Hello, everyone! I have been viewing this thread for quite a period of time and yes! I am introverted, I love my space and I believe it's gonna affect me if I have to carry out any thing relating to marketing because I don't really like meeting new people...I dunno what to say and that.

I have a question, is it weird if one plays games with his/herself? I mean, I play ludo, whots and any board game I can lay my hands on alone and some people see it as a weird stuff but I totally enjoy it.

Most times we put on our TVs or browse the internet, we often come across auditioning for one reality show or the other; ranging from nationwide shows or other competitions that are campus-based not to talk of the incessant beauty pageantry competitions that are being held, one cannot underestimate the fact that the organisers and sponsors of these events have a lot to give out but then we see that there are very few competitions that are geared towards testing the intellectual capacity of people.

Although, organisers have the freedom to promote what they want to and some people do not see the good in organising one that tests intellect, there is need to encourage those who are good in that aspect. Not everyone can be a beauty queen or a good vocalist or dancer (as these three are the major in Nigeria).

I remember when I was growing up, when the Zain African Challenge was still aired, likewise the MTN Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, I was always looking forward to seeing each episode and even aspiring to be a contestant on those shows but we cannot find such anymore. I so much commend Cowbell Nigeria for the yearly Cowbellpedia and Interswitch for the science-based competition they just concluded.

There is need for sponsors and organisers of these kind of events; events that educate and encourage people, even for students of tertiary institutions and other individuals likewise.

Your symptoms are similar to that which a friend of mine used to have. He was diagnosed with ADHD and was on medications (Ritalin) but is getting off medications of recent due to improvements.
You also need a friend who who feel you can trust with your issue and understands it to a certain degree, such person could help you with your forgetfulness and also make you feel normal. Cheer up, everything will be OK

The little period I have used in observing some events, Christian concerts and crusades, I have noticed that most of them include comedy and I am like "why comedy, what's the essence?" I learnt that all presentations must have a message or messages it is conveying ( I don't know if all churches keep to that).

I don't still understand why comedy should be included. What message is it passing across? What value does it add to one's spiritual life? Was there a point or a verse in the Bible where we were told to crack jokes ( of which more than 80% of them are all lies)? It is getting so annoying that at a point you cannot tell the difference between a secular and nonsecular event in a church gathering.

During The Experience 13, there was no message/moral lesson/value in the jokes told and then the recognition of some dignitaries which almost made it look it a political gathering was irrelevant and uncalled for.

We should always note that all gatherings are to bring one closer to Christ, worship Him and everything thing that has to do with glorifying God not just going to return with nothing to hold on to.

Nigerian public universities are nothing to be proud about. We can't compete with our counterparts in other countries in terms of structures and organization.

What do you mean by ‘edited’? The KJV you have today has also been edited many times. The idea is to arrive at the best possible translation of the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. That’s not to say that there are no junk translations.

Like I said, they do not buttress the main points and some verses are being removed. They try to translate it to a simpler form but it ends up being too "simple".

I prefer KJV and NKJV. Other versions are too edited and do not buttress the main points.

Inasmuch as Christ brought grace to us. Many are forgetting the fact that He also brought truth. Many people have dropped the truth and are depending on grace, even wallowing in sin in the name of "God's grace is sufficient". We can't separate grace from truth. By receiving Christ, we receive the power to become the Sons of God,John 1:12 ( the Son of God is righteous), therefore we too will be made perfect just as He is perfect.

Students still repeat classes in my alma mater. Grade "A" was even raised to 90.

No! No!! No!!! My friend, that's not how JWs enjoy upbuilding conversations with our friends and neighbors. It's not about the WRONG but ACCURATE knowledge of God's word, because even a Muslim have an idea regarding the Bible after all he/she knows the names of prophets and stories in the Bible. What we all need is an accurate knowledge of the scriptures! Heaven is not where God purposed for faithful humans,Earth is our home, Jesus is the person who said "i'm going to PREPARE a place" meaning there was NO place prepared for humans in heaven from the beginning. So why the new arrangement? Jesus will rule the earth with co~rulers,Jerusalem supposed to be the sit of their government but Jerusalem has been polluted with the blood of holy prophets and finally the blood of the Messiah. God's vengeance will come upon Jerusalem and it's Temple will be devastated, these made Jesus' followers nervous asking "where are we going to stay and rule with you?" That's why the reply came that He is going to prepare the government house in heaven, so it's only those that will rule with Him that are going there while all other faithful servants of God will enjoy the benefits of their righteous rule on earth! Those who don't know all these can't understand why we must teach ourselves not to participate in politics because all politicians including those participating in politics will be destroyed! And after that what next? Sit back and enjoy the "comforts" of Salvation? No! There's a lot to do, lot of wars to be fought, lot of sacrifices to be made for Christ. You need to fight to protect your Salvation else you lose it.

There was a group in the first century to which a person must BELONG to have salvation, because that's the ONLY group encouraging their members to love and fine works. Hebrews 10:24,25 Members must continue to follow the instructions from the GB of the group for current information on what the Holy Spirit is telling the GB. Act 15:28,29 However any member who fails to continue obeying the instructions from that GB is indirectly disregarding the arrangement of the one who Appointed those 12 men. Act 2:42 So their is no room for isolation or independent ideas in the first century Christianity. Hebrews 13:7,17

The Holy Spirit is not meant to dwell in a group of people. Every man is meant to be a dwelling place for God in that you receive information directly from Him. You don't rely on any man to tell you what the Holy Spirit says. That was done in the days of the Law when the people all depended on the Priests to tell them what God says. Now, the Holy Spirit is the only teacher that is meant to control a man, that a man should receive information from.

Although in growing in knowledge of Christ, there are those who have grown higher than others so they teach the others what the Spirit says. In your case, you depend on your GB for everything. Man is supposed to have a personal relationship with God where He speaks to you concerning you.

#suregalluv;The illustration of the fine seed and the weeds found at Matthew 13 needs the intervention of God's holy spirit before one can interpret it with efficacy! Jesus is the sower, Satan is the enemy, Christianity is the field while the fine seeds are true Christians (who have accepted to continue living all their lives the Christlike way). Satan came when men were sleeping (after the death of the Apostles) and sowed weeds (members of the church who joined politics for fame,power and riches),This leads to the birth of the Antichrist "The Catholic Church" (with all forms of paganism and politically ambitious individuals),they oppressed the faithful ones and silenced them with great persecution(this was the dark ages) beginning from the second century until the 20th century when America declared "freedom of expression, religion and speech". This ended the oppression of the politically ambitious individuals using their position in the churches to suppress true Christianity. Now is the time for the separation, notice that the weeds were first binded in bundles meaning you'll see different religions all claiming Christians but having contradicting doctrines so individuals could make their choice as to the desires of their hearts. But another group will emerge from nowhere and this will catch the attention of all the others because it's totally different, that is the group of the fine seeds and individuals who doesn't belong their will find their way out of it.

Hmmmmmmmm you tried my friend but your interpretation has flaws! Because Jesus said "people will IDENTITY His followers by the love they have amongst themselves" John 13:35 therefore there must be a certain group that every other religious groups will notice that "they love their members" and secondly all other religious groups will have intense hatred for them. Matthew 10:22 compared with John 17:14 . Moreover the scriptures said these group will "no more learn war" meaning you can't find military men in their midst! Isaiah 2:2-3, Micah 4:1-3 Definitely they won't have anything to do with POLITICS (Satan's main tool of causing division,strife and enmity amongst mankind) If Christianity is just an individual thing,then a Muslim don't need to cross over to the churches because he/she already believed in Jesus (Yeshua)!
