Learn to separate election loss emotion from analysis. you are the one gloating about an election victory in which you are not a beneficiary, you were not in Qatar, not in dubai, not a special adviser, not a minister, the one that would have touched you directly is good governance and you are happy the government is failing on that, ask the people how they felt between 2020 and 2022,and now,you will see uts not about election but about the greatest failure of all time, because all those yoruba market women, are not igbo neither is kwam 1 igbo or election looser, their reaction now was different from your imaginary double prices of 2020 |

OreMI22: Well, if they allow food to be imported even as a short-term measure or secure farms in the middle belt for the farmers to cultivate their lands and produce food, there would be no hunger again. This spells doom for the politicians who need Nigerian youths to remain poor and hungry to be willing tools for thuggery and snatching of ballot boxes.
So you can be assured that the FG will not do anything fundamental to alleviate food insecurity and hunger in Nigeria as it serves the purpose of the elite politicians to remain in power. They will merely do palliatives and give them rice or garri to feed them for a while before the hunger returns to keep them hooked on the whims of the elites in government. That's the game but the unfortunate part is that it the oppressed that is explain why he is been oppressed and pleading for more time for his oppressors, who is not interested in his welfare |

This is a known fact, only APC and their supporters are the people believing the propaganda.
How can you explain the fact that when dollar was 700 naira fuel price was 650 to 700,and now that dollar is above 1500,the price of fuel still remains the same.
Remember that fuel is been imported too,so common sense should tell us that by now the price of landing must have changed greatly.
Shouting subsidy is gone, subsidy is gone on your first day in office, without plans on how to cushion the effect of the removal is what brought us to where we are today.
We were still trying to wrap our heads around the new development,he went ahead to float the naira.
Another hasty decision that we are suffering today.
Subsidy removal and floating the naira at the same time was never a wise decision.
IMF on the other hand kept on mounting pressure on Nigeria government. They just found out they can influence the present government, and they kept coming for more. you are not different from the apc supporters who always parroted whatever the government put in the mouth .the idea of saying the government should cushion the effect before the removal is begging the issue, you don't have to inflict injury on someone and then be giving him pain killer etc,the best thing is not to have inflicted the pain in the first place at all |

Elzazzi: Please don’t mind my errors.
Early this morning I strolled to the shop of the woman I normally buy stuffs from anytime I want to cook. I’m currently in Ogbia Bayelsa state and the prices of food items has really skyrocketed here.
I bought plantain 1k and they are 6 pieces and relatively big compared to other places that will even sell 4 small ones for that same amount. I noticed her food items were cheap when compared to others in same locality. While I was buying the things I needed, another woman came to shop and was telling her how her items were cheaper when compared to others selling around her. I paid attention to their conversation.
Then I now asked the woman, why are things were cheaper when compared to others. She told me most people are just greedy and wicked and it’s mostly fault of the retailers who hoard the goods and wait till the Naira falls and then increase the amount they sell them. And those buying take advantage and triple the amount they use in selling. She told things aren’t currently good but people are just taking advantage of the situation to increase the prices of goods and they are making much more gains than ever.
Tinubu wasn’t my candidate in the last election and I know many voted for their preferred candidates for reasons best known to them.
The truth is that the common man on the streets is feeling this hardship and economic sabotage fellow Nigerians. We don’t have to go to the extreme because we want make gains and make people suffer. I know the government has its own shortcomings and blames, but let’s be considerate on ourselves.
