MrWondah:
I'm creating this thread due to the recent mails I've been getting here.
In the world of programming today, there are over 60% who are self thought. I'm not here for statistics.
I will be sharing a simple PDF guide on best resources for major programming languages, frameworks and markup languages. Only resource for those who don't know where to get one or need motivation.
These would include:
HTML
CSS and its frameworks
JavaScript and its libraries
PHP
Mysql
Java SE
Rugby
C family
Mobile app Dev
Python
And as many that would come on request.

The ones listed here are the ones I'm good at, so I'll share where I've been getting help.
If you are interested send me a mail via my signature.
I can't post the links here due to nairaland rules.
They are completely free
Hello, I will really need this... I don't really know how to use nairaland for the email thing, here is my email paulmaduagwu@gmail. com... Thanks for sharing

Crime / Hoodlums Working With SARS Harass & Extort Money From UNN Students by swayflow: 6:15pm On Dec 19, 2017
Good afternoon Great Nigerians, so recently in the University of Nigeria Nsukka. A group of people came together to impose tax on the students living off-campus in hilltop area. They call themselves "hilltop security". They have no proof of who appointed them and they say they are working with SARS. Recently they invaded rooms of students, and took their belongings because of lateness to pay this illegal fee.

I went to their so called office, and the secretary said they were appointed by the governor of Enugu state Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi. Please I what to know if this is true, if he also told them to harass and extort money from students. Most of my friends have runaway because they can’t just give away money like that, and are not willing to see what this hilltop security would do to them if they don’t pay.

I think the group announced themselves early this year, saying everyone should pay N100 to their bank account every month, I guess nobody did, so now they really need that Christmas money and are forcing it out of students.
The secretary said the payment won’t be monthly anymore, but yearly, and also said that my payment today will expire in April. That’s 4 months from now, and I paid for a year. Something is wrong somewhere! Video attached showing some seats taken from the homes of students and the audio has been edited to hide my name and room details.

Someone should please inform the necessary authorities about this illegal act going on in Hilltop, University of Nigeria Nsukka. Our conversation is below:
Me: Please eh, is this where the hilltop security uhmm…this is it?
*sits down on one of the seized chairs*
you are the secretary?
Secretary: Yes.
Me: Good afternoon.
Secretary: Good afternoon.
Me: So I hear we are supposed to pay N1300, uh yearly.
Secretary: Yes, depends on the time you started living here.
Me: depends on the time, so someone like me that have been here for four years how much am I paying.
Secretary: You will start from April.
Me: April? So I will pay now abi I will wait till next year April?
Secretary: You will pay now, when that one expires you will pay another one.
Me: so I will give you…. You would write name, receipt or…
Secretary: Yes, I would give you receipt…which lodge?
Me: ******** Number **
I heard they came and carried somethings from my friend’s room, is that how they used to do? (Me trying to confirm that they actually took things from people’s rooms for not paying the money)
Secretary: Your friends room? Which day?
Me: I don’t know, it’s just gist that I heard.
Secretary: What did they carry?
Me: I don’t know, I heard they carried his property because …
Secretary: Are you living with him?
Me: No.
Secretary: Ehen if they come and they met you and you didn’t pay, they will collect one of your thing, that would make you to pay, you see all these seats, they collected it from a student.
Me: It’s not fair na?
Secretary: Why? Ke ihe mere odiro fair *what makes it not fair*
Me: If you are living here and they came and carried your seat?
Secretary: ehn its either I pay or they’ll take my seat from me.
Me: who commissioned the hilltop security? A group of Nsukka people?
Secretary: No it was commissioned by eh…
Me: It’s illegal, hilltop security is very illegal
Secretary: *She starts to stammer*
Me: It is very illegal because they formed themselves and came here.
Secretary: It’s not true!
Me: Is there any proof, you people should hang proof somewhere and say so so so people, like Nigerian police they have their proof that the government commissioned them to act, but this one just… I came back from home and I started hearing hilltop security, they will carry your seat, they will carry your this, they will carry your that, if you don’t pay. You know, I am a calm person I don’t like problems but… so that’s why I am here, you know. Since you people are now enforcing the law.
Secretary: We are not enforcing the law, its eh ifeanyi, the governor of enugu state that commissioned…not only hilltop, each village has their own security.
Me: Issokay.
Secretary: And they are working with police…and SARS. If they catch a hardened criminal, they would hand it over to the SARS.
Me: Issorite.
*she starts filling in my receipt*
Secretary: Did they seize any of your thing?
Me: No.
Secretary: Then you would pay N1200, if any of your thing was seized, that is N1300.
Me: So, the next time I am paying is April?
Secretary: It will start from April next year.
Me: And be paying monthly abi yearly?
Secretary: Its either you pay yearly, as of next year or you pay half of the year.

I am not sure the writer is an introvert, he/she makes it look like intoverts are mentally disturbed... Extroverts are the party every night, hangout with friends all the time, always full of life kind of people... Introverts like me just like quiet time to themselves, don't really care about things that don't need to be cared about (my life example) most times their friends and girlfriends are extroverts because (from my life point of view) those fun friends are the easiest way for them to let loose, have fun and have a little ray of sunshine on their forehead...

Culture / When It Comes To RIGHTS, Some Women Don't Know What They Want by swayflow: 5:25pm On Nov 19, 2017
Feminism is great and all (fighting child molestation and unfair treatment of women), but when It comes to rights... Women don't know what they want... A friend of mine said "Just give them their own d***s so they can leave us guys alone'. grin

Let me start with an experience I had when I still used Facebook, a female friend of mine uploaded a picture, and I called her 'fati bum bum', a friendly name I called her (she usually slapped my head whenever I called her that haha). Then a girl that I don't even know, came in, calling me a fool for "body-shaming' my friend. I was in shock...

Another incident to with another lady were she kept saying '*girl-child* is raped, *girl-child* is oppressed, *girl-child* is sent out of her home because of unwanted pregnancy and nothing happens to the man responsible, there would be no earth If not for the girl-child's womb..The girl-child is the only one in the family that has time to take care of the children.. Girl child girl child girl child... '.

Though the oppression part is true in some cases, I asked her, If her daughter was to have an unwanted pregnancy (God forbid), If she would throw her into the street like she insinuated, this lady kept on replying her girl child stuff and didn't even answer my question. And if there would be no earth without the girl-child, I wonder if a goat can make that girl-child pregnant and give birth, if not a man.

I found out this term "body-shaming" is just another one of those phrases coined by women who want superiority over men instead of equality (as they claim). These ladies are bitter, heartbroken, lack self esteem, gay or are actually... Fat (usually they don't know the difference between being fat and being thick, no amount of talk can change the minds of these ones) undecided. Similarly words "sapiosexuality" and "girl-child".

Some women exaggerate a bit too much. Male children are raped and molested too undecided. Awareness should be made but not as if males are not human beings.

A former classmate of mine said on her instagram page that she was "her own woman" and didn't need a man for money #bosslady #feminist #slay #lalasticlala lol, but then she does instagram stories, twerking in a club, men spraying money on her ehm gluteus maximus.

All I'm saying is, if you want to claim to be something, know what it is first... Don't claim sophisticated lady, and not have a life. If you are really a feminist you shouldn't be judging, insulting or reducing men to dust, instead you should be educating both men and women what is wrong, what is right, what is good, what is unfair, what is horrendous and what is human. No insults please, just my thought. Thank you nairaland for this medium to reach the world.

Culture / Re: Have You Ever Just Taken A Social Media/ Society Break? by swayflow: 4:35pm On Nov 19, 2017
Same here, I decide to take a break.... Deleted my Facebook, twitter, instagram.. I use only whatsapp... Considering the amount of time I spend and the money for data bundles I eat up on instagram... Also drooling for 'likes' and being accepted by strangers, I figured I had to leave all that and discover myself... So I went on a 'no social media for a year challenge'... 2 weeks now and counting...
At first I thought I couldn't do it but now, I feel like I have taken a lot of stress of my shoulders. I discovered I have passion for drawing grin... I am using part of my formerly social media time, to learn art... I wonder if all those social media friends would miss me, heck, or even notice I am not online anymore.

Thank you all so much, I am using xampp local host.
I just want to link bootstrap. Here is my code in the <head> tag:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="bootstrap/css/bootstrap.theme.min.css">
<script src="bootstrap/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>

I started web design newly. The linking worked in my previous web design, but now it's not anymore. The stylesheet displays in dreamweaver live view, but not on chrome or Firefox.

I inspected it with Firefox 'firebug' it says '404 Not found ' but the style sheet is linked correctly.

P. S I tried the ctrl+f5 it didn't work cry .
