40manlappy: I think the bolded is a case of mistaken identity. Can't recall posting that
Anyway, I did part-time MBA too and I don't think it affected the calculation of my work experience in any way. Yet to come across that issue in respect of Canadian immigration. Maybe for Australian skill assessment.... So sorry @40manlappy . It was actually @elfmann. Mine were both full time (MBA and work). Though still hanging in for ECA and Ielts. |

Wow! Jst got back here now to meet plenty good news. Congrats to the PPR recipients.
Please for iqas eca application, do I also need to send checklist to school in addition to the academic record request form? Also after filling my portion on the academic record request form, hope I can scan the form for them to print and complete their part. I honestly tot these thing were easy oo but now fear of mistake is causing all des too many questions. |

Folar2: If you have Access Bank Naira Mastercard Debit, you can try it. I paid IQAS fee two days back using same naira debit card and was successful. I was charged NGN59,233.44 for CAD 215. This mean the rate used was 275.50
However, you can only do equivelent to 200USD monthly on Access bank while GTBank have 1000 USD monthly. I have neither of the cards. I am trying wells fargo, fcmb dollar Mastercard and diamond credit card. None is going through. Infact I jst got prompted that I have exceeded card attempt that I can only pay with money order or cheque now. |

yimiton: Are you using a Naira denominated debit card? If yes, you need to get a dollar denominated card to successfully pay. If you have a GT bank account, you can get one immediately. You'll however, be required to fund the account with dollars. Just walk into a GTbank and ask about their Pre-paid dollar card. Information on it should also be available online. Am using my husbands wells fargo card. It's a USD card |

Abby2017: Ommission of your middle name shouldn't be a problem. Provided the other names on the certificate match name on your international passport(or affidavit of change of name, if you have ever changed) and other documents, you are good. Thank you for ur response. Please do u tink I need to swear an affidavit for this. Since its the only document I have that does not capture my middle name . Other gurus should advice too please |

Hello everyone, Finally got my MBA statement of result earlier this week. Programme started 2011. To get result has been back and forth especially since I have left the location. Also school has been on strike since last yr but resumed last week. I have a problem which is that they omitted my middle name entirely on the statement of result. Not even an abbreviation of it, dey only wrote my surname and first name.(maiden name) Please what do I do? I am in the process of iqas verification, was hoping to fax it today. Gurus please help! |

elfmann: 2015-2017? Claim 2yrs from 2011-2014. It depends on d months oh. Claim NYSC year as FT and 2010 too as FT. If u have evidence in d form of salaries payments into a bank account..u r cool when u a called to support ur claims. Get d reference letter for these years and roles. All u need is 3yrs of FT to claim d max points on work experience. I Left the organisation in June 2013. If am able to get reference letter for nysc from dem it means I can claim up to 3yrs job experience . Cos 2008(nysc yr) to 2011 is already 3 yrs . Also Since I started d MBA in 2011 and left the job 2013, I can also claim few months to 1yr if d job from 2011 to 2013 wen I left is termed part time. The problem is nysc reference, I knw I can get for d proper job. The remaining years - late 2013 to date have all been on 2 different NOC. None is more dan 2yrs. |

I no thief the degree and I no thief the work so I'd just leave the truth as it is. Shebi they said "Truth shall make you free". Hehehe Honestly I need the points both MBA and maximum job experience will fetch me. I am planning on claiming part time for the MBA. Don't know if that is possible. |

40manlappy: @supedoll You are good to go by evaluating just your MBA which has higher points than "2 or more certificates". Don't bother yourself with the BSc. Please read the first few pages of this thread diligently for more insights. Cheers!
@Fusion23, I sight you!
How is it going? Tnk u so much @40manlappy and @segunwamiri Pls if I am using my MBA, can I still claim 6yrs experience even though 5yrs of the experience is pre-MBA qualification. (Got MBA 2014, worked in the bank 2009 to 2015) I am worried if they recognise only post qualification experience |
