God had nothing to do with this. You superstitious people. An unfortunate incident that happened by chance with contributing factors such as poor road infrastructure, poor driving and/or other poor road users. Accidents happen every day and people die due to these accidents everyday. It's the reality of the world and the reality of life. Nothing to do with some magical being.

Of course it didn't really happen unless the whole world knows you did it.

Plus we must know what you plan to do next so we can continue to praise you. smh.

Self congratulatory nonsense.

Philadelphia:
OP is just a typical Nigerian; when they 'climb with a ladder', they will throw it off so others can't come up with them.
They will rather want the spotlight to be on them while they show off their 'new life' as they now feel they have 'arrived'.

I said all these because from the first page when you started this thread, some people asked you how you got you visa and wished you could give advice to those who wish to come to the US.

You have deliberately refused to answer this question. This is page 12 of the thread and I know you will never answer the question.

Remember the saying that goes thus; 'a candle never looses its light by lighting other candles'.
I have also questioned this and he can't answer because he is obviously there on a tourist visa and intends to stay illegally beyond its 6 months tenure.

That's what he's calling grace and providence grin. Unless he has some magical way of converting it to a longer term visa that he is not letting on to.

But for sure OP is collecting grace on a touristy visa.

Hello House,

Please my passport is less than 5months to expiry and I commenced renewal two weeks ago and picked up the new passport yesterday. Same yesterday I got PPR mail.
Now my question is, which passport will I submit? Is it the new one or bothhuh
Please anyone who has been in this situation should advise on what to do urgently thanks.
Submit the new one (or both if you wish) They'll stamp the new one with your visa. No problem. It's been done like that plenty of times before.

Tough talk man!
Take a seat and observe still.
It's not tough talk. It's real talk.
Continue deflecting. I'm not hating.
I'm actually glad that you're getting more exposure to what a civilised Country is truly like.
It'd just be a shame if you did it in a way that wouldn't pay you or your fellow Nigerians well in the long run.

He did not state anywhere he moved with a tourist visa, you are making assumptions and conclusions, it's better to wait as see, than saying things you have no proof
Not everything has to be spelt out for you. You have a brain, use it to put 1 and 2 together instead of waiting to be spoonfed.
TravelRe: 9ja To Usa. A Story Of Grace And Providence. by Suspectzero(m): 11:53am On Dec 05, 2019
Seems to me like EVABLAZE moved with his family to the U.S on a tourist Visa. Which is why he has not once expounded on how he came about to becoming an immigrant in the U.S. People with this sort of thread usually share what method of immigration they took advantage of early in the thread.

As usual, this method of immigration is never advisable. You'll be living and looking over your shoulder the rest of your time there till ICE catches up with you then we get to hear a sorry story about a helpless African family with young kids seeking refugee status. Moreover it makes getting a tourist visa even more difficult for those who genuinely just want to visit the U.S and return.

I do not celebrate this if OP ends up staying there illegally past the 6 months timeline for a tourist Visa.

Sometimes its good to pay the extra cost tho. I personally like the modern condos as the community is always clean with lots of amenities.

Most days i leave my door unlocked because im confident my neighbours have no business stealing from me.

I also like to see logos from my patio , taking a bus or even walking more than a stone throw to buy something can be troublesome in suburbs. No were is cheap atleast in vancouver like it used to be
Ah Vancouver is king when it comes to accommodation pricing na. Everybody knows that. But you are right about having housemates becoming old and annoying, more so when they are total strangers. This is why i am taking a keen interest in Edmonton. Accommodation for Bachelors is so enticing in that City. Just hope they've got a job market to match.

I've never lived in a Suburb lol I have experience in Ottawa so places like Barrhaven, or even Brampton seem so isolated with nothing but houses around for kilometers.

Canada must be treating you real nice. Carry on.

$500 in Toronto? Maybe with two or three other room mates. Having room mates gets old after a certain age
Hope you know there's a difference between Toronto and the GTA. If you stay in areas like Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, Markham etc you could find accommodation in the Five hundreds renting a room to yourself in a house most probably.

Not possible , under normal pretenses at least. They really blocking Uber up here and to work a sustainable amount of hours will be back breaking work.

Ill break it down. Paying rent in any city (where uber actually operates) here will be around $1000+ . Lots of figures thrown around here. so lets say its comes down to $11 per hour. You will need to work 90 hours in a month just to make rent.

You cant drive without insurance either. So if you have a basic car you looking at an extra $100 - $200 per month for insurance. Then add other living expenses.

In fact Uber is only nice as extra income. you dont want to come here and suffer yourself. if you dont have a nice career to work in as you land it can be troublesome
You are right that Uber is only advisable as a side hustle but saying one needs to have $1000 for rent is a bit deceptive. IT all depends on the type of accommodation you are after and what location you are ready to stay in in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You could find accomodation for as cheap as $500. Even well paid professionals are hesitant to live within Toronto City itself.

Victim of society right?

Good

Now who made the society the way it is

Believe it or not
The govt is useless
But the bulk of the blame falls squarely on the people

And yes
The nurse's are very unprofessional
Same with the police
And every other thing

Victim or no victim
In an organization or society, everything good comes from the top, starts from the leadership. China came to be the way it is because of the leadership not from the people. Dubai became the way it is because of the vision of the leader not because of the common people. Even Saudi Arabia's culture is slowly evolving because of the modern Vision of it's latest king and ruler.

You can not hold the soldiers accountable for failure to execute a poor strategy by their commander in winning a war. It's an ill advised way of looking at the problem.

Leadership is the most vital part of progress in any society. Once the leadership sets the tone, the populace will follow.

So yes, Nigerians are victims of leadership. We also play small individual roles and but it's not as significant as the overall leadership.

You have a point
Which rubbish point does he have? How can he blame poor hospitals on nurses? Hospitals that don't have many basic facilities, very ill equipped and with underpaid staff. How can that be blamed on nurses and you're telling him he has a point?

He blames police force for taking bribes and being generally apathetic about their jobs. Do you know the pittance these police officers are paid to put their lives on the line? Can you even start comparing it to what police operatives are paid abroad? the police here function on bribes because they are being paid poverty wages. They are a victim of our society as much as everyone else.

It's a miserable cycle. The guy whom's comment you responded to is another shallow and inept thinker who can barely think below the surface of issues before pointing his crooked fingers.

I've searched for Japan thread but unfortunately there is none.
While people are so fucussed on migrating to Europe, Australia and North America, my dream country has always been Japan. I do not actually know much about the country but I feel it's a place where one can settle easily. I also learnt that their salary is competitive.
In summary, I'm planning to migrate to Japan from April next year.
If you have reports (negative or positive) about the country, please share here let me know if I'm making a mistake or not.

I want to know about availability of jobs, ease of getting visa, possibility of converting tourist visa to work permit and general living condition.
Please share your meaningful experience
Lol if you knew anything about Japan you won't write any of the above that you just wrote. They are racist against blacks (talkless of Black African). They are xenophobic, any outsider will always been seen as an outsider no matter how long you stay there or how well you speak their language. You'll never get their Citizenship. There aren't many other Black people there so you'll feel alone most of the time. Their culture is stilted and stifling. They don't know how to let loose and have fun. There's no going there to "hustle". In fact you'll go there to waste time, effort and resources only to be sent packing in 5 to 10 years time with no papers to show for it. If that's the kind of immigration you are into then go for it.

This is how Black millionaires spend their money. Instead of investing in their communities and people via businesses and job creation. They waste it on being flashy. That's why the black race is as backwards as ever. No amount of money buys them sense.

Collintos:
Hi all,

I too would like to share my personal experience for the benefit of those who are thinking about immigration; I moved to Canada last year, August 2018 to be precise. I am in my early 30s, born and brought up in Mumbai (one of the biggest city in the world), India.

Back in India: I used to work at an MNC as an AVP; my daily life was like waking up at 6 a.m. getting ready and then the everyday struggle to get in the local train from the suburbs (coz even with a 7 figure salary I couldn’t afford a home in the city and though I had a car I never took it to work considering the stress of driving in the insane traffic and the condition of the road). I used to reach work at 9 a.m., continue working for 10 to 12 hrs (it’s a norm here) and then again struggle to board the train from the city back to the suburbs (the whole crowd moves in the same direction yet the authorities don’t care neither the crowd). Once back by 9–10 p.m, I used to spend some time with my friends depending on their availability and my timing, have dinner and then go to sleep.

Here in Canada: I struggled a lot initially but after 4 months of patience, hard work, a lot of research & networking and a few certifications I got a job (I moved from finance into IT industry and from being an AVP to a Manager). Also, I moved to a smaller city in the scenic Okanagan Valley (kind of Goa in India) that has an amazing weather for most part of the year; rather than settling in big cities like Toronto or Vancouver (preferred destination by many immigrants). I earn a 5 figure salary but in CADs of course and I live in a house (bungalow as we call in Mumbai). I wake up at 6 a.m. as usual but here I have time to offer my prayers in peace, prepare as well as relish the tasty breakfast before leaving for work at 7:30 and the best part, I walk to work [I don’t have a car here coz I didn’t clear the driving test (twice), and eventually when I get it, I still won’t drive to work; 1. There is a 6 month or probably a years waiting for parking space in my office building 2. I live just 20 mins walking distance from work, that’s hardly 5–10 mins on bicycle and 15–20 mins by bus]. I work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (it’s a norm here) and I am back home by 5:30 p.m. then I enjoy the rest of my day reading in the local library or playing badminton/ working out in the nearby club/ fitness center or take a nice stroll along the lake front that’s hardly 5 mins from my home.

It’s just been 6 months for me in Canada but I have enjoyed every bit of it, right from the struggle of getting a relevant job to appearing & reappearing for my driving tests, making new friends (from different nationalities) to shoveling snow from the walkway around my house. I do miss my family and friends a lot but then life is all about give and take, I prefer this life over the one back in India where I have my family and friends but hardly had any time to spend with them or with myself.

Hope you are happy now grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Wonderful story. Thanks for sharing.
