new2020: Even after reading this Yorubas will tell you...he is SS. Mumu sick people! Most these yorubas have no sense...many of them don't even know that Old Cross River (includes present day Akwa Ibom) fought along side the Igbos against Nigeria, lost as many of their forebears and also received 25 pounds from Awolowo. All these are etched deeply in our memory! Pls quote anywher in that interview where he called himself a biafran or even praised the biafran struggle. I'm waiting. |

I feel like crying tears of joy each time I see Osinbanjo stand taller and prouder than any VP in Nigeria ever. Buhari is truly a leader. I just love the way he's working with Osinbajo, giving him his due respect and influence. Who will dare disregard the summons of the VP again? Dem no born them well! I so envy South westerners now. You guys must be really feeling fly. Lol.
But this is good for Nigeria as a whole. Buhari has set a standard. |

huptin: I just naively told them that i see no difference between then and Ibos, they took serious offence and warned me never to call them Ibo again. They then went on to tell me a lot of terrible things about ibos.....men that was my first encounter with openly xenophobic human beings in my life. Funny enough i see a lot of them now in my office pandering to the ibos like they are one, once i remember the stories i heard from them about the ibos i shudder. The thing about SS people is that we claim brotherhood with the Igbos when we need their partnership. A good example is GEJ. When last did you hear him talk about Igbo? The SS people on NL pointing out this fact are the sincere ones. The rest like barcanista will rather continue using them to further his NL political campaigns. Igbos are very sensitive people. Hail them, kiss them, hug them, sweet-talk them, and they will carry your matter on their heads like gala. Politicians are very aware of that and that's why it's easy to use them. Just look at Fayose, just look at the way Igbos are hailing a man who disgraced his mother because of politics. Why? Simply because he is fighting their percieved enemy. Seriously! |

Not even one single Yoruba person here dragging Ishekiri or Esan even though there are traces of Yoruba culture in these 2 tribes and even other tribes sef. But it's only some misguided anuofia's that must come and disgrace the true level-headed sons of Ndigbo. In fact you have annoyed me now. Mods please move this thread to the front page let my Cross River brothers and sisters come and see the rubbish this guy just spewed about us. Arochuckwu Lalasticlala, Ishilove, pls who are the fp people on NL o? Enough is enough! |

vicenzo: No, it wont gel. Cross Rivers simply has nothing in common with Edo state, other than the fact that they are both members of the black race. The common uniting factor of ND which was crude oil, is now even absent in Cross Rivers.
Nothing! No pre colonial history, no colonial history, no shared culture, no shared language, no shared dressing style that is not obtainable everywhere else in Nigeria, no shared food styles, nothing!
The purpose of the thread was to show the homogeneity of SS, if you can't see that, then sorry for you.
As long as we still have a huge chunk of Igboland trapped in SS, any attempt to show that those Igbo parts have more similarity to groups in SS than the Igbos in SE, will always be opposed furiously by well meaning Igbos.
That's my point. And I can see how much similarities Cross River has with Enugu. I'm really viewing them in 5D now. |

alaoeri: Aside factions in Ekiti's PDP, APC are beating the governor to his game the immediate past speaker is distributing free fuel to Okada men & other stomach infrastructure things, wooing the masses gradually a situation not going well with Fayose thereby forcefully closing down some filling stations that belong to the ex speakers. Oma se o! But is Ekiti really a SW state? They don't behave at all like yorubas sorry. Typical Yorubas will chop and clean mouth then vote for who they think will make more sense. When I tell your fellow SS marranos that not an inch of SS igboland would be left behind they think we're joking Anyway, what's the oron version of effiong..that's my uncle's name.you said something about name variations among Mmoño tribes Come and take land na. explorer250: hehehe no vex abeg. Who told you that you are the majority? How many local governments do urhobo have? Oh is it because you allied with other minorities to steal the majority status from us? Meanwhile you can believe anything as long as we are numerical greater than.
But wait oh!, how did an igbo man manage to be governor when you people are in majority? Lolz i laugh in swahili. So did is why you claim that igbo deltas are not igbos so that you can dominate and proclaim them minority?
Igbophobia is a dangerous disease desist from it before it becomes pathological and chronic Urhobos have ruled, Ishekiri has ruled, so why not Delta Igbo? Are the Delta Igbos themselves now feeling more superior to others just because the new governor is Delta Igbo WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM EXACTLY? |
