Corruption indeed is not our core problem but "unity of purpose" isn't either. |
More like people who will pull Buhari down. |
What can he change? Nigeria has one of the worst human development indexes in the entire world. There are about 60 million stark illiterates in Nigeria, life expectancy is low and maternal mortality is high. These factors alone make it very difficult to lead, coupled with other negative social factors like tribalism and pervasive corruption, which makes it even worse. I doubt if a single president can change Nigeria in four years or even eight years. They lack three things- the time, the money and the will. |
Wike didn't let them have their way, he's not cut out for that nonsense. Now that one of their own is president, it will be easier for the program to be compromised to satisfy their selfish wishes. |
Ugwoke! Enugu people. Lol.... Congrats man. May you go higher and achieve your dreams. Make Biafra proud! ![]() |
@OP, Na so we see am o. Everybody in bayelsa and ph knows who Sylva is and how he lives his life. However, I won't judge him though. Its his life. |
Most women in Nigeria at that age have slept with over forty three men. Its nothing new |
Real reasons why they voted against GEJ been revealed. Northerners would rather prefer that everybody in the south halts their education in order to be at the same level with them. |
A chichidodo is a bird that hates feeding on maggots but feeds on maggot's shìt. |
Lol. |
One chance loading... |
Mumu people. Finding them is not hard |
Six pack or hungry man pack? |
asha80:The thing with oil is that easily attracts investment and it has a greater commercial value than anything in Kogi. Kogi can't be richer than Bayelsa. |
I thought they said Bugharia didn't have a house in Abuja? |
godunia:Unfortunately, it would have been the same but slightly better. |
ohzee:Building refineries take more than 2 years and Buhari wouldn't want to build new refineries because we already have four underutilized ones. Transmission projects also take time to develop and they need to be connected to the power source. Nigerians really don't care if the government saved money from NNPC, if they can't feel the effects of the savings in the economy. ASUU, NMA and other trade unions have huge monetary demands. Meeting with them regularly without meeting their financial and structural demands is recipe for chaos. I also wish him goodluck. And there's no way Buhari won't give contracts to his cronies. That's very impossible. |
Who's she getting the dickk from? She's actually sexy |
asha80:You're very right. There are very few Igbo labourers who are willing to work hard like there hausa counterparts. The house my brother is building is filled with these same hausa labourers. They are so hard working that sometimes I think they're machines. The northerners have cheap manual labor in plenty than any other zone in Nigeria. I was just being mischievous about Rochas. |
Restructure the country. |
Since an hausa man is governor what do you expect? |
Obiagelli:I believe you are aware of the legislative process and how bills are passed into law. |
Truly, Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face. ![]() |
I hate hearing this type of news. It gets me angry |
Obiagelli:I never said she initiated the PIB. The original version of the bill was drawn in 2008 and she wasn't petroleum minister then. I said that she pushed for the passage of the Bill throughout her tenure. |
The list isn't complete without our very own Baba One Chance. |
obailala:Absolutely. GEJ's government would have fared better in terms of battling unemployment and improving the economy than Buhari will do. |
Obiagelli:The oil companies don't what the bill to be passed because it proposes progressive taxation for offshore drilling and most of them have divested their onshore projects to indigenous companies. They won't be able to much more money if the PIB is passed. The northern legislators hate that the bill favours the oil producing areas to the detriment of other zones. Uncertainty over the passage of the PIB has slowed down investments in the sector. I don't think any petroleum minister can achieve anything if the PIB is not passed. Diezani ensured that we had a steady supply of petrol through her tenure. The problems of long filling station queues were minimized during her tenure as minister. Investments in gas infrastructure doubled during her tenure too. She did well. The accusations of corruption are expected because she's the oil minister. Every petroleum minister has been accused of corruption. It won't end with her. |
Increased participation of local firms in the oil and gas industry. Ensuring a steady supply of petroleum products to Nigerians. She also tried to ensure that the PIB was passed but forces couldn't let her. |
Buhari's popularity will be terribly battered before 2019 because of his poor performance as president. The people of north central and south west won't give him that luxury again. |
When was the last time this happened in Nigeria? |
nzeobi:Life without oil will be very very difficult for the north especially now that Book Haram has almost destroyed their region. |
