The Airtel operamini stopped working since last week. I thought I was the only one experiencing this till I checked Airtel's facebook & twitter handles to lodge my complaint, only to discover that many people are also experiencing this.

According to the costumer care agent in charge of these handles, the problem was being treated today is making it one week since this problem started. I haven't received any notification of any kind from Airtel about this which I feel is very wrong as their costumers deserve to know what exactly is going on.

What makes this even more painful is the fact that I still have an active data bundle of more than 120mb and their recently introduced WTF bundle. Who knows maybe the new bundle is also a means to scam people of their money by one blocking it from working.

Anywhere, my airtel sim is currently resting as I don't see its usefulness until the issue is rectified.

If only they know the realities on ground in the rural areas. Tell me,what's the point in developing the urban areas,while neglecting the rural areas that contain more than 70% of the population?? Is that development?


I'm not saying Governor Akpabio hasn't done anything. Heck! He has tried,even more than his predecessor(s). But why neglect the rural areas?

please say what you know. Have you ever been to these rural areas before or you just want to criticize?
I remember when I visited my villa 5months ago. The electricity supply there was almost 24hrs nonstop which is not the same thing obtainable here in the city. The man has really tried, I hope the next Governor will take after his developmental strides.

Soknown: The Governor is doing averagely ok compared to other states, But when you compare the huge revenue accruing to this state and the relatively small population ( about 6 million) and heavy debt profile one might have a rethink. He has laid a good infrastructure foundation, I think he could have done more in programs that impact directly on Akwa-Ibom citizens. I don't know about his programs on health, Education, Employment/Entrepreneur support. I don't reside in Akwa-ibom but do visit once in a while. it would be nice to hear from indigenes on the programs I mentioned.

Currently, there is a free education programme going on in the state since Mr. Akpabio emerged as Governor and health wise, there is also an ongoing free medical care for infants and old people aged 65yrs+. The man is good!
