It's #250 here in Calabar. One sachet goes for #20 and two for #50 |
Igemburg:I thought of a virus attack too, but it seems okay. I don't know if I should update the software |
genius43:I hope it isn't. It has stopped tho. Thank you |
My redmi note 8 is restarting on its own and after it restarts, it activates this SOS emergency stuff. What could be the problem and what can I do about it? |
Oluwaseun1995:Kindly send a pm |

MY EXPERIENCE FROM CALABAR TO UYO AMID THE CORONA VIRUS TENSION On hearing the proposed closure of borders by the Rivers, Akwaibom and Cross-River state governments, I immediately picked a suitable day to travel, ignoring all social distancing rules. Despite the directive given by the Cross-River state government to motorists on reducing the number of passengers to be transported, we were still cramped at the back of the taxi (4 passengers) like on a normal day. Regardless of my efforts to enable me arrive the park by 0800hrs, I ended up getting there by 0915hrs, already feeling discouraged by the number of stranded passengers waiting for vehicles from different transport agencies along the popular Etta-Agbor road. This was further heightened by the number of students who were temporarily rendered homeless and had to choice but to return home. On entering AKTC park, it was a bigger form of discouragement due to the "emptiness" of the park littered with people's pieces of luggage and no buses in sight. "There is no bus o, if you book and you cannot wait, there is no refund" said the woman at the ticketing area. I had no choice but to proceed, afterall, AKTC is the most preferred choice for shuttling between Calabar and Uyo. After being allocated the letter "Q", I met a passenger with the letter "E". "Hei! God, 12 more buses to come", I said to myself. Wetin man go do, man's gat return home today. Everywhere seemed like a typical traveling period although the prices were still constant (quite surprising). People donned gloves and some had nose masks on but there was no distancing of any sort, no checking of travellers temperature , everywhere was crowded as people scrambled for shade due to the effect of the sun. Thankfully, no one displayed any "coronic" symptoms. Some NTA officials came to interview few travellers about the whole Corona issue and if they have been self-isolating. After waiting for 5hours, our bus finally arrived. It was another struggle to arrange the pieces of luggage and ensure everyone is settled. We kissed goodbye to the city of Calabar only to face one of the most degraded and abandoned roads in South South; Calabar-Itu highway. Constant plying along that road could give one a respiratory infection as it is filled with exhaust fumes and dusts particles. Despite the overly dusty roads decorated with potholes, some escort and patrol vehicles were still playing "fast and furious", tankers and trailers causing traffic on the dilapidated Itu river bridge. This neglect shows how the government does not give a hoot about what is happening down here and is not dedicated to ensuring that things are in order. For years, that road has been left unattended inasmuch as it's one of the busiest roads in the region. We finally arrived Uyo three hours later after swimming in an ocean of dust particles. Altogether, we spent 8 hours just to get to Uyo from Calabar. I just hope this pandemic will push the government to fix parts of the health sector considering the fact that everyone is stuck and they would become more proactive in handling sensitive issues such as this. BRYAN999:Ok. Unical's p-utme was quite simple. You just have to be conversant with some general questions (sometimes they are repeated, but don't depend on this) and your core subjects (for science students) . It's not hard, just perform well in the exams to boost your average score. |
BRYAN999:Yea. Nursing science...to be precise |
BRYAN999:Yea |
BRYAN999:Yea. There are no calculators. It's just general questions, sciences and few calculations that do not require the use of a calculator. |
Angelacruz:Hmm. That's a very poor score to get into dept of nursing Science. I won't discourage you but you have to perform very well in your p-utme. I hope your waec result is pretty good, too. |
atheistandproud:Abeg na. Na only question I ask, I no commit crime. Thanks anyway |
Good afternoon redmites, if I install gcam on my RN8, will I lose my pictures? |
Gptech:Alright. Thank you Modified: I just updated it and I've found the songs and other amazing features. Xiaomi is just too dope!!! |
Good morning people, I've noticed that not all of my songs are found in the music app even though they passed the requirements for hiding songs. I sent all of them via Xender but few are missing unless I play through Xender. What could be the problem? |
Treyknowles:I don't think it does. It should be the background apps or probably the network provider. Switching to 4G has drained life out of my data |
leppyj:This is mine...redmi note 8
|
genius43:Alright. Thank you |
leppyj:I haven't seen anything as "sound source". The only provision was "sound" which after activating it, didn't still help the situation |
Good evening all, I noticed when I use the screen record feature on my RN8, it doesn't play any sound after saving. Is it a redmi thing or something else? |
Undilutedme:Far less competitive than states universities? Maybe you are not in the medical college, talkless of being in unical. |
Undilutedme:Getting admission into unical is competitive for courses in the medical field esp Medicine and Nursing |
onyiloxy:Thank you. It had issues so a refund request has been made |
Please between R7 and R8, which one is preferable? I'm having slight issues with getting the R8 as it seems like infinix hot 8 to me (regarding the processor speed) |
Good evening all, please what should I do?
|
jboixxx:Good evening, sir. How does one know when their product is in naija? |
DaRkSkOpE:Hmm. The prev date was actually btw Nov 18-dec 03 before it was shifted to Nov 29- DEC 19. I'm pretty worried about it, tho. I just hope I get it before the 19th |
DaRkSkOpE:"Despatched to OverSeas Postal Admin (From SG/SIN to" That was the last info received on the 5th of November |
Good morning all, I ordered for a device on the 29th of October. The last tracking info was on the 5th of November and since then I haven't gotten any update on it. My tracking number ends with "SG". What do you all suggest I do? |
