweala-Sanusi - Non of these people are working for Nigeria. They work for external parties interested in controlling and pillaging Nigeria. She's already mentioned her interest in commodities - her interest in transfering them to the West. I genuinely fear for Nigeria. |
Nigeria needs to withdraw from ECOWAS immediately - Or act like Britain by supporting it but not being a part of it. The EU is a failed experiment - the stronger members of the EU spend Billions bailing out the weaker members. Just imagine if border controls are removed amongst the ECOWAS member states - Nigeria will be swamped with Africans from the weaker member states and there would be nothing we could do about it. Likewise if a member country runs into financial trouble then it would be nations like Nigeria that will be responsible for bailing them out. ECOWAS have a parliament - Soon laws will be made by ECOWAS and imposed on the Nigerian people and we wont have any say in the matter. I blame Gowon for this - In my eyes now he's the worst Nigerian to ever live. |
My understanding of the euro situation is by no means perfect or at expert level, I'm just a layman trying to understand some things. But from what I know, the problem with the euro is that you've tied some very fiscally responsible and strong countries (led by Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, a few other northern European countries, essentially. See the article in my signature) to some fiscally irresponsible and weak countries (Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, basically the southern European countries). In West Africa (and Africa more generally), we are all largely similarly undeveloped and fiscally irresponsible, I suppose? So perhaps a common currency will work out better. The euro is a pretty good idea, but it sort of requires countries that are sort of similar. Not responsible and frugal countries tied to profligate ones. I think you can pull it off in West Africa, and it may work out pretty well.
You really dont have a clue - do you? The Euro is failing before everyone's eyes and you think its a good idea. And you somehow reason that it will work out better for 'fiscally underdeveloped irresponsible' countries. Please confirm that either: 1) You were joking or 2) You are crazy. |

ECOWAS is no different to the European Union. The objectives are identical. Where laws are made in Brussels and then implemented in the various member states without citizens being able to vote or have any say in whats being imposed on them. The EU has totally screwed up Europe - Member states such as Greece and Ireland have lost their sovereignity and are now being totally screwed. Why do we keep on adopting these flawed alien systems from the West? We're really doomed. |
PROFILE: ECONOMIC COMMUNITY OF WEST AFRICAN STATES (ECOWAS) HISTORY AND BACKGROUND: The idea for a West African community goes back to President William Tubman of Liberia, who made the call in 1964. A subsequent agreement was signed between Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone in February 1965, but this came to nothing. In April 1972, General Gowon of Nigeria and General Eyadema of Togo re-launched the idea, drew up proposals and toured 12 countries, soliciting their plan from July to August 1973. A meeting was then called at Lomé from 10-15 December 1973, which studied a draft treaty. This was further examined at a meeting of experts and jurists in Accra in January 1974 and by a ministerial meeting in Monrovia in January 1975. Finally, 15 West African countries signed the treaty for an Economic Community of West African States (Treaty of Lagos) on 28 May 1975. The protocols launching ECOWAS were signed in Lomé, Togo on 5 November 1976 . In July 1993, a revised ECOWAS Treaty designed to accelerate economic integration and to increase political co-operation, was signed. ECOWAS has been designated one of the five regional pillars of the African Economic Community (AEC). Together with COMESA, ECCAS, IGAD and SADC, ECOWAS signed the Protocol on Relations between the AEC and RECs in February 1998. OBJECTIVES: ECOWAS aims to promote co-operation and integration in economic, social and cultural activity, ultimately leading to the establishment of an economic and monetary union through the total integration of the national economies of member states. It also aims to raise the living standards of its peoples, maintain and enhance economic stability, foster relations among member states and contribute to the progress and development of the African Continent. ECOWAS integration policies and programmes are influenced by the prevailing economic conditions in its member countries, the need to take the principal provisions of the AEC Treaty into account, and relevant developments on the international scene. The revised treaty of 1993, which was to extend economic and political co-operation among member states, designates the achievement of a common market and a single currency as economic objectives, while in the political sphere it provides for a West African parliament, an economic and social council and an ECOWAS court of justice to replace the existing Tribunal and enforce Community decisions. The treaty also formally assigned the Community with the responsibility of preventing and settling regional conflicts. STRUCTURE: The Community consists of the Authority of Heads of State and Government, the Council of Ministers, the Mechanism for Conflict Prevention, Management and Resolution, Peace and Security, the Community Tribunal, the ECOWAS Parliament, the Executive Secretariat and six Specialised Technical Commissions. The ECOWAS Treaty also makes provision for an Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), with an advisory role, to be composed of representatives of the “various categories of economic and social activity”. This body has not yet been established. http://www.iss.co.za/Af/RegOrg/unity_to_union/ecowasprof.htm |
SMH - ![]() How many 'Yanks' were extradited to Nigeria over the 'Chevron Scams'? How many 'Shell Executives' have been brought to trial for 'Corporate Negligence'? Seems this relationship we share with America is very biased. Why couldn't the 'Govt' sieze the guys assets and put him on trial here for money laundering like the way the 'British' are dealing with Ibori? At least they would get to hold onto the money and re-invest it in the Nigerian economy. Afterall, the money Ibori stole will be seized by the British. Look at how many millions the swiss seized from Mohammed Abacha under the name of money laundering - why was the money not returned to the Nigerian govt? |
By Ike Abonyi The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has handed over a Nigerian, Emmanuel Ekhator to a United States Court for his involvement in a $32 million trans-border internet scam. Two others, whose names were not disclosed, are awaiting extradition to the US to answer to the same charges. Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Mrs. Farida Waziri, according to a statement by the commission in Abuja Friday said Nigeria would no longer be a hiding place for criminals fleeing from law enforcement agents in other countries. She said this while briefing officers of the commission on the successful handover of Ekhator, adding that he is the third Nigerian to be extradited in recent times. "While George Ubeozor was extradited in 2008, Sunday Adebisi Adegbesan was handed over in 2009 both to the authorities in New York. The Latest to suffer the same fate, Ehkator was indicted in the U.S. District court in Pennsylvania on November 3, 2010 over a $32 million Internet collections scam," the statement read. According to the statement, Ekhator was arrested in August last year and the extradition process was filed through the office of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice. His extradition was recently approved by a federal high court in Lagos on July 26th, 2011. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/-32m-scam-efcc-hands-over-indicted-nigerians-to-us/96410/ https://www.westafricannewsinternational.net/topstory/july_2011/Emmanuel_Ekhator.jpg |

Hertsnite:Lewis Hamilton and Rio Ferdinand are not black - they are mixed race and have been raised by whites. And quite frankly 'jews' have always been the worst threat to society. What's your 'Biatches' view on Palestine? That thet Palestinians should leave their land for the jews? Or that the 'Palestinians' are nothing but trouble? Blacks will continue to penetrate Europe whilst at the same time slowly ridding Africa of Whites. Caucasians are the minoority race in this world - research it yourself. |
Paul Joseph Watson Prison Planet.com Tuesday, August 9, 2011 Given the fine example set in Libya, it follows that the rebels who expressed their grievances against the establishment last night by burning and looting half of London and other cities around the UK should swiftly be given their own embassy and declared the legitimate government of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. ![]() David Cameron and the Queen need to relinquish power immediately now that their authority to rule has been so clearly and justifiably undermined. The actions by police to disperse these rebels also amounts to an international war crime and mandates an immediate humanitarian intervention from the NATO powers. If Cameron and the Queen fail to step down and recognize the rebels as the legitimate government, US warplanes are on standby to enforce a “no fly zone” over Great Britain. ![]() Reports are also circulating that NATO will target the Prime Minister and his entire family for assassination if he refuses to vacate London. The rebels who are attempting to liberate themselves from a corrupt regime by ransacking JD Sports clothing outlets should be be embraced, commended, and supported by the international community. ![]() http://www.prisonplanet.com/cameron-to-step-down-recognize-rioters-as-legitimate-government-satire.html |
So sad. . . . I'm sure the guy made the mistake of trying to chat up a 'Jammo Babe'. Sounds like one of her many former lovers took issue with this and blasted the man. (just speculating) Think its about time Nigerians in London arm themselves with guns and fire back every now and again. |
Whites living in fear - I love it. ![]() Most of those 'blacks' only have british passports - so where are you going to deport them too? They are very much british and have every right to smash up their country. ![]() |

Croydon is on fire!!! |
r231:Be careful - (If you happen to pass JD sports get me a pair of Reebok Classics - Size 11) |
lepasharon:Lies!!!! What's your source? |
r231:Look out of your window and track the smoke - then report back to us on what part of deptford is on fire. Hope you dont live above a shop. |
r231:Deptford is on fire . . . . Any blazing houses yet on your street? Have you packed some things just in case? Or are you out looting? |
r231:Peckham as well? London is in trouble - Brixton is also about to erupt. The same will happen in Catford i'm sure. |
r231:I hope she is not in Lewisham town centre looting - ![]() Tell her to remain at home and be vigilant. You need to bypass Lewisham on your journey home. |
r231:Let me guess - You live in Lewisham. Na wa ohh. . . . . . maybe you should head back to Hackney? ![]() |
IBEXY:Many 'Somalians' in Lewisham - and they are already battle hardened. Hackney will be bad - but Lewisham worse. |
coogar:A blast to one kneecap should be ok - but not to both knee caps. And try not to follow it up with a head shot - you wont be able to convince the jury that you were just protecting yourself. |
coogar:If your gun is registered you can use 'reasonable force' to defend yourself and property. If the gun is illegal dont use it - unless your just firing warning shots. instead grab a knife but again remember you can only use reasonable force. |
r231:Dont call her into that area - for her own safety. Its best you head to the nearest undergroud station and head to a station she can pick you. Dont make her come into Hackney right now - its too risky!!! |
r231:Look - you are not safe. Roads are already blocked off and public transport (buses) at a stand still. The crowds will only grow and once they finish looting JD sports they may descend on the town hall. Get out of the area immediately. |
