I happy this Emir of Zazzau has been redeployed from UNN. I remember he gave a speech at Nsukka once and we could barely what he was saying. The man was highly embarrassed.

There was no need to. The summary of the report was already given by the auditor general and they vindicated the NNPC of the allegations.

The reason he sacked Sanusi was because he wasn't straightforward.
He first said 49 billion was missing, then he reduced it to 10 billion and then to 20 billion again. A CBN governor shouldn't be doing that. Sanusi made a mistake.
Sanusi's attitude and behaviour was unbecoming. Something had to be done.

For the past 16 years, no state government could provide constant potable water supply for its people, even Lagos. What a shame.

The APC is only acting like it should. I don't think the FG influenced the report because PwC heavily criticised the NNPC according to what was obtained earlier. But they never said that there was any missing money from the sale of crude oil.

The PwC report has already proved that he lied. What else do you want?

They should celebrate, they're now the highest paid legislators in the world.

You should compare yourself with your mates and not with countries more advanced than you by every standard. Population doesn't mean shIt if almost half of the population are illiterates with poor standards of living and human development.

I never said progress won't be made. We will make progress but it will be so slow that it will seem negligible.

She did a pretty good job if you'd ask me. I think sometimes we overstate the duties of the minister of finance. Critical monetary aspects of the economy like inflation, interest rate and naira stability are not under her control. It is the duty of the central bank to regulate these aspects with their monetary policy.
An economy can be influenced by either two ways - fiscal policy or monetary policy. Okonjo controls the fiscal side while the CBN controls the monetary side. All economic activities in Nigeria are transacted with the Naira, the CBNs mandate is to protect the value of naira and ensure that naira can be utilised to gain full employment of resources in the economy. The CBN is more instrumental to our economic development than the Ministry of finance. Ngozi's primary duty is the management of government revenues or finances and she has managed it well.

Won't happen under Buhari.
