fulanimafia: Only an illiterate does not know that literacy is the ability to read, write and do sums.
The Arabic numeral is the source of all modern numerals you know today 1,2,3,4,5....
All muslim northerners can read, write and do sums in Arabic, so they cannot be said to be uneducated.
Go ahead and tell Russian physicists their calculations are wrong because it is in russian.
With this said, a large (not majority) number of northerners are also western educated, the over 20 Universities in the North are neither manned by camels nor are the researchers goats. There are academics, investors and artists of global repute from the North. You shouldn't distort reality by giving us these history classes. You are not doing your people any good. |

Politics › Re: PMB’s Delay In Naming Key Appointments Is Irritating, Frustrating, Unacceptable by Sweetguy25: 10:12am On Jul 02, 2015 |
socialmediaman: Are you serious? It's barely 1 month plus!
Buhari will make his appointments known soon, I fully support him to clean up the rubbish past administrations piled up. I fully support him to plug the loopholes created by previous governments that ended up looting this country dry, I fully support him to change the template used in service delivery to the country..... Before appointing any minister.
Ministers should be handed a job description, not the other way when they were in charge of everything in the ministry including contract approvals, recruitments and funds disbursements. How can he cleanup anything or block any loopholes or install any template without the help of key strategic ministerial and other cabinet appointments? You guys should stop deceiving yourselves. Admit that Buhari is clueless. |

PassingShot: Your last statement is GROSSLY incorrect at this point. There is not even a possibility that PMB will perform half-poorly as GEJ. Dude, the possibility is very very high. The events of the past thirty days is a clear indication that Buhari does NOT know what or how or where to lead this country to. |
Politics › Re: PMB’s Delay In Naming Key Appointments Is Irritating, Frustrating, Unacceptable by Sweetguy25: 9:52am On Jul 02, 2015 |
socialmediaman: I believe you didn't read the whole story, that last paragraph was stated clearly. "Go back to slavery because you're yet to be employed as a free born"? Certainly NOT what Nigerians want at this time. So in your widest dreams you think people are putting pressure on the president because they wish GEJ back? Well if you think so, ask him to make a public statement and see how Nigerians will call for a mob action on him for being shameless after putting us in this mess. He knows, that's why he's mute no matter what the presidecy or anyone says. Wherever he is, he must be a lonely man reminiscing on his failures! Dude, leave GEJ out of this. He's currently on a vacation abroad and enjoying his life. He said he will take some time off politics which is what he's doing. Focus on Buhari, who unseated an incumbent president but can't show actions to merit the hype that got him elected in the first place. Its been over thirty days since he was sworn in but he's yet to make any meaningful appointment or make any pivotal policy. Nigeria is losing billions of dollars because of the inertia being caused by Buhari and his gang. The man doesn't even seem to care. Admit that voting for Buhari was a grave mistake. |

You guys were warned but chose to be blinded and swayed by your feeble emotions towards Buhari. The signs that this man will be a waste of time was evident during the campaigns. The mistakes started small, for instance, calling his vice Osinbade instead of Osinbajo. The mistakes and embarrassment are now being made on a national and global level. He is running this country aground with his ineptitude. You guys should lick your wounds till 2019. |

I don't want to sound like a prophet of doom but it is really difficult to see that Buhari has absolutely nothing positive to offer this country as a president. Events of the past 30 days has clearly shown us the path Buhari has decided to follow and it does not augur well with this country. Nigeria is cursed with bad leaders and moronic followers. |

Tolexander: this isn't figure throwing at all. The figures are even far underestimated.
Everything existing is a resource, if we can tap them and put them into use. Many seems to be a waste now because we don't know their value(s). It is not possible for Nigeria to earn 50 trillion from solid minerals. Heck, even 20 trillion naira is overestimated. |

Honestly, if I was president of this useless country, one of the decisions I'll take would be to remodify or scrap this useless scheme.
NYSC should be not be mandatory. Graduates should have an option of enlisting to the NYSC service or go straight to the job market.
Forty years after this useless scheme was instituted, the same reasons that prompted the enactment of the scheme is still lingering, even stronger than ever.
What caused the civil war was injustice and injustice still prevails(constitutionally) till today.
