I used calcium for like 2 months during my first pregnancy and I did same for this.
I just stopped using it last week.

I don't think it's really important except it's prescribed by your doctor.

Some mamas only use folic acid and ferrous throughout their pregnancy. You can ask your doctor on your next appointment.

HMO stands for Health Maintenance Organization.

It is a network of hospitals that offer healthcare services, usually preventive. So you pay a premium on a plan and get access to healthcare service from any hospital in the network available on your plan of choice.

So for example if you pay 50,000 for a one year plan, the HMO will pay your hospital bills anytime you goto the hospital throughout the year.

Note: most structured companies have plans already for their staff (and spouses) so check with your HR dept (if you don't have a HR dept, you probably don't have a HMO plan).
Also most basic HMO plans do not cover child birth in the first year, so make sure to ask what your plan covers and the hospitals on the network before you pay for any plan.

I believe HMOs have different packages that they offer. You'd need to check with your HMO provider which package or plan you're under.


Some packages cover delivery, feeding, accommodation for you and a relative while some do not.

Others cover single birth, multiple births surgeries, vaginal delivery or CS.

Like you rightly mentioned, they help bear all or most of the costs.

However, you'd need to contact your HMO provider for your health benefits. This will help you plan better.

have you gotten the list of the things you need to buy? I have not gotten any list from my hospital, and as a first time mum i really don't know all the things i need to get. if anyone can post a list here i would appreciate it.

Please I want to sell off my big wardrobe to free up space in my room and to enable me paint and carry out other adjustments. Room already has an inbuilt wardrobe so there is no point keeping this one. The wardrobe is quite big and the mirror is a 5mm mirror (abi how them dey measure am sef ). Very thick and strong mirror sha


The wardrobe has some minor fixes that the buyer will need to do, mainly the hinges for the door with the mirror, then the handles for the three drawers at the bottom. Other than that, nothing else. Wardobe comes in very good finishing and quality and it can go for reasonable offers.

I am please to announce that my dear wife gave birth to a baby boy yesterday evening at almost 38 weeks via CS.

Baby weighed 3.6kg at birth.
