So, APC foremost priority is the rebranding of PDP. Not about whether Nigerians get the promised "change" they were busy chanting and people still don't seem to get that this Government is chasing frivolities. I mean what is our business with whether PDP go down or not. What we need is the promised change not diverting our attention to trivialities! |

I think that would make a whole lot of sense. If that will bring peace and harmony to the country, so that a particular section of the country won't feel marginalized and everyone would focus of developing their country. |

agohmamuda: In that case. It's simple. Everyone who was born after Jesus. Does not have an excuse. U believe, you are saved. You don't, God knows. As per the repentance in the grave part. U don't expect God to condem them, God doesn't want them to say stuffs like We died before Christ was born that was why Jesus had to introduce Himself to them in the grave. I have given scriptural back up to my point. Read more or consult ur Pastor if you aren't clear or convinced. Happy Sunday. You haven't answered my question. So, In essence, people that die without hearing of the Gospel are preached to by Pastors that die. Don't forget that Ecclesiastics 9v10 says that there is no knowledge nor wisdom in the grave. Anyway, Thanks for your contribution. |
Christianity Etc › Re: . by Superstar007(op): 11:05am On Oct 25, 2015 |
agohmamuda: Lol. Your question should take this form: What will happen to all those that died before Jesus Christmas came??
Answer : Jesus went to the grave to preach to them about himself. Those who believed are saved. Those who didn't. God knows.
1 Pet 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 1 Pet 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 1 Pet 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. There is a popular interpretation of this passage, in conjunction with the Apostles' Creed, that Jesus, after His death on the cross, descended into Hades/ Hell/prison to preach to spirits there. (The Roman Catholics call this place that Jesus supposedly visited after His death "limbus patrum", or limbo of the fathers. That is not my question. Bro Jesus christ had departed from Earth long before these people existed. Remember the Bible says there is no repentance in the grave and also after death comes judgment so isn't this contradictory to your post? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Post Your 'Front Page-Worthy' TOPICS And LINKS Here by Superstar007(m): 10:15am On Oct 25, 2015 |
emusmith: Hello Friends, With so many threads created here; some "Front Page Worthy" and others "NOT Front Page Worthy", we would love to really have a more organized and impactful section that will make Front Page more often than it has been.
For example:
TOPIC: Sex Destroyed Me; Took Away My Luck. I Need Help
LINK: https://www.nairaland.com/2248983/sex-destroyed-me-took-away
After taking this step, don't bother reminding myself and other moderators/supermods to move it to Front page because if it is Front Page Worthy, it will surely make Frontpage in the Appropriate Time.
Consider this thread a clarion call to sanitizing the Religious Section. In the bid to doing so, the following information needs to be well understood:
1. Do not discriminate any belief you know little or nothing about. If you must contribute, do that with courtesy, respect and maturity.
2. Religion lay emphasis on a Higher Being, be it Christianity, Islam, Buddhaism etc and I believe they all promote good living, kindness, love and respect. Through your help, we'll ensure(the best way we can) all these virtues are being restored to this section.
3. Before creating or quoting any thread, remember the rules of Nairaland. They will be enforced on anyone who breaks them
NB: Only Religious Threads Are Allowed Here!
Questions and Complaints will also be taken.
Thank You. What Will Happen To These People? https://www.nairaland.com/2689234/what-happen-these-people |

Orikinla: These guys are making millions on YouTube while D'Banj and PSquare are making noise on their millions of views on YouTube. D'Banj, PSquare, Whizkid and Davido should have channels on YouTube Red and charge PAY PER VIEW for their music videos. Even if people are paying as little as 50 cents per view of music videos, they will be making millions of dollars every year. Bro, YouTube doesn't work that way. YouTube is owned by Google and they are the only people to dictate its usage. Google runs a sort of partnership programme with channel owners who want to serve ads on their channels. That's where the money comes from, the more the views you get on a video, the higher the pay. |

armadeo: I entered one chance on allen in 2005. There was a mad crowd at the bustop and an unpainted cab came by with the driver yelling Ikeja Ikeja.
Me feeling like a lag boy used speed to enter the front seat. When the cab got moving I realised it was still empty only me and one guy entered that's when I realised I don enter..
I felt light headed almost a swoon but I regained clarity. I just waited for the scam to begin. True to type we got to Allen round about and the guy at the back drops and pays the driver with a hundred dollar bill that he drops in my lap. I just waved the cash over without directly looking at it.
In my mind I be like God punish this bastards
The driver shows me the bill and says look oh.
I give him a blank stare.
He calls the other guy back and they begin the narrative. You know the usual
I a.m. from Liberia
Ok
I only have this currency
We only use naira here
Where can I get
Airport
I have a lot can I trust you
There's another person here who is neutral we can all go together
Here I contribute to the discussion
Ok I said. One word this guys are really dumb
We get to ikeja and as usual there's always traffic. I alight without another word while the driver is rambling about being a deacon and serving in his church bla bla bla.
Saved 50bucks that day. Free ride. What did you tell them? Bro. |

Phones › Apple Loses Patent Lawsuit, Could End Paying About A Billion Dollars In Damages by Superstar007(op): 12:55pm On Oct 14, 2015 |
A U.S jury has ruled that Apple used technology patented by the University of Wisconsin - Madison in its iPhones and iPad processors. The Wisconsin Alumni Research foundation sued Apple (WARF) sued Apple in January 2014 alleging that A7, A8, A8X processors used in the IPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 plus as well as many versions of the iPad used technology developed by the University and patented in 1998. Apple Inc. had denied infringing on the patent and had previously petitioned the U.S Patent and Trademark Office to review the patent's validity but the bid was rejected by the Agency in April. According to a ruling by U.S. District Judge, William Conley presiding over the case, Apple could be liable for up to $862.4 in damages for the use of the technology. The figure may go up if the company is found to have infringed on the patent willingly. The same patent has been used to sue a major technology company, it was used against Intel, although Intel settled on the eve of the trial. Last month, WARF sued Apple again for its use of the technology in its newest A9 and A9X chips used in it recently released iPhone 6s, 6s plus and the iPad pro.
