am not begging Tecno for anything even tho am enjoying the c8 now It is my last Tecno product ...they never shd hav Bleep wit me... why would they made a fone and tweaking to become a Java phone, they made me lament for one and half month I won't forgive tecno.. and they didn't even border giving us a fix.... , I made sure almost all my family members got the GIONEE m3 and gionee m2 well am waiting patiently for for giomee m4 to cone to nigeria then I say a final good bye to the Tecno product

I THINK RAM MANAGER Has actually fixed my multitasking problem it exceeded 800mb and the cache process is more than what it used to be.........

yes I installed vcom drivers ooo in the system next device manager

Finally rooted now how to we make this c8 RAM usage exceed 800mb to allow it multitask to it fullest

baba na lie nothing was fixed.... Seriouly it just a waste of time reloading the rom doesn't fix anything... I tot it was actually fixed.. But after some days I discovered that it still the same fucking problem.... Ram doesn't exceed 780 if anyone one exceed 800 ram usage plss notify us ooooo

shut up shut it up ahhhh which kind person u be self u no even know anything u just saying rubbish ..ram is the only thing making a phone to multitask ....when I was using the 512 ram phones I enjoyed multi tasking far more than now that am using camon c8 of 1 gig ram ...I hav used tecno m5 of 1 gig ram too I know what am talking abt ...the problem with this fone is the over aggressive ram management the tweaked into the phone......if u study the phone closely the ram doesn't exceed 780 ram once it get to maybe 780 it closes most background apps running ....If yours ever reaches 800mb pls let us know ...and mr ollah plsss get understand things very well b4 u start misleading those that does hav the knowledge we discussing....... no offenses

And I got my multitasking problem fixed today.... At carlcare service... All the engineer did was to reload the rom he has..... And now I think the problem is solved.......

I was asked to take it to tecno carlcare. The engineer said he will reload the phone...

sincerely speaking, most of the problems you guys are pointing out doesn't affect my phone except multitasking & it only affect my browser I repeat my browser. whenever am on bbm and I decided to do something else on the phone, I still get bbm notifications. so I dunno anything you are talking about.

thank God u pointed out multitasking as a problem too....well... Me am loving the phone it alonr the multitasking leak that is problem nd the system app ram consumption..... ... Nothing more

Thank you for that observation on their tab running the same lollipop 1 GB RAM did a great job there.. Someone once said 1 GB ram cannot handle lollipop whereas even the tecno 7C multitask as normal..
This issue is a bug from the developer
When I run candy crush I notice the system ram usage reducing to like 300+ MB all other background process closed
Giving me about 400 MB free RAM to play the game... That is why it handles Games smoothly

Well where I see the problem is from DEVELOPER. The tecno c8 developer did a very rubbish work he didn't even test very well he just made the mistake nd no one noticed,,, am hoping nd believing that Tecno will fix this problem In Jesus... Cos all I can do now is hope in them.....

Multi tasking and rooting became a problem on tecnk phone,,,, of all problems

There should be a way to fix this poor multitasking problem on this decive.......... And is not that the RAM gets filled up ooo the makes it close the ones running the RAM is always remaining is supposed to be able to run all other apps effectively.... I THINK it a bug and root should fix it with RAM MANAGER.... OR WHT DO U GUYS THINK

To those complaining of poor multitasking, it's either u are heavy user of internal storage or u bought a fake product. Try to use more of your SD card and stop making derogatory comments here. I bought the phone because of the encouraging comments I read on this thread.

c8 does not hav the move to sd card features na abi ur own get?

This Sim icon has been there since the first day I inserted my sims. It says "Sim cards have changed, tap to set preferences" . A single tap takes me to Sim options while long tap takes me to settings. There is nothing I haven't done, yet the icon won't leave. I removed and inserted the sim, no changes. Seems the tecno Camon C8 bootloader has to be unlocked before the phone can be rooted....for those who have the device, Please go to Dialpad and press :*#*#7378423#*#* . Go to Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. Look at Boot loader unlocked allow and if it's show No you cant unlock bootloader. Otherwise, you can unlock your bootloader.

. tried this now but nothing is happening developer plsss help ooo I swear I can pay any one who help me root this baby oo cos am really missing the works of rooting on this device ..
