If you must ask someone to do something important for you, TRUST becomes everything.

The day I stop trusting anyone I hired to do a job I hired him or her for, then his or her sack becomes imminent.

TRUST is key, even in relationships. So earn it, lots of it.
Like I said to someone earlier, trust is not an all-encompassing verb or term. You can trust Buhari not to be corrupt or loot funds but can he entrusted with leadership - a trait or quality he does not possess.

Can they trust Buhari to improve their living conditions? The answer is NO. Buhari is not trustworthy in that aspect.

Assuming he tries to meet the corrupt leaders in the north currently in government to provide school, security of life and they don't cos of their corrupt nature. What should he do?
By the way he is not the only humble leader who even if he speaks he wld not be listened to. We hav shagari, shonekan etc. Wld the current politicians listen to them, if the tell them to do the right it as leaders. Think pls.
God bless Nigeria and every place else.
But the question is - did he at any point in time attempt to do these things? The answer is NO. Buhari has never initiated any positive idea, movement or organization to better the lives of northerners. None is on record.

Jega is running INEC like a CIA covert operation. That man needs to be taught a thing or two about stakeholder relations. The man never informs or educate Nigerians about the operations of INEC that would direct affect the electorate and other key stakeholders in the electoral process.

The man should just go

As someone who did his NYSC in the North, I can tell you that an average northerner is one that keeps his word and hates thieves. Forget about their corrupt elites and politicians, I found more simple and honest people in the north than any other part of Nigeria.

Buhari by his lifestyle and past actions is a man they can identify with and trust. One of my uncles lives in Kaduna and he told me that the common saying in the North is, 'all I need from Buhari is his word and I can go to bank with it'. Since the days of Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa, there has not been any other politician the Northerners trust to keep his words and look after their welfare like Buhari, that is why even those that will vote for PDP governors will vote for Buhari presidency.
Buhari is a man they can trust? Is that all Buhari can offer the north? A worthless piece of intangible human emotion!
This is a man who is in a favorable position as a former leader to influence positive change in the life of his fellow northerners, of whom majority are dirt poor and illiterate. The northerners can do better than this. . .

All he does is contest elections - whenever he loses, his people commit violent acts in his name. Human lives and property is lost and never rebuilt or regained.

That is the height of ignorance and idiocy

In as much as some of the topics seem relevant, others by extension are not. Take for instance, Email Marketing. Email marketing can never drive fresh traffic for you, except you want to start extracting people's email and blasting your fresh content topics to them, which will affect you in a short while.

Let us be realistic. Media buys are the most expensive forms of driving traffic to your website. Most Media buys start off with you on $1,000. The least the last time I checked was $500. Except you have plenty of money, Media buy is a no go area.

I don't want to go into so much detailing but the most effective method on the above list is the last, which is PPV/CPV advertising.

I love this method and it brings in traffic and the traffic brings in the money. Except you put up a product that isn't pleasing to traffic. I blend this with search engine traffic and I A̶̲̥̅♏ always good to go.

That is my 2cent opinion / information.
She said she wants to learn about online marketing, which email marketing is a part of. Also, email marketing does bring fresh traffic, it depends on the aspect of email marketing you're looking at.

There's no such thing as the most effective method in internet marketing, some marketers make a killing through social media, some through ppc and some through media buying. It depends on what you're promoting or your type of offer plus other little factors

Media buying is expensive but it has some of the most quality traffic you can ever find and you get ads shown in the most premium pages on the web.

PPV traffic can also be a waste of time if you're promoting the wrong offer.

Anyway, she wants to learn and i'm willing to teach her if she's ready. You can also help if you're interested. Lets show the youths the way forward.

General Buhari has been a runner up for the last three presidential elections in Nigeria. On these three occasions, majority of his votes have come from the Northern part of the country, where he comes from.

It will not be different this year as Buhari is expected to mop majority of the votes in the north. The allegiance of the northern people to Buhari is carved in stone.

I find it difficult to understand why he is revered so much by his people up north – why does he get so much respect, love, loyalty and allegiance from the northerners?

Has Buhari ever helped to bring development to the north, which is highly underdeveloped?

Has Buhari ever helped to improve education and learning for his northern people, who are the most backward in terms of western education in Nigeria?

Has Buhari ever helped to bring majority of northerners out of poverty?

Even as Boko Haram was ravaging his dear northern peoples, did he ever take bold steps to encourage peace and stop the bloodshed?

What has he done to deserve the massive loyalty he enjoys from his fellow northern people?

If there are any northerners in Nairaland and you’re reading this, please tell me what Buhari has done for the north?

PoliticsRe: 3 Problems Buhari Cannot Solve if he's Elected by Sweetguy25(op): 11:35am On Mar 07, 2015
ZICCKOde1st:
Op, I agree with you -that you have summed up Nigeria's problems. I however TOTALLY DISAGREE that Buhari cannot solve these issues. Funnily, u only need to solve two of these and others fall into place...Corruption and Power(electricity I mean). I do not have my stats here but I can say with confidence that a lot of SMEs have been grinded to a halt as a result of power issues. They've had to expend so much on alternative sources of power that this has affected their revenues, they've had to as a result downsize or right size(if u like) resulting in massive unemployment.

The truth is we do not expect government to provide all the jobs and solve all of our problems but let government give us light and see aw creative Nigerians can be. If ure a Christian and u believe in the story of creation, u'll agree the first thing the Almighty did was to speak to the firmament -let there be light- all developments came after then.

As to the issue of corruption, I personal think Jonathan is soft on it and I think this is because he has skeletons which can used against him, hence his soft disposition. 2011, I didn't vote for him because I felt he lacked the charisma to lead. We don't need to go into aw he allowed himself to be treated during the yaradua saga. A stern, disciplined hand coupled with a mentality that understands the rule of law is what Nigeria needs.
What I have found about we Nigerians is that we do not know about our country as much as we think we do. Corruption and power not our most challenging problems.
Many African countries are less corrupt and have more stable electricity than Nigeria, but they are poorer than us. In fact, some european countries have constant power but they're currently battling with economic recession and human unemployment.

I have thought about what I wrote critically before writing about it.

CareerRe: A Nairalander Needs You To Proffer Solutions Regarding Her Career Issues by Sweetguy25: 8:57pm On Mar 05, 2015
This is the 21st century, the world is moving too fast and majority of people are getting left behind. If you see yourself in an environment that will inhibit your personal development objectives and missions, you obviously have no business being there.

In order thoughts, I personally see your challenges in two different perspectives.

This is a struggle between you and your environment (the organisation or company you find yourself in). You want more from your environment and your environment wants more from you, there's a disconnection - a lacuna that needs to be filled by either one of you.

It's either you modify the organisation to suit your preferences and aspirations or you stay and wait for them to change you or give you the vibe you expect.
Is the place not as lively and positively tasking as you expect? Is there anything you can do change it to suit your "style"?
If you want a new challenge, you can start from your present organization and strive to effect the necessary changes that will uplift the company (which you'll be rewarded for) or you take the other route and find a new challenge in a different organization.
