Well, I think it's fine if the OP just "tampered" with it. As long as your account statement is clean and you still have enough to fund your trip then you shouldn't worry. Even if they decide to verify your documents you should still be fine. It's a bank account hence it's unrealistic for you not to be spending from the account until your visa is approved.

Well said @Nchabuomo, I hope he sees the light you have just shed on this.

Simple answer there's no way for you to find out. It's not standard procedure for them to contact your bank. Honestly, it isn't your business if they do or do not. As long as the documents submitted are genuine then there's nothing to worry about.

Lol! Am sure the reason he wants to know is that , maybe he's tapered with the money in the account so much. So he's scared of the fact that If they find out it might affect the decision, because it happened to me too

Ok , that's to say your visa will most likely be approved if you get your collection mail without being previously sent a refusal mail ?

Please when do they normally send the refusal mail?, is it after collecting your passport at VAC or after they send you collection mail ?

Thanks, yes i sent them last week Thursday and they said and i quote: We are receiving an unprecedented volume of applications which has led to an increase in escalations. We are working as quickly as we can to get through these, we apologise for any inconvenience this is causing you. Then I sent them another one yesterday, I have been waiting for their reply before this mail dropped.

You should be fine, have you sent them paid mail? If yes, ring them if time given for wait after escalation has elapsed.

Congrats to everyone that's gotten positive responses, I pray God will remember us too. When oct 27 received collection email some days ago, i doubled up my hope cos mine is oct 29. Now I don't know what's happening again oo.
Pls my people I have this to share with you , cos this afternoon a lot has gone thru my mind .
In the application i submitted, i made some changes. I added a middle name to my new passport so it can tally with the names on my NIN , which was not on my old passports that carry my expired 6 months and 2 years uk visas. I also told them about an additional source of income .
Note: I provided affidavit for the added middle name.

I was just thinking this afternoon that the delay could
be as a result of these changes. Perhaps they're trying to verify the changes

Today will make it 59 WD since i did my biometrics at ikeja.

i just checked , They don't reply on fridays Saturdays Sunday and uk public holidays.

She got a picked up mail yesterday she’s got her visa today.
