Izonpikin: when ijaws struggle and benefits come like 13 percent derivation they all enjoy but when it's time to suffer together they detach themselves...Ingrates... This is the major challenge in the eastern region generally even though militancy has sort of given the ijaws a bad name. Kaduna Nzeogu, a man from so-called Niger Delta led a coup and the Igbos took the heat for it. Chinakwe, another so-called Niger Delta man labelled his dog Buhari and people were all over shouting that the Igbos have started again. Buhari described Emefiele as Igbo when he ranted, 'What do the Igbos want?' Yet all these people go about saying they are not Igbos. When they 'buy' trouble outside, the Igbos take the heat but when it is about oil, they quickly separate us from Niger Delta. All what has happened recently has only vindicated those that have said that their is nothing like SS, it does not exist. Today, the ijaws being part of the SS are agitating alone while the rest of the SS stood from afar watching. If the agitation had yielded anything good, they will all come out shouting we are part of SS. Here lies the problem with the east. |

Cornerstone99: [s]NSIT IBOM- WOMEN of Obotim Nsit community, Nsit Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa-Ibom State have vowed to protest nude to summon the wrath of the gods against government and a gas company whose pipeline was blown up in the community by the Niger Delta Avengers, NDA, July 24, for allegedly abandoning them to their fate after the destructive incident. They claimed that the explosion caused extensive damage to all the houses in the village besides ruining their farmlands and other means of livelihood, only for the company, working for the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, which constructed the pipeline, to simply evacuate its equipment after the incident and leave. However, NDA, penultimate week, declared an unannounced ceasefire following the appeal by monarchs, leaders and stakeholders of the Niger Delta coastal states on militants to sheathe their swords. In response to an earlier inquiry on the complaints by communities about the effects of their attacks on the environment, spokesperson of the militant group, self-styled Brig Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, empathized with the people, but said it was an unavoidable corollary they would have to bear in the spirit of the struggle to liberate them.

Bye. Well, so you say. I'm kina dissapointed but all in all, it is for the good of all. The truth however is that we want justice and fairness for all. We want to feel accepted as Nigerians as well. We also want development and progress. Goverment should be closer to the people than what we currently have going. |

Beamborla: I'm not understanding... So virginity is bought with bride price, right? In India, the lady pays the groom price. I guess the lady should sleep around while the guy should keep his virginity.
Quit blaming the moral decadance on ladies alone. If guys choose not to pressure ladies for sex, there would definitely be high number of virgins.
Y'all keep referring to those day when our mothers married as virgins. Did they do it alone? Our fathers didn't demand for sex as a prove of love. No, they didn't disrespect our mothers in any way. And yes, they'd go to their potential in-laws to farm, they'd take the best of their farm product to their potential in-law. What's more, some of them do this right from when the girl is given birth to till they get married. And they don't see all these as a reason to demand for sex before you tell me about how guys spend on ladies these days. It has been happening from time immemorial.
I'm not exhonerating or blaming anyone but until the society stops castigating ladies and praising men for the same action, ladies won't stop lying about their status, guys won't stop their act and moral decadence would keep eating deep into our society.
Parents tell their girl child to keep it but always fail to teach their male child to respect it. Who are we deceiving? If we are to look at the emotional make up of both sexes, guys need the lecture more. Brilliant post! |

Buhari's military is busy with Operation Crocrodile Smile against Niger Delta militants that do not go about killing innocents but the demonic fulani herdsmen are allowed to go free.
When will crocrodile also smile on the demonic fulani herdsmen ooo Nigerians?? |
Politics › Time To Remove Uguanyi As Governor Of Enugu. by Sweetle(op): 9:14pm On Aug 29, 2016 |
Please Ndiigbo, we need to start a movement to remove Uguanyi as Governor of Enugu State.
With the latest attack carried out by the demonic fulani herdsmen in which a priest was killed and another victim confirmed dead at the hospital, one would have expected a blanket ban on cattle grazing in Enugu state but what do we have? A silly Governor behaving like a little boy not knowing his right from his left.
This worthless Governor was crying and called for fasting and praying. Yes, it is good to fast and pray but action is also required.
Uguanyi should be sacked and the time is now. |

Politics › When Will The Army Launch Operation Crocrodile Fulani by Sweetle(op): 6:29pm On Aug 27, 2016 |
We can see all the military excercises being carried out in the Niger Delta because of militants.
We all know how the rampaging fulani herdsmen have been going about killing innocents, raping women, destroying farm lands, sacking communities and occupying them.
Recently the fulani herdsmen told members of a community in southern Kaduna to evacuate their lands because their lands are now grazing fields after killing about seven persons.
The army seems not to be bothered about these murderous herdsmen. The minister of interrior has already told us that the police can handle the herdsmen.
The question now is how many innocents Nigerians have been killed by Niger Delta militants and how many have been killed by fulani herdsmen?
The military has launched operation crocrodile smile to battle the militants so when will the military launch operation crocrodile herdsmen?
We are watching. |

12inches1: Set up your business in my town or I blow your pipelines... I laugh The question you should ask is why mobil set up in Lagos. Or why many companies set up or have their headquarters in lagos. The answer is not far fetched. Why would I want to set up my company in a zone full of militants and unserious minded people who at every slight disagreement will blow up my assets. Then drill your oil from state that has the serious minded people,no be so? |

Shymm3xx: But isn't Lagos an oil producing state as well?
If they want the company to move to Akwa Ibom, they also need to take the millions of people from Akwa Ibom with the company back to the state. Lagos is overcrowded - you lot need to go back home. Yorubas have been saying that Igbos should leave their land as well. You should not be surprised that the Niger Delta people have also asked Yorubas to leave the SS. Now they are asking oil companies to relocate their head quarters to the SS. It is a good thing Lagos now has oil, Mobil should simply redirect their huge pipes to Lagos, simple. |

SuperS1Panther: I laugh in jukun.
Militants have started threatening investors they chased away from their land to relocate back.
Mobil chose SW because of the relative peace there and so shall it be until you learn to embrace peace as a means to conflict resolution. The problem is that Nigeria does not seemtounderstand the language of peace. The Niger Delta has been asking for resource control since forever but no one is listening. Ken Saro Wiwa was even executed just for asking for what righfully belongs to his people. |

I lost all the respect I had for Chino yesterday.
The guy is so shameless at his age.
I tried to call him to order but he kept on asking 'Who is Chino' and even threatened to report me to the MODs.
How can this shameless man Chino draw fire eastwards?

Chino is truly shameless.
He has been disgraced many times here during the picture posting era by one Odinma or scatter something like that.

QuotaSystem: [s]As someone earlier said, when a state of emergency is declared, all civil disobedience will bow to military might and the initial restraint shown to minimize collateral damage through aerial bombardment and ground invasion will be put aside and the real brutality of the armed forces backed by its land, marine and air assets will be fully unleashed.
Definitely there will be an economic backlash but suggesting that it would be enough to ground the economy is just laughable because not only has Nigeria been able to trudge through lower oil prices than what prevails today even amidst lower oil output due to sabotage, we also just more than doubled our monthly revenue generation from about N250 billion last month to over N500 billion at the end of July all from non oil revenue raised by the FIRS and Customs.
May woe befall any militant struck with enough cowardice to call off the declaration of the republic on October 1st. [/s] Is it by force to share a country with you |
