It doesn’t itch at all and I moisturize her regularly. From her birth I used coconut oil and chicco oil for her hair and the soap. When the soap finished, my husband bought another and I kinda felt it’s not original even though he bought it from H medics. I stopped the soap and bought this soap sold in the hospital by those immunization nurses, I also started using ori on her as well since the coconut oil dries out easily.
Still I’m seeing this

The thing with coconut oil is that you have to keep applying it on her skin, as often as you can but it worked wonders for my baby.

It's dry skin, happened to my baby too. Pls use original coconut oil and see her skin glowing within a week.

Good morning Mamas, does anyone know what could be the cause and possibly cure to this irritation on my baby’s body? I noticed it early December and I initially felt it’s the weather cause we stay in Abuja. It kept spreading and I had to complain to the doctor and she prescribed tribotan. I used it for 2 weeks and I saw no changes instead it kept spreading the more. I visited the hospital on Monday and another cream was prescribed, of which I was told to observe for 2 weeks. I’m currently using the cream but I’ll like to know if the cause could possibly be something I’m not doing right. I’ll really appreciate your inputs as it’s making me worry.
Also is it normal for baby’s poop to harden with time? She’s 4 months old and still on EBF, I wonder what makes her poop different from before and she poops every 3 days. Hope this isn’t out of the ordinary?



On another note, congratulations to all Mamas that have birthed their Lo’s, it’s been a while I visited here as vigilante has overwhelmed me coupled with the fact that I’m doing it alone with hubby. My baby had this same issue, what I did was to constantly apply coconut oil which I prepared myself. Note that consistency is key. Moisturize as much as 5 - 6 times a day or whenever the skin feels dry just apply coconut oil. You will see results, cheers.

The other day i ate one mango that hubby called dysentry mango and my EBF 3 month old started stooling, even pooed green slimy poo but it all lasted less than 24 hours. So I'd say watch yours for 24 hours and if it's not getting better, go to the hospital.

Pls follow the hospital's instruction and feed the child. That's what I did with my son till my milk flowed and I stopped the formular and continued with only breast milk. He still got the colostrum, so listen to them. Congrats to you and ur wifey.
