I'll tell you what happened. You peeked her interest at your first meeting at her work place which is why she agreed to the date. But on the date even though it seemed you got along well, you didn't tingle her fancy. You said it yourself she's got more economic clout than you do, that's strike one. But the most important thing is the way you related with her did not create any attraction. Did you flirt with her? Did you toy with her? Were you making physical contact during the date?
