Well, she has to decide what she wants to do next. Try to make sure the owner of the pregnancy is identified and in the picture so he can contribute his share to her and the process. No need letting him off the hook anytime soon.

Should your sister decide to keep the baby, visit.the courts to learn the process for filing for child support and make this available to her from day one. Try to educate her so she realize that while she has to play her part in contributing to the care of the child, the law also recognizes that the man also has his share of the responsibilities to be help accountable for.

And while you are at it. Time to educate her on use of regular contraception so she does not fall victim again.
