Yes, I agreed NOI said "not reconciled" and not "missing". But the question I ask again is, what would have happened had SLS not revealed the failure to reconcile the accounts?

Also, why was the said amount not reconciled since all these years (about three years now)?

Allison Madueke only recently told us the money is being paid into NNPC accounts. Why now?

Do you remember that NOI clearly stated that the money was about +$9 billion? Add this to the fact that PWC in their report said "minimum of $1.48 billions" was not accounted for, you will understand the reason to look into NNPC.

What do you think would have happened to the money (be it $1.48b, +$9b or $20b) if SLS had not spoken out which was what made Nigeria to force the government to do the audit?

The alleged money was not meant to have been missed in a year. It could have been 3, 4 or 5 years' unremitted money summed together.
