Preach. Friends I have fröm that side of the town speak very low of him. They curse him all day cos they believe he is the architect of the gunmen unknown. He is being used by the powers that be to perpetrate himself as a court governor in power. He does any bidding of those that gave him the supreme judgement
See eh, everybody is entitled to their opinion. Not here to absolve Hope of anything. I'm here to say he's done noble in the area of urban and rural regeneration

You're the one that is getting pained. Hope has been killing Imo state people. My wife is from Imo state and I do get first hand information.

Yes he's working agreed, but what's the need of working when those he's working for are dying?. After killing Imo people, who will use the infrastructures
This is not about the killings in Imo, hope maybe culpable, but I'm saying that he's working, taking care of federal roads ab initio abandoned by both federal and past state governments

Gov Hope uzodimma may not be a much loved Governor among vast majority of Imolites, owing to the situation associated to his emergence, but he has brased all odds to walk himself into the hearts of Imolites.

Undertaking federal projects like Owerri -Orlu road and Owerri-Mbaise-Umuahia federal highways.

This will surely open up Imo and bring more developments to the state

With Obi bringing an overwhelming evidence and witnesses who have performed 75% well,
I can tell you all for free that the tribunal will place national security above the rule of law and retain Tinubu as president.

Sadly but truly

Obi though will be so confident that he had achieved what took him to the court and future elections will not be tempered with as everyone is now watching.

Again, it is a win for Obi because it has etched his name in gold and will certainly rule Nigeria when it is the turn of the south again

Regards!
You stole the goodwill of millions of Nigerians without considering national security?. You must be a ma. dt man.

Truth and justice must not be sacrificed at the alter of national security.

I can bet you bros, some of the mama will never remain the same while some will spend enough money buying drugs.
I don't know if you saw one skit like that around late last year about rutual.

They go on whocup app and order girls, on arrival of the first girl, the guy just open door for her and the lady sit on the hotel room chair. The next thing, the guy said he wanted to quickly freshen up and before you know it, two guys just came out of the bathroom wearing red cloth like babalawo, carry a guy who pretended to be slaughtered. At first the girl was like " Oh my god " she started screaming and crying, while trying to escape they grab her as if they wanted to slaughter her na so the girl passed out / fainted. They were confused at first and started pouring her water, the girl came back alive and about to passout again before the useless guys shouted its a prank. The girl just weak, take her bag leave but she couldn't walk very well because she's more than traumatized.

After the girl left, do you know these guys still called another girl and play same script. This one happened to be junkie with load of craziness, immediately they came out again with red cloth and white calabash, this girl shouted and quickly grab the bottle of a whine beside the bed, the guy that rushed the girl first was so lucky not to be stab to death because this particular girl is ready to kill before they killed her. The fools started running inside the room shouting na prank, see camera, see camera, the girl used the bottle to threatning them and collected the agreed amount. Na so they stop, i really wish the girl stab the guy seriously maybe after spending like three months in intensive care unit their head will correct.
oh boy, that's terrible

I just want the government and the police to make it illegal and criminal offence pranking innocent people.

I saw one on facebook months ago pranking mothers of over 50 years upward threatning to bite them and infect them with madness, come and see how innocent mothers were running. Infact, there's a particular mama like that I'm sure the woman is battling with HBP with the way she is breathing after the whole madness.

I am sure very soon Nigerians will result to jungle justice against them because I can't believe pouring people to work, appointment water and call it comedy skit.

Hire crew, cast and make whatever you want and stop using peoples health, mental balance for skit to enrich yourself.
This is heartbreaking. What if any of those women dies of heart attack?. angry Honestly it's no longer funny. I support Tinubu and Nigerian police to regulate this

I agree with you. Lots of people suffering high blood pressure, they're still playing on them.

There's this other guy that's always on black suit and has dreadlocks. He usually rush to restaurants and bars, and scare them. You could watch elderly people struggling to run. It's not funny. It's annoying. I wouldn't wish anyone try that on any of my aged relatives.

It's not new. Someone installs it around kayode street at ogba in lagos and I've known about it close to 3 years.
I saw no need for it but I'm sure if I knew a 12.5 kg gas would last one week what the petrol equivalent would last just a day, I would have gotten it done.
The veracity of how economic and lasting the gas is compared to petrol is the main issue now.
I'm searching for who will install the carburetor for me.
12kg gas last for 2weeks on the generator according to the guy. But even if it is just 1week or 3days it's still better than spending minimum of 3000k-5000k every night just for home alone, not to talk of vehicles and office

I don't need to use it to prove it is not new because I don't even need it but see the attached The Guardian reportage.... note, the 2016 date.

I was involved in a project where our generator was powered by methane generated from farm waste ....so this is no big deal.
This is highly commendable

Using SE as a case Study

As the effect of Subsidy removal on PMS has continued to be felt among Nigerians, especially homes and businesses that relies primarily on petrol, a Nigerian from Anambra state, South East, seems to have proffered solution to counter the rising cost of petrol.

The man converts Generators which runs on petrol, to Gas powered Generators.

Since the removal of subsidy on Petrol, families and businesses spends average of N5000-N10000 naira to run Generators daily, while a cooking of 12kg which cost about N7000 can run a generator for more than a week.

Lots of households and businesses are converting their generators to gas powered generators to save cost.
This is a very welcomed development.

It will help drive down the cost of fuel.

fkj950ax:
My POV is the bolded phrases.
There is no network of these roads or is there a transport infrastructure anywhere.
Every State Gov and the FG are just building roads in isolation hoping they all connect somewhere down the line.
This is because there is no "Master Plan" whether nationally, regionally or state level.
No State or Governor should build a road, if it doesn't connect critical places or sectors INTENTIONALLY. We need to stop awarding contracts to awon boys or god fathers.

Concerning all the Tenders and Contract Award and Best Process and Transparency et al, we have the Public Procurement agency both at Federal Level and State Levels. They are just rubber stamping the State and FGs embezzlement practices
I beg to disagree with you on the bolded. Every sector of the economy is critical depending on how you see it. Let's say a governor awarded a contract to open a road where there's no businesses or residential homes.
The project won't be tagged useless because the idea is to open up the place and attract investments there. The value of the lands there will appreciate. Houses will start springing up there because it has motorable roads. Good roads attracts investments that's my point

What does growth enablers mean in the scheme of anything in Nigeria?
This is just another sound bite or media line from press releases the government uses when they commission these elephant project.

Economic Growth Enabler is just an euphemism for "your life MAY be better in FUTURE" - a lie public officials repeat year after year.

My question is what has been the impact of these projects on the socio economic status of people living in Nigeria? In layman's term, has standard of living improved? That is what I am trying to figure
What do you mean by has standard of living improved?. How else does government recirculate money if not through projects?. Do you know how many youths of the state and Eket. L. G. A that would have been employed by the company handling the job both directly and indirectly?. Do you know the multiplier effect on the economy of the locality and the state at large?. Do you know that goods and services will be sold to the company handling the job?. That means contractors, subcontractor and businesses will also smile to the bank. How else does economy grow?. If you don't know the importance of the road then it tells how old you are. When we talk about economic enablers we're not saying it for the benefit of politicians. For instance companies and businesses that are wishing to invest in any location would first factor in economic enablers like security of lives and properties/investment, road accessibility, electricity, taxation etc.
Tell us your version of how to grow economy, I'm waiting
